Hi all,

I've just received the "Joe Satriani Guitar Secrets" and "Jamming with Joe Satriani" books from Amazon.

I just read the first one and that thing is awesome. Joe really explains a lot of his technique and if you follow that you'd probably be playing much better really fast. I haven't done all the exercises in there but just by reading them you are able to get the idea. I advise it to everyone who likes Joe's technique.

Just to share, most of you probably already know about it...

Cheers, VP

Rubina....has got to be Joe's most beautiful song.

all his songs really are beauitful......and his "emtional" ones like, A Love Eternal, Ten Words, Love Thing, etc..... are VERY beauitful, but i really think that Rubina is the most beauitful because of all the 'emtions' and 'words' in the song.

I know theres no words in the song, but when you listen to it, you can almost hear words.

to me its like Joe is telling me how much he loves his wife and how wonderful and amazing and beautiful she is to him.

Thank you Joe for making the most beauitful music i have ever heard!

sorry.....i just had to stop in and say that, im listenin to Rubina right now and this wave of love/lonelyness/emtions (haha) came washing over me.

Hey Webmaster, I saw the April 13th show at Nokia Theater in N.Y.C. I had the platinum tickets. Where are the pictures that were taken with the "Super" guitar and Satch?!! Having your picture taken with the BEST GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WORLD is a picture I want to show every one. (Guitar players or not). How long does it take to get them?

I'm skimming posts 'cause I'm too busy to keep up lately so sorry if I miss anything important.

Captain Steve, what's with calling me "369"? I have yet to find time to write a proper review of Andy's album but I will do it, so for now I'll just tell you that it is absolutely bloody fantastic.
OCPS470, cool dude, I've saved the String Theory site to my favourites so I'll have a go at checking out the new track later (I have to go and work in a little while)! If I have no luck I'll probably ask you to e-mail it to me but I usually have no luck with downloading e-mail attachments!
Snoopdave2000, that's a pretty sound wishlist for G3, though I'd wipe Tom Morello and replace him with Jennifer Batten, she'd be much more ineteresting, and she's also up to the task of playing at Joe and Vai's level.
alexandre, I don't see how the next G3 can feature anyone other than Andy Timmons, unless, of course, Joe and Steve are cautious of being put in the shade! hehe.

Andy's playing and tone and sound and writing and everything else is just divine.....he says he's working on bringing the next tour to europe so make sure you go see him if he does!

ovation1, haha, That Was Then... is a compilation of songs off the Ear X-Tacy and Ear X-Tacy II albums, plus new bonus tracks, so there's nothing there from The Spoken And The Unspoken, which is a shame 'cause it's one of the best albums in my entire collection. It must be heard bro!
Blue Moon, where are you stuck, and is it just the first Splinter Cell game?
