Rena, keep watching the ROAD section of this site...so far, Joe hasn't posted any shows in your area, but he isn't done scheduling yet either.

Once a show is posted, it usually includes a date that tickets will go on sale...keep an eye out, and you should be able to snag tickets from ticketmaster or even the venue itself. Or if you really want to go big, you can purchase platinum tix if they are offered for your show, and you can both get to meet Joe!! Good luck!

Hi Joe this is Mick talkin, I'm a great G3 fan,you and Vai are my idols, and I often take you as an example in playing the guitar...I'ts been 6 years since I started playing the guitar, but I'm taught playing all by myself, listening to your music...but I obviously I can't play it that well, so I ask you if you can please teach me, I'm italian and where I live there are no good teachers (there's a great jazz guitarist, but he settled in Rome now) and me and my band don't even a place for playing well and maybe recording...please help me!

Hey Bucko69

Just read your message, why should Joe come back to England,

BECAUSE WE LUV HIM MEGGA LOADS. We may be a tiny Island but we have huge hearts and huge appreciation for an artist as talented, gifted, and seriously entertaining and just to add to the list, he's a thoroughly nice bloke.

He should come to Ireland too and why not ,you lot luv him too.

Hurry up Joe, We need an injection of the Joe thing. Move over teeny weeny bopping bands and let the real musicians through.

luv shaz

xx

Hi Joe

I missed your show when you came 'down under' last year to New Zealand. I am keen to see your show with Eric Johnson and will travel to the US to see it. Where are you playing in May and June?

Cheers Mate

Satriella, "By the way I just got an invite from Amazon to buy Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra by ygnwie...any good do you think?".....no, but that's 'cause I don't like Yngwie!

Oh and Bill Bailey is a funny dude, "Part Troll" was great!

Rob310, thanks! Yeah, it's rockin', the pair of SA's together are so much fun. I can't wait to get a set of DiMarzios and locking tuners on the 2120!

Also, I was quite surprised by something this morning - it seems that Ibanez don't use scarf joints to make necks with angled headstocks, or at least they don't on my two SA guitars. Even though the headstock is angled back, it's the same piece of wood as the neck.

And looking at the grain, it looks like it's even possible that they bend the neck at the point where it angles back......I'm amazed, but I also now forgive them for charging so much for replacement necks. The production cost and time needed is higher than it would be using a scarf joint!

There you go, I doubt you wanted to know any of that, but hey, it got a raised eyebrow from me :-D

MARIASRV: Yeah, I know that one. Flash guns going off in or near my face as I played would drive me mad on tour. Then I discovered photographers that knew how to take pictures at shows without having to resort to flash. Man that made all the difference. Professionals...ha.

Well!!! We just got our "Take Note" dvd of the interview with Joe on April 16th, 2005 in beautiful Portland, OR.......

It is really great, Joe talks a lot about the music industry and what young musicians should know before they go pro in order to protect themselves....the history of his chromie guitars...the importance of the relationships you build as a professional and who you really need in your life to help you navigate the business side...

Steve Vai also appears to talk about Joe and what it was like to have him as his teacher and friend....

We get to see Summer Song played live in Portland....and Joe finishes off with talking about his dog, and his yard....lol....

It's a lovely interview, Joe is as informative as ever, and entertaining to watch...and for what it's worth Joe, I agree with you 100% about kids and having a childhood, focused on the things they should get to experience before facing the adult, professional world...

Congratulations Joe, REALLY nice interview! :))
