I think I heard the GNX3000 has a Carvin Legacy simulation? Anyone try it out? I've heard a lot of good things on the GNX3000. I've tried Digitech's RP50, RPX400, and GNX3, didn't like any of them. I didn't try out the GNX3000, maybe I'd get around to it, maybe. The DIgitech units I've tried out have sounded either too harsh, thin, too digital, muddy, combo of any of those, or all. Everyone has their own 'sound', so...

Delfino, dude, I'm really sorry to hear what's going on with your aunt. Inevitibility is a real bastard to deal with sometimes, but putting up with not knowing what's going to happen can be at least as bad.....the main thing is that she doesn't go through too much pain. Look after your mum, and yourself, of course. Take it easy buddy, keep us posted.
bubbaep, hey welcome to the board! Tell us all about yourself.....what's your favourite tune of Joe's, where you from etc? I mean, you don't have to tell us anything, but it's always cool to find out about people! hehe :-D
Guitarmiester, aww nothing could properly simulate a Carvin Legacy dude! haha, I tell you it's so sweet, and more versatile than you might imagine.
I'm constantly impressed by how natural and organic it feels, and how broad it's spectrum is for a no-bullsh*t 2-channel amp.

Guitarmiester: This is the first time i can say Digitech has something great to offer amp sim wise. The GNX3000 is something of a wonder, but dont do as i did and judge it first hand through headphones, also set the output for all mono, b4 you go into stereo wonderland.I also found the compression lame, also boot a boss CS-3 set low into it helps the tone no end.I posted to Clarky & DCK my setup to bring this unit 2 life & it does deliver "what i need" .I,ve tryed a lot of so called Boutique amps from 2000 t 4000 euro, i couldnt find my tone, owned top of line digi gear that sounded awesome for fxs but failed miserably for Ov/Dist.This is different, it fails in what the fxs had previous although are great, but fuck me does it kick out serious options for tone.At this kind of price you cant fail bud, it really is the dogs bits, like all processors you,ll twiddle, hum & swear but this is worth the effort, really.I would say, sit in a quiet part of the shop for 4 hours b4 buying.I say, simulate whats in your head so your heart can hear

Alright 962, you asked for it!
(I am now 'showing' my info so that will help)
I am from Marlboro, NJ. About 20 minutes from Sayreville, NJ and I have in my hand a ticket for the 4/18 show at the Starland Ballroom!
Long time fan. Saw him twice thus far: Once on the 'Joe Satriani' tour (w/o G3) and once on the first G3 tour.
Call me boring, but I love Summer Song. Probably because it was the song that initially got me into him and was also the song that me and my wife used as our introduction into our Wedding reception.
I have a Fender Jazz bass and know 6 Ramones songs. Thus I don't consider myself a playa! Not yet.
Now you all know a little bit about me. And this is my sign off ...
-Arty Ramone-
adios for now!

Hi, Joe, I think you are surprised by the fact that one Russian girl has decided spontaniously to post you. Of course, I've registered at your interactive fan-club first. :) So, excuse me if my knowledge of English is not enough. :) So, I've listened to your beautiful music for the first time less than a year ago. It sounded so amazing and super-melodical me!! I was really happy! I'd like to know if I could talk to you privately, cause there are some things that I can't say publically. Good luck to you!!1 Your Russian friend (Hopefully)... :)!

"remember a famous band (kiss) once said God gave rocknroll to ya! "
Hardly anyone sings that anymore when it comes on...I drunkenly started singing "God gave cock and balls to you" and before I knew it about 200 people were singing it with me lol.
The other version is "God gave sausage rolls to you"...anywayz yeah, thats my love of that song voiced in a changing of lyrics.

I saw the new video and all I have to say is that it's flawless in execution but boring. Joe you are a brilliant musician but don't you think it's time to interact with other musicians to try something different and interesting? The scenes used as the back drop are just as boring as the bass and drums and there is no passion in song or video. You are in a rut not a grove and I'm dissappointed at this first offering from the new CD. I hope the rest is a lot more passionate. Yes I'll still buy it but you need to get into a band and fast!!!!!
