Went and saw Joe from 4th row tonight .....awsome show. I knew all the new songs and he played the like the master he is...............sorry but he made Eric Johson sound like a garage band and I like Eric a lot. Erics version of Hendrix was exelent as well and many of his tunes..........still,Joe burned the house down with his perfect playing and stage presence........the alien was surfing in San Diego like there was no tomorrow...........The 7 friends that I got tickets for and talked into going Praised me for my brilliant idea of going to see the Best Guitar player on earth........ok the best in the universe...let's best honest shall we? Joe was as cool as ever naturally and I relish the day when I can go again and witness it in person.....You just have not lived untill you see and hear him when he really cuts loose in the flesh with the sound of real Guitar speakers and a Fat venue in which to see it up close.

Stevee T, thanks for checking out Blossom amigo, glad to hear you liked it!

Also, re. your comment on Delfino's new tune - "kinda like an Evil Pink Panther" - haha, spot on, I agree!

Delfino, I'm diggin' the new tune bro.....I like the sophisticated mix of genres in your stuff, it's not just "electronica with some guitar", it's more "electronica and solid grooves with a fine blend of guitar and synth instruments". Good stuff.
Satriella, thanks for checking out the new tune! "jester/airhead in there...cool" - ah wicked, I hadn't made the link myself but you're absolutely right!

Also yeah that's cool, I can make a CD for you before summer lands!

for anyone else who's interested or missed it or whatever, feel free to check out my new tune, "Blossom", here!

Still no Dublin date Joe!!! What's going on? First we have to wait about 5 weeks after everyone else before we get Super Colossal in our stores (which is stunning by the way,Ten Words is my fav at the moment), then it looks like we're not going to hear you do the stuff live! Please tell me that you will be coming over this summer, please!!

14 pages behind -

Satriella, try ringing the venue to ask if cameras are allowed, or look at their website. Sometimes it even says on the ticket site where you bought the tickets. I don't know if Jon is going to be able to answer yer question. You could always take a disposable camera, and if it gets taken by security it's not so bad as a real camera.

Welp, I should be fresh as a daisy today after getting less than 5 hours sleep. Hello, my name is Mud. *groan*

I am not sure if Def Leppard is touring the UK - I think they will be in the US this summer - maybe in fall/winter they will tour Europe.

I will listen to ur other songs as well. I wonder one thing. Which drum and music programs do u use? I use Cubase SX , but i need a drum program. Keep going man! On The Highway

Sitting on the side of the highway waiting to catch speeding drivers, a state police officer sees a car puttering along at 22 MPH.

He thinks to himself, "This driver is just as dangerous as a speeder!" So he turns on his lights and pulls the driver over.

Approaching the car, he notices that there are five old ladies, two in the front seat and three in the back with their eyes wide and white as ghosts.

The driver, obviously confused, says to him, "Officer, I don't understand, I was doing exactly the speed limit! What seems to be the problem"?

"Ma'am," the officer replies, "You weren't speeding, but you should know that driving slower than the speed limit can also be a danger to other drivers."

"Slower than the speed limit"? she asked. No sir, I was doing the speed limit exactly. Twenty-two miles an hour!" the old woman says a bit proudly.

The state police officer, trying to contain a chuckle explains to her that "22" was the route number, not the speed limit. A bit embarrassed, the woman grinned and thanked the officer for pointing out her error.

"But before I let you go, ma'am, I have to ask, is everyone in this car ok? These women seem awfully shaken and they haven't muttered a single peep this whole time," the officer said.

"Oh, they'll be alright in a minute, officer. We just got off route 101."

Hello Maestro Satriani,

I have a rather odd question(I say odd because of your extensive work schedule). I was wandering if you taught privately or in master classes? I wanted to know if perhaps you would teach me. I practice day and night. I recently played The Grand Solo by Sor for Pepe Romero, but I have been trying to build my electric technique. I know your very busy. Thank you so much for your time. I just had to ask. I am a big fan too!!

Chris M.

Ps. Sorry for calling myself grandsoloist. I was so happy when I learned it. Hardly a grandsoloist, but maybe one day if I work hard

JBlaze - nice to hear from you bro...
as usual with me..
life is confusing but fun..

how's you bro..

OCPS - Buzzards is for Zen's Bird Symphony project...

I can't make music unless something dreadful happens in it... lmao...

so this is as close to pastorale tranquility as I get... lmao..

Satriella - I think the radio series still blows all of the other versions of Hitchikers away.... by far too....

so you really are a hoopy frood that knows where your towell is then..

Zen - I see a big animal.. something like a buffalo or bison...

there is a nice little story board for this too...

Joe - Hey Hey. God Bless You and stay safe!

OCPS470 - Boston - YEAH BUDDY! - Tom Scholtz' "Rockman" was an innovation that today is surpassed but he started the revolution, for sure! The new Boston is different stuff - Lady singers, Heavier sound..... If you've never checked out Boston's stuff from 94 to present, it's very under-rated and well worth listening to. Now, granted you don't have Brad Delp singing but it's still very special. I have certain groups like that which stay special, because I don't listen to them like Edward or Satch. Boston is one of those - so is Kansas - so is Yes. Asia, Mike & The Mechanics - all kind of fit into that same realm. I'd love to say Styx. DeYoung's voice though - as great as it is I can only take so much of it. God love him! He's great and "Desert Moon" is one of the best songs - which he did solo. Thanks for recognizing my point OCPS470! I feel like I'm talking to an R2 unit ! ! ! I'm kidding :}

Growler - what WAS that show with Simmons and the kids? That sounds cool as $h17 man! Romanowski - wow - I think I still have a 1986, Penn State 26 Boston College 14 game taped to this day! He was a MONSTER ! In college it was more obvious because the others weren't nowhere NEAR that guy! I'll never forget when he shattered that dudes optical orbital bone a few years back for pissing him off! That was a display! I would have LOVED to have been a fly on that wall! The drink sounds AWESOME! You know where I can score some? I am serious!

The Vai drummer - Jeremy Colson.... Dude can FLY! He is so good it's unreal - did you see G3 Tokyo 2005 yet? WOAH! The first Steve Vai song, The Audience Is Listening, the guy just BLOWS! I mean I haven't seen many attack the drums like that. Maybe Alex VH, Maybe Eric Carr, but probably not. Phil Collins is probably the guy he stives to play like. I'm not a drummer - if I were a drummer thats who I'd try to attack them like, but.... He is so solid and seems to have this endless reservoir of energy! Tattooed galore.

Break - reminder - There's a good tune - Red Dragon Tattoo by Fountains of Wayne - do you know it? It was in Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital after it was already a hit but - I had to mention it.

Satriella - OMG it is Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey - you're right! I have the cassettes of the 1 & 2 B&T and I have the soundrack cassette of Wayne's World. What can I say? The tequila was talking for me...I think...er no it wasn't...yeah it was... They say drinking affects a person's decision making. They may be right - I can't decide.

HARVO - Two military officials approach Junior Bush while he's sitting at his desk. One official says: Mr. President, three Brazillian soldiers were killed in Iraq today. Shaking his head, Junior Bush lowers his face into his hands and just pauses, for quite a while. The same offical says: Sir, what's the matter? Can we help? Junior Bush says: I'm really sorry to hear that. How many is a brazillian anyway?

THANKS BUD! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!! HOLY TOLEDO
