People are only human and sometimes get angry and/or rude. Deliberately trying to upset another person for no other reason than some sort of perverted pleasure, now THAT I don't like!

Just caught a really interesting show about UFO sightings. Did you guys realise that all recorded UFO sightings happened after World War 2? You never hear about em in history lessons do ya? You don't read things like Issac Newton probed by aliens !!! Also this programme states that the Germans during the war started to experiment with flying saucer technology.

After the war the scientists that were involved with this project went to work for the Russians and some went to the US. One of the ex-directors of Bell aircraft admited that Bell are working on a project that involves flying saucer technology and he states that the US government use Aliens to cover it up. Also another point he made was that most of the sightings have been in sensitive military areas and that they are experimenting with ideas 50 years in advance of flying technology we have now.

I don't believe we are alone in the universe but it makes you think don't it. I take a leaf out of Douglas Adams's book The hitch hikers guide to the galaxy and Red Dwarf / If you were an advanced race of intelligent beings capable of travelling faster than light would you visit Earth?!!

Heres a question that'll get the grey matter going .....

When did World War 2 end ? (Its not the obvious either. I'll answer it in a couple of days)

I've noticed a few people speculating about the song title Ten Words. Could the inspiration forTen Words be The cornflake sketch off the Young Ones?

Vivian: I've enterd the cornflakes competition to win the new Ford Tipex. You have to say in ten words what cornflakes mean to you and I've put Cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes.

Rik: You'll never win anyway there's only nine words !!

I suppose your two obvious answers are:

Germany signs official surrender of Germany on 08 May 1945.

Japan MacArthur accepts surrender of Japan on 02 September 1945.

Some years ago I recall that there was a country that was in theory still at war with Britain because they had never had an official peace signing. I don't remember any peace accords since so maybe the war is still officially on!

I await enlightenment!

Hey Joe!!

Just wanted to say that I love the new album, especially “redshift riders” and “a cool new way” awesome!

Am looking forward to seeing you live in my home town of Bournemouth in the UK on the 21.06.06.

Anyway let me tell you about my guitar! I bought a standard JS 1000 and striped it down and have had it sprayed by a cool air brush artist in the style of your Donnie F design, I have always loved that guitar since I was a kid, am now 25 have a pretty cool copy! I brought it to your last gig in Bournemouth hoping that you might sign it for me, unfortunately I could not get past security. Was wondering if you would sign it this time around?

Would be cool to say hi, maybe you will be on the beach before the gig like last time?

Cheers, looking forward to the gig…

Loz

You are on fire (at least you were in your recent posts). I have no problem about immigration - just go by the books - just like if I wanted to move to another country and become a citizen. Personally I wouldn't sneak into another country and expect certain privileges/rights.

Yes - my relatives immigrated here in the early 1900's.

Most of the time you give me the impression of being psychedelic but on this occasion i'll amend that to psychic. I thought I remembered that song from the late sixties but couldn't place it, you gave the answer!

Hi Joe,

my name is Gustavo Amaral. I live in Brasil and I am starting to study eletric guitar. I´m still a beginner but I´ll never stop playing. Music it´s thing that I like the most, specially eletric guitar. Unfortunatelly, I´ve started to old, with 28 years. But it´s ok... I won´t give up.

I´m a big fan of you and your music. You play very very well and I like a lot your songs. Surfing with the Alien is one of my favorites. I got a very indecent proposal to make to you. Considering you have a large number of guitars and your signature model is so much expensive for me, mostly here in Brasil, what about giving me one of them, just one, hehehe?

When the G3 will come to Brasil?? It would be amazing to see you, Steve Vai and the others playing here!!!!!!!

Congratulations!!! Your job for the music is very important!!!

It is never to old to get hot

Husband: Oh, come on.

Wife: Leave me alone!

Husband: It won't take long.

Wife: I won't be able to sleep afterwards.

Husband: I can't sleep without it.

Wife: Why do you think of things like this in the middle of the night?

Husband: Because I'm Hot.

Wife: You get hot at the darnedest times.

Husband: If you love me I wouldn't have to beg you.

Wife: If you love me you'd be more considerate.

Husband: You don't love me anymore.

Wife: Yes I do, but let's forget it for tonight.

Husband: Please...come on

Wife: Alright, I'll do it.

Husband: What's the matter? Need a flashlight?

Wife: I can't find it.

Husband: Oh, for heaven's sake, feel for it!

Wife: There! Are you satisfied?

Husband: Oh, yes.

Wife: Is it up far enough?

Husband: Oh, that's good.

Wife: Now go to bed and from now on when you want the window open, do it yourself.

962: Thanks for suffering through checking it out haah! Sorry about that. Maybe I'll consider adding some fills around the organ melodies...I was kind of going back and forth on that. Btw, the guitars, organ, and rhodes sounds wee all run through the JSX. I'm real happy with what the amp did tonally for my track!

DCK: Thanks man. I don't want to seem like I'm whining haah! Music doesn't owe me (or anyone else for that matter) anything. There are tons of great guitar players, and I've still got lots of dues to pay. Lots haha!

A Bear Story

A priest, a Pentecostal preacher and a Rabbi all served as chaplains to the students of Northern Michigan University in Marquette.

They would get together two or three times a week for coffee and to talk shop.

One day, someone made the comment that preaching to people isn't really all that hard. A real challenge would be to preach to a bear.

One thing led to another and they decided to do an experiment They would all go out into the woods, find a bear, preach to it, and attempt to convert it.

Seven days later, they're all together to discuss the experience.

Father Flannery, who has his arm in a sling, is on crutches, and has various bandages, goes first."Well," he says, "I went into the woods to find me a bear. And when I found him I began to read to him from the Catechism Well, that bear wanted nothing to do with me and began to slap me around. So I quickly grabbed my holy water, sprinkled him and, Holy Mary Mother of God, he became as gentle a lamb. The bishop is coming out next week to give him first communion and confirmation."

Reverend Billy Bob spoke next. He was in a wheelchair, with an arm and both legs in casts, and an IV drip. In his best fire and brimstone oratory he claimed, " WELL brothers, you KNOW that we don't sprinkle! I went out and I FOUND me a bear. And then I began to read to my bear from God's HOLY WORD! But that bear wanted nothing to do with me. So I took HOLD of him and we began to wrestle. We wrestled down one hill, UP another and DOWN another until we came to a creek. So I quick DUNKED him and BAPTIZED his hairy soul. And just like you said, he became as gentle as a lamb. We spent the rest of the day praising Jesus."

They both looked down at the rabbi, who was lying in a hospital bed. He was in a body cast and traction with IV's and monitors running in and out of him. He was in bad shape.

The rabbi looks up and says, "Looking back on it, circumcision may not have been the best way to start.

I don't know what to make about corporations using charities. Are they genuinley helping good causes or are they doing it to sell more of their product? If they were concerned about a humanitarian cause why don't they donate annonymously? They also get tax relief on donations to charity.
