DCK: Yikes! Sounds a little scary. well...I'm still doing the instrumental thing with my band. We're about to change drummers. We found a guy that's been around the block....a real archivist of prog/ fussion stuff. I'm real excited to see where that goes. I think we might start learning some Chic Corea Elektric Band music (esp. Charged Particles) really cool stuff. I'll be recording (as a side man) with a guy at FullSail (recording school) next week. I've also got some potential work comming up playing on a female vocalist's album. She's kind of a Pat Benatar type. Any way, I'll let you know if any of that hits.

Hello again Mr. Sat, I'm just stoppin in to give another shout out to your amazing music. I have been playing guitar for many years now and have a very wide knowledge of all of the greats that have made me the guitar player that I am. I have only recently began to digest your amazing music. I wish I would have heard you years ago. I am currently using your guitar play as a foundation for my own play. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication that makes myself and surely a lot of others, better musicians. Please continue to keep us in suspense with your music and thanks again, will

My aunt has taken a turn for the worse it seems. She no longer recognises people and my mom is extremely upset by this.

I think its obvious now that she is not going to be with us for much longer.

My mom is going to be devastated when she is gone, this is her big sister who looked out for her when she was a kid and even now while she's ill she still fights in my moms corner when stuff comes up and sides need to be taken.

Delfino:Sorry to hear that, chin up bud

Ovation:lol, yeah,Where have all the good times gone V.Halen style should be changed for where has all the good gear gone

Cuth:Cool T-shirts, although i could think up something much more offensive, lol

Zen:Mr.Gambale is a walking library of impro ideas not to mention his unique take on technique.Holdsworth is still the king though, the man never seems to repeat the same phrase twice, like or not Allan, his impro approach to harmony is nothing short of incredible.

Most musicians break scales into 7 separate modes hence having a beginning & end, Holdsworth doesnt, although he is fully aware how to, instead he sees scales of which he mostly uses 15, with 7 tonal centres, of course not all scales have 7 notes C jazz dom(addnat7) has eight for eg, but you get my point.Slansh also has a new friend, the GNX3000, for 515euro i cant believe the sound out of it

Clarky/DCK:I,m floored with the GNX3000, not to be used using headphones but through an amp this baby with a little tweaking is astounding.Bad points are not being able to move the FX,s in the chain & there is an annoying half second gap when changing patches although that can be absolved through setting up all you need in one.The Fx,s as expected sound great.I never had a rock guitar tone i could say i liked until now, the idea of having two different amp setups then morphing or warping the two together creating your own hypermodel is great craic. All this & i,ve still not loaded the software into the comp.Definately worth buying, best bang for buck yet

Great Vid Joe!!! that's the 1st stand alone music vid in a long time... gotta be what? 13 years? All Alone was the last one I think???

anyways... I think it would be cool if we could stream all of your other hard to find vids that didn't appear in their entirety on the Satch Tapes for instance... if there were any more that people in a normal situation have not seen..

anyways... can't wait for the album... and most importantly, next month... in Toronto!!

Peace

Bear

JOE, I absolutely LOVE the new video! Love the scene changes and the way you groove when your playing. Awesome job!! Big Joe is taking over the world!!

Mari, nope, different sister. You're talking about my oldest sis. It's my second sis's oldest daughter who got married. Some folks here might remember her from Sept. '01 when her first husband Bryan died (drinking and driving). She was a widow at 21, so this wedding was a huge deal for us. So glad she's moving forward and found a great guy. I have good vibes about it this time around.

Delfino, so sorry to hear about your aunt.

Alley, hope you're feeling better honey!
