Joe, please come to Guam. I am a high school teacher here and there a lot of guitar players in my school. There are lots of military here too. Billy Blanks was just here doing some Tae Bo on the Air force and Naval bases. They would all love to see you perform since I told them of one of your concerts that I went to back during the crystal planet tour in Michigan. I have been to a lot of the G3's also before I moved to the Philippines and then here to Guam. I have a JS1000 and JS2000 and I love them both. They are tone machines. I also have the JSX 212 combo and it is awesome!! Got all your straps and picks too. Thanks for the awesome equipment. You are the Michael Jordan of guitar!! Thanks for the inspiration. I have followed all of your lessons in Guitar World, Guitar player, and Guitar one. I have learned so much from your music and I have incorporated your techniques into my own playing although I add my own little signature stuff too. I learned legato, pitch axis, whammy techniques, pinch harmonics, soloing, scales, and chords from you. It is like you were here teaching me but were not here if that makes sense. I met you once in Kalamazoo michigan and you signed one of my JS guitars. You are a nice, humble guy. I hope to see you again here in Guam or in the Philippines. I pray for you and your family daily that God will bless you in everything you do. What are your plans for music in the future? Any new territories you want to explore such as movie soundtracks, collaborations, bands, acoustic album, classical, thrash??? Any signature pedals coming? My little boy is named after you and after Joseph in the Bible because I want him to dream big. Well, God bless and good jamming to all out there.

Hey Joe, You are Super Colossal. I first heard you in 85 or 86 on Jon Gibsons title track song On The Run.I had always wondered who played that guitar.Years later I finally got on track to where it came from.My son and I made it to your Super Colossal CD release. What a night to remember. My son and I got interviewed on the CD release film on your Web.We also were at the meet and greet. My son got the best picture taken with you.He plays guitar and has been inspired greatly by your music and warm personality. We also went to see you play at the Anaheim Grove the other night. My wife is a new fan as well. She loved the concert too.Keep it up.You also make people feel good by being personable and pleasant. In our prayers.God bless You.Robert Jr.,Robert 3rd,& Michelle.

Thanks Satriella.
You don't really have to click on the music links several times. It's just that when you click on a song, it will take a little time for the song to download. Once the song finishes downloading it starts to play. It takes a little bit of time for a song to download because each song is 3 or 4 megabytes in size. The are not streaming, so they don't start playing right away. The whole song has to download before it starts to play.
I'm sorry it scared you when they started playing. You must have the volume turned up really loud. :-)
Thanks on the Green guitar. I just got it. The manufacturer is a company called Carvin. It's really cool because when you order a guitar from them you can custom select nearly everything; the color, type of wood, pickups, bridge, etc.
If you have never heard of Carvin you should check out their web site. They have been in business since the 1940's.
Here's the link: http://www.carvin.com
Even if you are not in the market for a guitar, you should check out their web site. It's really cool.

Satriella,
One more thing. In your last post, you put a link to some artwork on photobucket.com.
Did you draw those pictures yourself?
If so, you are quite an artist. I am very impressed. I love that kind of art. I wish I could draw like that.

Alright peeps, there are two short samples up on the
Hook'd website. They were recorded live at rehearsal so the mix isn't the best. Sorry no solos this time but when we record Summer Song I'll get that up. Thanks.

Joe - We miss you in here but understand how busy you are.....we all look forward to hearing from you again once the tour is finished....thank you so much for coming to see us in the UK!
DCSlater - I got your email - did you get mine? I used the info one, is that right?...anyway in case you didn't ...you do exactly what you like with the picture...it would be an honour and praise indeed to have it on your site...thank you!
Oh and I don't want anything for it, if you like it...that's enough for me!.....I will buy your CD like everyone else...but not till after june! :-D
LoneRocker - Thanks for the explanation and the link...will look at that later...Yes I drew the pictures...send me a cool picture of you and I will draw you too if you like...or if your unlucky...depending on which way you look at it hehe....I would much rather be able to play the guitar like all of you's...its a far better talent to have than drawing...but thank you very much for the compliment.
Oh for heavens sake will someone make time stand still for a while....I have never got enough time....grrrrrr
OK gotta go....see you later
Hugs Satriella xx

This was posted on the sevenstring forum I'm a member of, its a list of game soundtracks that are available for free download/streaming etc...
I recommend the soundtrack to "Toe Jam and Earl: Panic in Funkotron"
Its just simply awesome with some nice slap bass, guitar and organ parts.
Very funky

ovation1, oh cool I get it! haha, now you mention it, yeah, it's kind of lucky that it hasn't turned out sounding too formulaeic! Thanks for the K's bro!
I presume your MW cd still hasn't arrived?
LoneRocker, ooh, do tell us more about your Carvin. I'm really intrigued about their guitars and wish I could have a chance to play one but you just don't see them over here in the UK.
Their amps are marginally easier to find, thanks to Steve Vai, which is why I have one! hehe
Satriella, got it! We're still figuring out what 'the plan' will be for the London show but I'll let you know what we decide to do when the time comes!
edit:
marimariSRV, thanks for forwarding the key west email. There's some cool images there, especially the Pink Floyd Back Catalog, very cool indeed. The very last photo of the collection is just plain freaky though!

Portland Folks
There seems to be a bit of confusion. The meet and greet at Kell's is us only. It is a chance for us to meet and put faces to the names and sometimes names to the names. I'm soory for the confusion and I hope that you will still come out especially since I'm going to be there and I'm a pretty good geetar player myself. :)
I am going to get there around 5PM have a couple then walk to the venue.

Hey Joe, First off i would like to let you know that IMO i think that you are the greatest guitarist to ever grace this earth. I don't know how much this will do but, If you could, it would be really awesome if you came to Utah, my dream is to see you live. Just a suggestion, i know your really busy and all but i know tones of people that would love to see you live including me.
So yeah if you have any spare time or you could fit a tour date in you should come to Utah.

Joe,
A brief question about fitness: what do you do to take care of your hands when playing such long sets? I was curious about your take on such things, as well as your views on general fitness. Players such as George Lynch, Alex Lifeson, Zaak Wylde, and others are very much involved in weight training (or so I've heard): do you have a specific interest that helps you to stay healthy, and how do you balance this with playing and life externalities (family, business, other hobbies)?
Great show in Atlanta, btw; your shows are always of the highest caliber and never a disappointment.
Be well, and please never stop the creativity. :)

Hey Joe, I'm bringing my nephew (18) to your Sat 5/13 show in S.F. Kids got to see some magic. Also, how about Neil Schon and Ronnie Montrose for the next G3 tour. Like a Bay Area Trio. Love your stuff. Sean
