Portland Folks
There seems to be a bit of confusion. The meet and greet at Kell's is us only. It is a chance for us to meet and put faces to the names and sometimes names to the names. I'm soory for the confusion and I hope that you will still come out especially since I'm going to be there and I'm a pretty good geetar player myself. :)
I am going to get there around 5PM have a couple then walk to the venue.

Hey Joe, First off i would like to let you know that IMO i think that you are the greatest guitarist to ever grace this earth. I don't know how much this will do but, If you could, it would be really awesome if you came to Utah, my dream is to see you live. Just a suggestion, i know your really busy and all but i know tones of people that would love to see you live including me.
So yeah if you have any spare time or you could fit a tour date in you should come to Utah.

Joe,
A brief question about fitness: what do you do to take care of your hands when playing such long sets? I was curious about your take on such things, as well as your views on general fitness. Players such as George Lynch, Alex Lifeson, Zaak Wylde, and others are very much involved in weight training (or so I've heard): do you have a specific interest that helps you to stay healthy, and how do you balance this with playing and life externalities (family, business, other hobbies)?
Great show in Atlanta, btw; your shows are always of the highest caliber and never a disappointment.
Be well, and please never stop the creativity. :)

Hey Joe, I'm bringing my nephew (18) to your Sat 5/13 show in S.F. Kids got to see some magic. Also, how about Neil Schon and Ronnie Montrose for the next G3 tour. Like a Bay Area Trio. Love your stuff. Sean

Good Afternoon Satchland
Man am I sore. I worked in the yard all weekend, just banner weather in Chicago. My body is pissed off at my brain. You see my brain still thinks like a twenty year old but my body knows I'm pushin' fifty. So I'm tired, wore out and sore...lol.... But man the yard looks great....lol......The price you pay.
OCPS470...... Nice tune. Love the ideas and your guitar sounds. Very nice.
Satriella..... How are you? I'm doing good. We're auditioning another bassist tomorrow. Man I wish I was gigin'. Still pisses me off he left us hanging with 5 gigs. Oh well, shit happens for a reason and always for the best. Hugs.
Zenfish.....Ben' workin' on my tune for the T2J simphony. It's a little over 4 min. Is this to long? Thanks.
Mari......Nice body paint. Thanks for those. Some interesting paint jobs eh?
Have A GReat Day Everyone ! ! ! !

A few days ago you wrote…
... ’Joe means a lot to me, but he owes me nothing’...
...well said… Joe’s music give me a sparkle in my eye… ’the’ bounce in my step… a feeling of righteousness…
I owe Joe Satriani everything ! ! !... he is my life! ! !... This is how I draw my power, through Joe’s music!...

I saw the show Saturday night at the Wiltern in LA. That was such a great show. Then to top it of there was a G3 at the end with Satriani, Vai, and Johnson. Thanks to Joe for some great memories and inspiration. See you next time around!!

Satriella-
Yes, I am still bouncing (like Tigger) around on Cool Cloud #9.
The post-Joe depression hasn't set in and I'm hoping it don't!
Toneseeker-
I hear you on the Chromeboy! Those old goldtops are an old soft spot for me.. a black beauty would be a nice add too. Let me know what works with your JS100 pickup upgrade. I was thinking of adding a Joe PAF or Fred too. The stock PU's are not as junk as most, but I'd like some better tone. For $60 each the add-on DiMarzios are a no-brainer. Let us all know
how that works out, please!
Cheetos-
Trust me, as soon as you walk into the venue you won't feel anything but GOOD! :-) Hope you feel better!
Mikesb-
Thanks for sharing the Tommy Bolin release info. I will CIO!
Gotta-
Tina, come get some ham!
Unrealistic Expectations-
What kind of unbelievable teen (or otherwise) angst can lead some humans to think that Joe has the time to audition their tunes and reply back to critique them when he barely has time to take a crap? Geez whiz! Give the guy a break! If he's not playing he's traveling and hardly gets to eat or sleep. Let's all just send out positive vibes and pray that Joe and the band can complete this grueling tour without illness or injury. O K ??
