Hey Joe Where you going with that axe in your hand? Are you comming to Dallas anytime soon? I heard your going to get a grammy for this one! That's pretty cool! One questlon just for my records, do you exacute so well that your mind follows? or do your fingers follow the mind? I'm some what of a guitar player too, and I have done both but I wonderd if the best instrument is still your mind or is it truly a physical instrument? Silly questions I know but I'm just interested in your answer? Thanks for making all of this so available I feel conected and that's cool! Thanks, from a Big Fan, Zoma5150

Dear Joe,
My name is Jamie and I'm an 18 yrd old attending San Jose State here in California. Well, to get to the point, I want to eventually work on your albums in the same studio you record. This isn't a wild dream from a desperate fan, I am quite serious. Working in a studio, mixing, engineering, mastering, even live mixing; these are my career aspirations. It's what I want to do. I plan on transferring after a couple more semesters to Expression College of Digital Arts in Emeryville for their sound arts degree, perhaps you've heard of this school.
So maybe when I graduate (I'd say in around 3 years), there might be a position available or even just a possibility to intern at the studio you record in. Which brings me to my next question: Where do you record? I've done some homework and saw that you did some recording at The Plant Studios in Sausalito. I actually visited the place, and it was quite an experience to be at a studio where you recorded at. But on Super Colossal I saw that you recorded elsewhere. So I was just curious if there is a main studio you like to go to or if it just changes over the years.
In conclusion, I'll just leave it at: I WOULD LOVE TO WORK IN THE STUDIO FOR YOU! While you work on that :P , I would just greatly appreciate any advice or comments on the recording industry or just ANYTHING really. Thank you so much if you read this, and I hope you can work something out for me in the future. If you like to make fans' wishes come true, then you would do this for me..... no peer pressure!! *I'm pulling your leg* ... but seriously think about it. : )
P.S. Super Colossal was ubber cool and I will hopefully see you at the Warfield in May.
Best wishes, Jamie Branquinho Hollister, CA blindsidejamie@msn.com

LILGUITAR If you check these posts, let me know where you stay bruddah? I'm up in Kalama Valley.
962 2 thumbs up on all your tracks man. I LIKE IT! Blossom is fuzzy and funky, just the way I like it. Good all the way thru. There's alot of talent on this site. Keep it up bro.
5150_ALIEN Romo could really put the HURTS on people couldnt he? This is a guy who lived to hit hard and when its in your blood either your shoulders or head has got to give. With him it was both. Anyway, the supplement is EXPENSIVE. It is called Neuropath and you can find it at pureromonutrition.com. This stuff is unreal and too potent for me. I use about 1/3 the suggested dose and I'm smoking dude! Also at this expo was an older NFL guard who played for the Packers and coached special teams for UH. John Wilbur. This guy had pictures of a ton of college and pro players. He gave me this picture of the pit in what looks to be a trap, and old Wilbur is cutting Manny Fernandez of the Dolphins at the knees! It is so cool! At the top he writes. This guy Manny needs rehab. He was about 2 booths down from Romo and he was afraid to go over there to get a drink of the juice! He was afraid of Romo! Is that funny or what? Romo is very mellow now. He's lost alot of weight. I think he runs too much. But my wife thought he was awesome! I said "never mind!"
Still no word from Colson. I'm not going to hold my breath on this one. If we hook up fine, if not, what can you do? Its a long shot as I see it. I agree though, this guy is an animal. He must be on Neuropath buddy. Well, got to go. GROWLOUT..................

I know you've it so many times but that was such a good show at SAN DIEGO! My buddy and i were all overCrowd Chant! SO GOOD! I still can't believe how i LUCKED OUT to MEET YOU after the show! Its too bad i was too shookin up to really say anything.
My buddy had to sit outside the venue and wait. I felt so bad so i gave him YOUR PICK that i got from your ROADIE. But it was awsome meeting you.
The first song i heard of you was "CRUSHING DAY" and i was 9 YEARS OLD and i thought you're music was so insane! Is it true that you are SELF TAUGHT?
YO you should have busted out your FLAME GUITAR for "The MYSTICAL POTATO HEAD GROOVE THING" haha it was way sweet anyway. That song has such a sweet melody. How long did it take you to get that muting/tapping part down?
I know you get sent A TON of messages so i'll be way lucky and happy if you're able to read this. PEACE

Hey again-
How do you get such a sweet high pitch harmonic sound when you're using the wammy bar? are you picking it with your guitar pick?
what was your first guitar? And how did you get hooked up to start getting customized guitars
how did Steve Vai and Kirk Hammet get hooked up with lessons from you? Did they start from scratch?
how about i get a lesson??? hahaha worth a shot to ask eh
how old were you when you started playing guitar?

Suzie, aww thanks for checking out Blossom, it's great to hear you're really enjoying it! Please can you re-post your soundclick link - I was going to download your mp3 yesterday but couldn't 'cause it takes 24 hours to clear before an mp3 is downloadable! :-D
GROWLER, thanks for checking out the new tune bro, and thanks for your good feedback! Yeah I can definitely dig something funky, the main drum loop I used for Blossom was one called "hip-hop", haha, and the filtered one for the other parts was called "funky" I think. Anyway, I love breakbeats.....check out the FAT breakbeat on Joe's Hill Groove! Awesome!
Satriella, "ssshh don't tell anyone"...hehe that's hilarious!

Hello!!! WOw!! Just came back from Joe's concert at the Wiltern in Los Angeles!!!! Eric Johnson is amazing!! Then came Joe. OH MY God!!!! Joes plays better everyday!!!!!!!! I just cant believe how much emotion comes out of that guitar when he plays it. It was unbelievable.
Then, believe it or not, Joe did Crowd Chant, that rocked the house. So Joe says, are ready for a jam? So everybody thought, "Well Eric Johnson will play a song or two. So Joe says this is like G3 but with a guitar player missing. So He says, "Please welcome...on guitar Mr. Steve Vai!" The whole place went nuts!!! They did, Going Down, and Red House, I can not believe we got to see Eric Johnsons, Joe Satriani, and then a little taste of the original G3. The concert started at 8 pm sharp finished at midnight almost. It was overwhelming. I have to say it again....Joe is an amazing composer, and performer. Great show!!!!!!!!!
