Joe, I saw you at Humprhey's in SD last night - You were fantastic!!! Better than ever, just smoking!!!!! The soundman sucked, however. Please tell them when you play there that the guitar should be audible over the bass...just an FYI. It was very hard (nearly impossible at times) to hear Eric, too.
Here's a thought for your next G3 tour - Paul Gilbert!!! A great player with a wacky sense of humor, too.
Mike.

Hi,
I posted a message a few days back.as I was eagerly browsing through the site to see if you had replied( Like 300 million people out there). I felt lost.( Like 300 million people out there). Felt a sense of despair that I was losing the true essence of Joe Sat through all this. I was trying to wind my way through a myriad of complicated screens, but my entire being was filled with 1 very simple thing..Your music...The way you can weave the most complex of your melodies into this singular , simple , melodic strand of beauty...
Your melodies have become an infinitessmal part of my life.
Pray that we hear Strange Beautiful Music from you..till the end of time.
Regards,
Avi.

Mr. Joe!
Can not believe - one more European date published - Jul 3d in Strasbourg, FR. That's about 15 min from my place! And I already bought tickets for concert on the 6th in Paris... and booked vacation day... Murphy's law... :-)
AAAAAA!!!! BUM! BUM! BUM! (Head on the desk)... LOL LOL Anyway...
Joe, I posted message few months ago saying that Strasbourg is nice place to come over but could not even hope that you'll take it that serious. :-)) If you haven't been in yet, make sure you've booked few hours for sightseeing walk through the old city. At least look at the cathedral and ask to take you on the bridge at Petite France.
Probably the best hotel to stay in is Regent Petite France (there is Hilton and Holiday Inn just next door to the venue and probably more comfortable but Regent PF is in the heart of the old city).
Good good. Need to run now.
Cheers,
R3TR

Blue_Moon, Webmaster,
It looks interesting: normally any kind of tours/concerts tickets available, for instance, from www.getgo.de
However, for Joe's dates in DE Saarbrucken 25.06 is listed but Ulm does not.
Cheers,
R3TR.

962, thanks for the info on the JS100 pots. I think I'll just install FRED and Joe without changing the capacitors, or installing a high pass filter for now. I'll live without it for now on the JS100. I mainly use the JS1200 anyway but still enjoy the neck on the JS100.
tulsachops, the '68 Goldtop was my first electric guitar. I bought it back in '78 from a session musician. I don't think I'd ever let her go, unless... maybe for a Chromeboy.
Keniko, I have both a JS1200 and JS100. When I figure out how to post a pic I'll upload some comparision shots. They are both JS guitars but there are few similarities in look feel and playability. The first thing you notice, as 962 mentioned, is the body shape. The JS1200 has a sharper appearance. The horns seem a bit thinner, slimmer. The sanding seems more precise. The neck differences are obvious. The multi-radius Prestige JS neck on the 1200 is just a better neck. The biggest difference in playability is in the bridge. My JS100 has an Edge-Pro II which is far inferior to the Edge-Pro on my JS1200. The whammy bar on the EP-II has a loose feel to it and is no where as precise as the EP. Also it does not stay in position so it will always give way to gravity. I hear there is a fix that can be done to the Whammy bar. I might give it a try one day. The JS100 is still a very nice axe. I just wish Ibanez would produce the JS1000/1200 series with the same paint job as the JS100TR. I dig the transparent finishes. I'd love to have a JS1000BTB.
Does anyone know what that metalic blue guitar is that Joe pays on the Live in SF DVD. It looks like a BTB but some times it looks like a more metalic trans finish. Maybe it's a customer paint job. It's stunning!

Mahavishnu - I agree, Andy Timmons for G3. "Cry For You" is his signature song; I never get tired of listening to his music. Just like Joe's albums, even after a decade, the tunes are still fresh!
