(edit: Anyone trying this should keep in mind that you DO really need to be careful when it comes to stretching any muscles especially the ones in your playing arm/hand. MASSAGE your arm before to make it flexable to avoid possible injury. Thanks for being careful! Sorry K once again :( )
If it feels weird you should stop for a while and warm back up again. In between it's good to give your arm a massage. The part between your wrist and elbow.
Also you should try stretching your hand backwards...like this:
1. Straighten your hand and hold your arm upright from the elbow up (KEEP IT RELAXED!!! I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!),
2. (remember to keep it relaxed) Now pull your hand backwards slowly with your other hand, bending it at the wrist. Feel it stretching? Feels good? :) IF YOU FEEL ANY PAIN STOP IMMEDIATELY!!! This should not be painful!!!
3. Now grab hold of your playing hand thumb!!! In the same way pull it backwards until you feel a slight stretch!!!
4. Massage the arm again and repeat if you like it. Then warm back up again.
I heard this is a warm up routine practiced by John Petrucci of Dream Theater. I do it between every exercise I do and it really works. Makes me feel like a pro haha... like a pro athlete.. haha. Try it but remember:
DON'T HURT YOURSELF! DON'T OVERSTRETCH! IF YOU FEEL ANY PAIN S.T.O.P. IMMEDIATELY!!!
Hope this helps! Be careful!

CroNumber9...... Thanks for the Blues links. I loved them all and especially like the Still Got The Blues For You vid with Gary Moore and the great Phill Lynott. I did a You Tube search for Parisenne Walkways one of my all time favs and it was great. Our band does Pretty woman,Walkin' By Myself and we were learning Still.....and Parisenne when the bassist walked out. Anyway, thanks those were cool videos If you like Blues/Rock check out our media page. Thanks again.

CroNumber 9..... Thanks for checkin' our site. That whole Thin Lizzy circle was great....Gary Moore, Phil and Scott Gorman. What ever happened to him? The Jail Break CD is a classic. I loved the harmony guitars in" Wild One " another Lizzy classic.
Mikesb..... Do you know what happened to Scott Gorman? Just curious now that I'm thinkin' about Thin Lizzy.

Keniko - Scott Gorham is dividing his time playing with John Sykes (also ex-Lizzy) under the Thin Lizzy name doing all the classic material and his own band, 21 Guns.
He made a brief appearance at the Tribute To Phil Lynott concert in Dublin last year and played Black Rose, Cowboy Song and The Boys are Back In Town with Gary Moore. It's available on Dvd if you'd like to check it out.
You can keep up to date with Scott on thinlizzylive.com.
