Zen

I guess if I had to describe Serge it would be the " French Leonard Cohen" but with a better voice and even more attitude...

or is Leonard the "English Serge Gainsbourg" with a worse voice and less attitude..

lol

Nikki Sixx To Get Divorced

(CBS) LOS ANGELES Donna D'Errico, Playboy's Miss September 1995 and a former "Baywatch" actress, has reportedly filed for divorce from husband Nikki Sixx, the bassist for Motley Crue.

The couple was married for little more than nine years. She recently turned 38-years-old and he is 48.

It is the most recent high-profile celebrity rock star marriage bust-up following on the heels of Heather Locklear filing for divorce from Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora. Loclear, of course, was also married to Tommy Lee, of Motley Crue fame.

D'Errico's other credits include the TV show "Reno 911!" as well as the movies "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Kiss the Bride."

The couple separated after four years of marriage but D'Errico returned to the rocker after he completed a stint in rehab.

Hey Joe

First posting. I've almost worn out Mega Colossal already.

Your axe NEVER sounds out of tune, anywhere on the neck (unlike my own...) Are you using the Buzz Feiten system, or the Earvana nut? If so, was "With Jupiter in Mind" sort of a test of that system? I try those chords, they sound HORRIBLE.

Zenfish: The SRV documentary made me cry...I miss Stevie so damn much!! I can't thank you enough. I'll never divorce his Ghost. Thanks for the great photos my Blues friend.

Keniko & Mikesb: Shame on you both for the Hasslehoff videos! I think I'm going to get sick....... Thank God I watched SRV! Whew..... I looked at my Eric Sardinas photos and felt much better. Now HE"S sexy!! I'm going to see Ana Popovich on May 21st!! I can't wait. I hope to photograph her.

Tulsachops: Thank you for talking about the platinum photos & Joe icing his arm. I'd posted before about the platinum photos since I'd been there & done that last year. Joe ices his arm after EVERY show. It's got to be quite a workout for him.

I'm joining forces with Sam Tran of ForeverJoe.com I will be one of his photographer's for the website. Hopefully we will have a synergistic effect..... I'm honored to be a part of his site, we shall make JOe very Proud! I will have my site coming up very soon. I won't be around much so I can focus all of my attention on my photography and related events. It's been one of the highlights of my life being a part of T2J. I will be eternally grateful for the support & friendships I've made here. Joe & his music as well as his disciples have made such a tremendous impact in my life. Words can not express how much it's meant to me...I bow to you all.

Clarky: - Sounds like the new CD will be worth the wait. BTW, yesterday a customer asked us why we don't manufacture the 2112 or 2101. I responded with , "Yeah... Why don't we? I know someone who makes much use of one of those." Maybe... Someday they'll update them and bring 'em back.

-Just listened to the new TOOL CD: Effing awesome!

Sorry to pop in and leave for so long... I have too much on my plate at the moment. I'm trying to learn Pro Tools among other things.

Hey Joe! Thanks for a great show last night. I had so much fun. And I greatly appreciate you taking the time to meet me after the show. A real dream come true. This was the fourth time I have seen you play and you guys sounded awesome. Super Colossal is an awesome album, and I was glad you played so many songs off it. I did not get to tell you, but I am eventually going to get a 'Satch' tattoo in honor of you and your music. Have any ideas?

Thanks again. It was a real pleasure to meet you. Take care!!

Hiya gang,

Been too busy to keep up - work and jamming - tried to catch up, but just too much stuff...

Sad to say that my band has kinda fallen apart. Our drummer's wife was diagnosed with a serious cancer and he felt he should be with her. There's no way I'm gonna ever hold that against someone. Our hearts are with you Steve, and you know all you gotta do is call, and I'll do anything for you I can.

Nevertheless, the music's in my blood and I'm not gonna unplug till my fingers just can't do it anymore. So if anybody knows a drummer - a solid drummer - in southwestern MO who wants to rock...or if anybody in reasonable driving distance needs a guitarist who's been playing 30+ years and into all kinds of stuff, I'm your guy. I'm not Joe...but I do love chasing him up and down the fretboard!

Anyway, now that I have a little more time on my hands, I'll check in more often

Rock on!

MIKESB Kee Marcello rips. Thanks for the link. Not only that, I like the bass riffs. Really good sound. I dont know how he managed to stay seated during that last attack sequence! So Hendrix would be 64 y.o. this year. I think he would have been a little younger than Buddy Guy and he still rips. You agree? The blues rocks man. There's something about a solid down low dirty blues riff that briings the best out of a lead guitarist.

All you guys and ladies out there who are hooking us up to these great links thanks for the great entertainment. I'm learning alot about whos out there. The Petrucci link was cool. Whos playing bass for him now?

Joseph, as IM calls you. I like that. Its cool. There are alot of ies out there like Jimi, Stevie,Timmy, Mikie, Billy, Tommy, etc. etc. I'm going off. Anyway, I know you probably wont read what I have to say but....its no surprise that you have to ice the arm pre and post concert as you are approaching overuse syndrome buddy. The people posting are right. Of course you know that you are battling inflammation from microtears to the soft tissue most likely in both arms. This is due to high repetition in distinct patterns. This is why I play bass. There are no stats nor will any exist studying bass player guitarist repetition volume, but its obvious that there is a huge difference, especially in your case as you would be rated in the extreme volume catagory. This is good for the audience because they love to hear you shread. The downside is that if you dont take care of yourself, you suffer, especially as the tour progress' and you age. You are doing the right thing by icing to battle inflammation. You may or may not be taking anti-inflammatory meds. I dont know. I'm just trying to help. Now, if you ice BEFORE playing you may be doing yourself more harm than good. By icing pre concert you are slowing the nerve conductivity to the muscle tissue which numbs the pain, but requires more blood circulation to warm-up. It is my guess that once you warm up you feel good. So the logical and suggested practice is that you WARM the arm and hand with a heating pad and or use whats called parafin wax on your hands BEFORE you play. This way you'll be ready to go bro! AFTER you play ice and use anti-inflammatory meds if you must, as this is when damage can occur.

Joe, we want you around for a long time man. When you get off tour you need to go on a so called off season training regimen. There are a ton of touring bands that needlessly endure pain when they dont have too. Drummers are especially prone to damage as they age, not that your old Joe. But you catch my drift. There is alot to be said about strength, muscle endurance, neuromuscular reeducation, and muscle memory when applying these principles to musicians. When pain exceeds strength, its not a good thing. There, I have said my piece. Time to go water the lawn. G OUT..
