holy crap, so much to say... well i won after show passes on friday so today i went to the concert. Eric Johnson was amazing and is very talanted. After that joe had a flawless show and encore where crowd chant took over the whole auditoriam. I then met the band... i saw joe and got a picture with him and had him sign some stuff, talked to matt for a while, got more stuff signed. Then i got into a long discussion with jeff who was really fun to talk to. Gallen then signed some stuff. i almost forgot to get "super colossal" signed by matt, i got it signed at the last minute. i didn't say much to joe but when i left he waved a good bye, and i did a peace sign. I didn't get to ask joe anything, but it was a ton of fun

Joe, just came out of your show in albuquerque. awesome show! Me and my brother waited outside the auditorium for signatures until 1am when the crew finally packed up all the equipment. Just as we were leaving we spotted the bus a couple blocks away, but by the time we ran there the buses just left. Is there any other way we can get an autograph? Like sending a self addressed envelope to someplace? We were really bummed we missed the bus, and we might not get another chance.

Finally bought 'Super Colossal'; sounding great so far! How do the songs work out in the live setting?

Suzie - lol... We could do, but Jamie's problem on stage is that he's like an uncaged animal. He'd be totally incapable of standing still and as a result would do himself a worse injury!!

Suzie, we went to all the most popular places, including the Sagrada Familia, and all were worth seeing. We didn't get time to go in any of Gaudi's buildings 'cause the queues were epic, but since you're there for a week I strongly suggest that you take the time to check them out! I've seen other people's photos from inside the Casa Milla and Sagrada Familia, for example, and they are stunning!

In the Parc De Mont Juic is Pueblo Espanyol, which is a small, walled village with shops and restaraunts and cool stuff to see - it's made up of different areas, each one with architecture representing different areas of spain.....it's a great idea and a great place, and worth paying the fee to get through the gates.

In addition, we managed to get a reservation to see a traditonal Flamenco show in one of the restaraunts in the Pueblo Espanyol, which was absolutely awesome, one of the coolest and most fascinating things I've seen. I think there are a few places in the area with live Flamenco shows, so be sure to go to at least one 'cause you'll love it, I promise!

Keniko, can you not get to a Carvin dealer? I guess they aren't as widespread round the US as I thought?! To be honest, I would be fairly comfortable with getting them to make a guitar up, buying it, and hoping it's everything I expected when it arrives. They must be doing something right, check out Tony MacAlpines T-Mac model, it rips!
alexandre, it's no problem amigo, if you find out you can make it to the show then you're welcome to have the ticket, ut if I remember correctly, flights are really expensive at that time?!
Joseph Malec, that's Andy Timmons, the coolest player around. And, Eric and Joe is THE perfect line-up, I'm terribly envious of you and all the others who got to see it.

You can check out Andy's cool website to find out more about him and hear some samples of his great tunes. His new album just came out over the weekend, hence his special guest appearance in the JS & EJ show in TX.

Dear Mr. Satriani

I am a big fan of yours here in Bangladesh. We are a very small South Asian country and it is very hard to find good hardrock or heavymetal music.

I am one of the lucky ones to have come in contact with your music and I was a big fan of yours starting from your very first album to the last.

I hope to hear from you

My best regards

Shumon

I was at the Atlanta show on the 25th with platinum passes. So far neither I nor my friend have received an email regarding where our pictures can be downloaded. Has anyone here been having the same problem or did we get left out of the loop somehow? I've sent an email to the webmaster, but no reply yet. Just wondering if maybe something is going on and someone knows about it.
