Looking forward to Super Colossal. I haven't seen any mention of it on iTunes yet. ITLIS is absolutely incredible. One gripe: Why is the "Dog with Crown and Earrings" track not available except on the Japanese release? Why do artists do that in general?

Rock You Like Green Day
Scorpions guitarist Rudolph Schenker says the group currently is working on a new CD that he hopes will be released either in late 2006 or early 2007.
"It's going to pick up where [2004's] Unbreakable left off," he says.
"It will have superb power ballads and hard-rocking songs playable on commercial radio."
The axe-man adds that he's drawn influences from modern rockers Green Day and System of a Down while recording the album, which he promises will "sound fresh and rocking."

When is Super Colossal coming out in the UK? Amazon states April 24th, please don't say I have to wait that long! I hope you are preparing some kind of bonus to say sorry. Can't wait to see you at Birmingham!

Yes I am mate but how would you feel if your concert tickets were selling for ten times their face value ? Is it right that a dot com corp should make more money than Joe does at his gigs ? How would you feel if your band was being robbed like this ? Ticket agents make a profit usually 10% of the booking fee. Thats reasonable but 1000% profit on the ticket price. Its hard enough to make a livin as it is in this game with out beeing rinsed by those vultures its unethical.
If you rented a trailer for $500 a week through robublind.com and then found your next door neighbour is only paing $50 per week for the same thing. Wouldnt you d be pissed off?1. cos they took you for a mug and 2. the amount they ripped you off ?
People should be able to make a profit those guys just take the piss and even when you do purchase tickets you are not guaranteed of geting them. Its just not right the amount they make out of it.

ATTENTION, SATCHLAND:
so i finished listening to the whole "Super Colossal" album for the first time and this is what i think:
"CROWD CHANT" SHOULD BE THE OFFICIAL THEME SONG FOR THE SOCCER WORLD CUP 2006 IN GERMANY PLAYING NEXT JUNE!!!!!!!!!
AND NOW I'M GONNA EXPLAIN WHY I THINK THIS SHOULD HAPPEN:
Granted, the germans probably had everything already figured out, and yes, most people would probably love to see something like JLO shaking her booty, again, as she pretends to be singing live, again... and yes, probably we won't have any world cup at all because of the freakin' bird flu!!!... but come on, guys... if somebody out there likes soccer like me (guys from europe please back me up on this!!! england, ireland, portugal, anybody!!!!!) you would know it's a perfect song for hanging out in a bar watching the game with your friends, IT'S A PERFECT VIBE!!! COME ON JOE, YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS WHEN YOU WROTE THIS SONG!!!
If any of you have watched the world cup before, you'd know this song fits perfectly, either for the opening or the closing ceremony, maybe for the whole thing, which lasts a month!!!...
nothing better than people from all over the world together, united by one common passion, singing beyond language, race, or anything...
i really think somebody around mr. satriani should send a copy of this record to the comitee in charge of this event, I'm sure they would love this track!!!
if you have any doubts about that, just listen to the UEFA Champions League Anthem, i'm sure some of you guys know what i'm talking about... this is a major kick ass song for a major kick ass event... if you think people watched the oscars worldwide, you should check the ratings on the past world cups... i rest my case, thank you very much....
and one more thing, with all the respect to queen, if i listen to "we're are the champions" once again, for the 50th time, after the final game, i think i'm gonna be sick... come on people!!! a little creativity over here, it wouldn't hurt!!!!
if any of you guys have something to say about this, please let me know

The UK fans are keeping their fingers crossed on any chance of premium tickets. I went to Vai's EVO experience in Newcastle and he told me they did'nt sell too well in some parts of Europe but all UK gigs were sold out.
Come on Joe's management, that tells you not to worry about us Brits. We give you SOLD OUT at every venue I'm sure. Do your best and give us the chance to hang out with our inspiration. Premium tickets are a great idea, but we can't afford to come to the US just to try them.
Peace

HRHFISH: What little of Holdsworth's stuff I've heard is nuts! I think his stuff sounds so alien is due to his huge stretch capabilities in his left hand. He can execute a lick that sounds like a 6string sweep pattern with a pull/hammer lick that covers only a few strings. Alan can reach wide 4note per string patterns. Killer!

Mr. Satriani
For my birthday i got tickets to see you and Eric Johnson at the house of blues in Chicago on April 5 instead of a peddle board that I've been waiting for. As a "birthday gift" I was wondering if you and Mr. Johnson could sign a pick guard before or after the show. It would be the best gift I've ever gotten.
I got Super Colossal today, and I think you did and awsome job with it
Keep up the good work
One of your many fans,
Marc Malanca

MR. SATRIANI, after trying to find the proper way to call you, I´ve found out this is the most proper one. I just wanted to say that It´s VITAL for me that you come to Madrid (Spain, European Union) in your European tour. I was at last G3 here and IT ROCKED!!! Please, please, please and again...PLEASE come to Madrid, we love your music and we need to see you live. Nothing compares to listening to your music LIVE! You´re the greatest guitarist and musician ever! I wonder what Mozart would have done if you had walked around Vienna, with your guitar, some Centuries ago. Probably he wouldn´t have wanted to be a musician, (Salieri would have suicide himself) but I DO want to become a good guitarist and a good musician, and that´s BECAUSE OF YOU! Your music is awesome!!! My favourite song is "LORDS OF KARMA", that´s my favourite song of all time! I wish I could do such a great music as you do! But it´s gonna remain just as a dream. THANKS FOR YOUR ART!! YOU REALLY ARE SUPER COLOSSAL!!!!!!! INDEED!!!!
