962 The Carvin Legacy is an awesome 2 channel amp, if I ever take a trip to somewhere near a Carvin dealer, I'll most likely end up bringing home either the Legacy head or 2x12! I'm not kidding either...it's not just a great amp because it's Vai's signature head, it is capable of a lot, one very impressive amp.
slanshroom I wasn't really interested in buying the GNX3000, I was wondering if it really could deliver, because I've never been impressed by any of Digitech's other floor units. Maybe I'll try it out when I can just to try it. I did just buy a new Korg/ToneWorks AX3000G a few months back, very happy with it. It took me a while to convince myself to try out floor units, but I tried out a few different things (Boss ME-50, GT-8, a few Digitech GNX- units, Korg AX1000G, and Korg AX3000G) few hours later I left with the Korg AX3000G. It's got some amazing sounding amp and cab simulations. The effects are really good too, but I don't use effects, with the exception of the filtron if I'm in the mood to play Vai's 'Glorious'. Thanks for the reply on the GNX3000 though.

Hey Joe! Cant wait to see you in Bmore on April 17!
Quick question.. Do you have a new instructional video? It has to be recent since you cover Super Colossal.
Must see for all Satch Fans on Video Google!

DCK: The fatty calcium deposit you have(me too) is called a ganglion cyst. My Mom tells me I got it from my bad grama's side what ever that's supposed to mean) and they are begnine.(sp) Try not to have the surgery that most doc's will recommend and opt out for an asperation! That is where they use a needle to "suck out" the cyst. This can remove it, and make it so'os you may not develop one there again....cross your fingers on that one. The biggest problem with them is they can irritate your tendonds. They grow between joints in bone. I get them on my head with the last one removed recently! If'in' it bothers you, have it done...if not it's okay to leave it. Cool that t2j2 is out now. Once I have something comming in from working.....I have several apps out there now.....That and JOE'S new album will be my first buys!

DEAN GASPARDO: Steven Wilde gave me your cd to listen to, "Through these Eyes" and track ten "Lucky Me" was a stand out for me. All the tracks have a similar style like Steven's only a bit more reserved. Great work Dean ! I love hearing stuff like yours. You remind me of UFO a bit with your phrazing. I guess Steven has talked to you about having "seemless recordings." At least your production habits utlize this attribute. Hope you don't mind an impromtu review. Randell P.S. JOE SATRIANI: The pod cast seems to keep changing it's playing fromat on my comp. Now I have to wait an uncommon amount of time to hear your songs....but still worth the effort! Thanks for the pre-views! Randell

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the
Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be
institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to
empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you
want a bed near the window?"

ACTUAL AUSTRALIAN COURT DOCKET 12659---CASE OF THE PREGNANT LADY
A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus. She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her. After a few minutes, this started making her very uncomfortable, so she moved to another seat. The man's eyes followed here, and the smile turned into a broad grin. She moved again. The man seemed even more amused. When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she complained to the driver, who flagged down a cop and had the young man removed from the bus. He was eventually arrested.
The case came up for arraignment. The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) what he had to say for himself. The man replied, "Well your Honor, it was like this: When the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat down under a sign that said, 'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I smiled."
"Then she moved and sat under a sign that said, 'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling', and I had to grin."
"Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, 'William's Big Stick did the trick,' and I could hardly contain myself.
"BUT, your Honor, when she moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this accident'... I just lost it."
The case was dismissed.
