Hi everybody. Is there any chance to buy The Premium Platinum ticket package for Joe's Super Colossal Tour at Chicago's House of Blues? Tickets appear OFF SALE, but NOT Sold Out like the Denver event. Thanks

mthead101 - Thank you again for your kind words, you really have had more than most to complain about or be sad about but you remain upbeat...thank you for being you....SLAM-A-TOCIOUS Hug fella...Oh and yeah give portraits a go...you never know I may do you next....so beware!

cuthbert1776 - Aww what can I say...very touching...I take it that it was quite recent as it still makes you cry...sorry hunny!

gruskada - Yay what a great idea, I'm sure you (and me - hehe) will get lots of information from everyone on here...they are a very helpful and knowledgable bunch...though much of the information may have lost its source by now...if you know what I mean...you read something or hear Joe tell something at a meet and greet...but knowing where you heard it years later can be difficult! But it would be great to get a T2J book together...like the two CD's that have been done....hmmm go for it mate! ummm babelfish as in Hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy?

962 - Answer to guitar world Q is ?????? brrrrr chilly

Take care all

Hugs Satriella xx

Joe,

Ever thought of doing a proper biography....go on tell me there is already a book out there! But it would be great...you definately have a lifetimes worth of stuff to go in there...just covering the story behind all the songs you've done would probably cover 2 books without the people you've taught and the gigs you've played and your philosophies on music and anything else! It would be a best-seller that's for sure...cos there are so many people in the world that

LOVE YOU AND YOUR MUSIC!

Hugs Satriella xx

Zinc Master.. Anytime my friend..anytime!!! Yes i've most definately had my share of lifes wondermentand i'm still awed by the irony we call life.. true my loss was profound but, even though mom and dad are gone i feel truly blessed and so very proud to have had such beautiful people i can call mom and dad ( angels on my shoulders). The irony we call life the epitomy being that were all born to die.. so remember its what we do in our life thats truly important..so at the chance of sounding redundant.. be strong for yourself and those around you thats what it means to be a man.. thats whats important and of that we can be proud... hold your head up high my friend.!! MT

Cuthbert 1776... Good God you story sounds so much like what i went thru with my mom... at the time i was pissed off at God for taking away the most beautiful person to ever grace the planet with her foot steps. I was 22 and upon reflection just selfish wanting to keep her with me when it was time ( Gods will ) for her to go with him where she could not be hurt anymore by anyone and stay with God in his house where she deserved to be. Through his grace she was able to move her right hand.. when i held it she looked at me as if to say ' its alright.. dont worry... good bye..i love you ' though it killed me at the time i latter relised only through Gods grace was she able to hold on long enough to say good bye and for that i will always be grateful !! Satriella - "though much of the information may have lost its source by now" - yeah, I'm running into that a lot. There's a lot of good info, though, and I don't see a reason why people would lie, so I think I'll take the info and make a note next to it, something like, "told to T2J member 'Satriella' at a meet and greet" or something like that.

Ok, now I'm forced to post more song info! From an old bio here at Satriani.com (http://www.satriani.com/2000/about/bio/): "Champagne?" is a solo treatment of suspended chords as popularized by Keith Richards.

I love that piece - almost killed my speakers by turning it up too much!

I've got some more info on it - just can't find it now. Ugh. That was a weak one, so here's another weak one to go along with it - Hill Groove was conceived from Jamming along with a Lauren Hill song (from my memory of the SBM listening party) (only weak because I think most people know this already). Anyway, anyone know which Lauren Hill song it was?

Satriella - You can open two windows in your browser. One on the post page and one on the board and toggle between the two. Also, if you are going to have a long post, write in MS Word and then paste it into the post window. This way if you are over the character limit your post won't end up in cyber-space purgatory.

Got a few inches of snow today. Of course, the people up here get all freaked out and so things a re shutting down over 3-3 inches of snow. Freakin losers.

Castle - Haven't forgot about your response. I just haven't had time to do some of the research that I wanted to do on Hillsboro. I don't know anything about the coastal towns other than they are suppsed to be nice with a bit more moderate climate. I'll gather some stuff soon.

After going through a number of interviews, I've noticed that Joe gets asked these questions (or variations of them) just WAY too much:

- what happened to your hair? will you ever grow it back? - what do you think about the future of guitar? - what was it like teaching Steve Vai, Kirk Hammet, etc.? - how did you get started playing guitar?

I don't know how Joe has the patience to keep answering these, but I guess it could really backfire on him if he said something like, "geez - I've answered that 50 times - do your research! What's the matter with you!!"

The only thing I've so far seen that's close to that is when Joe was asked if he could be trusted to play the blues (around the time of the Joe Satriani album). Joe basically said (not a direct quote), That's such a strange question. What kind of question is that??

I think he just usually gives really short answers if he doesn't like the question.

He also gets asked something like "Who are you listening to now" quite a bit, but this is a good question, as Joe listens to a lot of cool stuff, and he usually gives a different answer.

Song info: "Turkey Man" is about guitar tech Mike Manning. - posted by Joe on T2J, March 17, 2000. BTW, Eric Caudieux wrote this one.

I was wondering why you're bald. I'd probably listen to you if you had long flowing locks, like back in the day. I may consider going to see you in concert if you were even to wear a wig and possibly remove your sunglasses. I can't say wether you are good or bad at the guitar becuase I have been put of your music due to your intense baldness.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is to grow some hair or, failing that, look yourself out a hairpiece. Don't mean to be harsh but it's how I feel with this matter.

My friend "Spud Turkington" really digs you though and I'd be interested in listening your music if only I could be sure it was recorded by a guy with cool hair.

All the best.

To Webmaster -

Hiya...I've read about the dates for the UK and I am going to go to the Birmingham show. The tickets go on sale tomorrow so I'll buy them as soon as they're available to get the best seats, but preferably I'd like to get the premium tickets if they're available for the UK shows. I don't want to buy tickets if they're are, but if they're not then I want to buy tikets as soon as possible (to get good seats). Is there any plans for the premium tickets in the UK? Tickets go on sale for Birmingham tomorrow 10am UK time.

baldy feck Pretty horrible thing to say about Joe in my opinion. Joe looks ****STUNNING**** With his bald head, and what the hell is wrong with his sunglasses????? Not only is Joe the best guitarist ever, he is also blessed with his amazing good looks. I would'nt say there are many artists out there that can top that.
