Important Scientific Finding

A South American scientist from Argentina, after a lengthy study, has discovered that people with insufficient brain and sexual activity read their e-mail and the internet with their hand on the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late.

Bahduh: Hey Mark! I sent you an e-mail about ATN and Steven. I hope I explained the things you wanted to know. Try not to be depressed about the info. Steven's a survivor(sp). New music may be up on our links on ATN. Check the bottom of each album page for links to other songs. GOTTAHAVEJOE: Kayla! be quite carefull with your "Paws" when doing new routines on/for the guitar. Do strech out your fingers first, and when your hands start to hurt, give'em a break. I use flexall 454 when I get too aggressive with my practices. Ice can help. Try not to go into a practice session "Cold." Rub your tendons from the wrist to the spaces between your fingers "Gently" between the tendons for a minute or so. Try before and after if needed. Good luck, and remember, if'in' your tense emotionally, you will be physically. KTF Randell

Thanks for all the get-well wishes everyone....I have no idea what I caught, but it's extremely nasty. Ended up in the hospital yesterday, ER, to be hooked up to IV's as I was dehydrated and get some compazine to stop the almost non-stop retching I was doing. The whole time I was in ER, I kept thinking....I should be in Portland right now and I'd prolly be doing _____(I kept filling in the blanks).

That made me sad...this whole thing does...cuz it doesn't look we're going to make any of the three shows now. I think my son is taking this much better than I am, he just wants me to get well...I'M the one who is ticked off!! I can't believe this had to hit right as we were planning on seeing Joe....sux lemons pretty bad.

But, I guess I'm still among the living so should count my blessings.

WEBMASTER, sorry...don't bother looking for us after all...yer prezzie, and Joe and Jeff's prezzies will just have to wait till next time...and that sux too. Dangit.

Yoda - lmao.. I heard about the petrol incident from Luke... lol...
LGS was awesome... Luke and the boys got to scope out the highly sexy Morgan Customs that I was demo-ing..
they are amazing.. sound fabulous, awesome to play, made with rediculous precision... and they are all top drawer bling-woods... you'd love them I know...

they make Ibanez look like cheap toys.. even the J-Customs etc...

anyways.... I'm getting two of them... shwing ! ! ! ! !

shame we didn't meet up though.....
and I had a complimentary ticket lined up for you too......

a little news too.... I now have two 2120's... very cool...

I'm going to mail Luke a link to one of the funniest guitar solos I've ever seen.....
send me your current e-mail address and I'll forward it to you too.. lol..
paulclark@rocketmail.com

I'll call yer some time soon...

ps - you looking for a rhythm player for Recoil??

Hi there Joe,

My name is Mike, I’ve had the opportunity to meet you several times and have been a BIG fan for going on 20 years.

I run Guitar KnowledgeNet which is one of the more popular guitar instruction sites in the world. The site has been going strong now for over two years and has helped thousands of kids and adults but now I want to expand a little and start adding an interview section with several of my favorite guitarist. This is why I’m posting this

I would love it so much if you would agree to give GKN the opportunity of a short interview about your approach to theory and playing in general.

I’m sure before agreeing to this you would want to have someone check out the site. You could also point them to the Feb. 2005 issue of Guitar Techniques that spotlighted GKN. I figure this is a long shot but if you are willing please have someone contact me.

Thanks so much, Mike www.GuitarKnowledgeNet.com

civgeek I seemed to have found a place where I fit in more, one of my favorite guitarists board. As for here, met some cool people, but after getting little to no responses on most posts, just seems like I'm wasting my own time and space. Thanks anyway. Even when I recorded a few songs, only had 3, maybe 4 people who even want to hear them. Who's loss? I'm not sure, and really don't care.

Dear Joe,

This is a serious question but one that many fans will be interested in your view on.

Before I ask, I would just like to state that I own every album you have made and most DVD's, I am a loyal fan and have grown up with your music.

The question is - What is your view as an artist on the MPA's actions against "mysongbook.com" and the desire to stop the distribution of guitar tabs via the internet?. If you are not aware, this site contains some of the best guitar tabs of your music. I personally have learnt massive amounts about guitar playing from using this site, as have millions of your fans who love to play (or 'attempt to play' in my case) your music. For me this is one of the best sites for people learning the guitar and wanting to know how to play an artist's songs. It is used by bands and musicians who gig your music to people who have probably never heard it. Certainly in the UK, you would never hear a Satriani composition on the radio. I myself got into your music from hearing a band play Satch Boogie. The next day the album was bought.

My personal opinion is that the MPA do not fully appreciate how this site effectively markets the artists work through cover bands - the end result being additional CD sales. Their short termist view is to control everything and I totally understand the desire to control the original music itself on CD/Mp3 or DVD. Online Tab represents an opportunity for musicians to learn to play your songs to wider audiences than they could ever be marketed to.

I would be interested to hear your views.

Cel

Hi Joe,

My husband and I saw your show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 6 and I have to say you blew me away (I also liked the way you handled the mishap on Super Colossal)! I was especially happy when you played Circles, which is my #1 favorite song of all time!

I am embarrassed to say that I hadn't seen you live in years, but from my vivid recollection of past shows, you are even better today! I haven't had such a great time at a concert in years! Thanks!

It was sooooooo awesome when you, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai played the closing set! And I have to say to the fans who may have not seen you recently, that the fact that you played a 2 1/2 hour set was the best concert value around! I also like the feature you have on this website where the fans can give their input on the set list!

Can I make a request? I think it would be great to see Alex Skolnick play in the next G3 -and if you can bring back Stu Hamm to play the set as well that would be the best G3 ever! :)

Always a loyal fan,

April :)

Thank you Joe , My wife Kathy and I caught your Vancouver show at the Commodore Ballroom and loved every second of it . We were fortunate enough to get the platinum package and it was well worth it . I have been playing guitar for 32 years and have been greatly influenced by your music since being turned on to it about 15 years ago .This was the first time we've seen you live but will not be the last . The experience of actually getting to meet you and shake your hand was the biggest highlight of my life and I will never forget it . A big thanks to John Iverson for making a dream come true , the encore was absolutely amazing , " Crowd Chant " stage left , say no more ! We also totally enjoyed Eric Johnson and all the rest of the musicians in both bands , the Hendrix was mesmerizing . Thanks again Joe for inspiring me on a whole new level and for being so genuine and taking the time to meet us . Looking forward to your next CD and concert . Randy and Kathy Canning P.S. Bought the JSX ............Love it .

Don't fancy talking too much, there was at least 200 at the hall for the first part of the funeral, it was squashed standing space only, a few nearly fainted in the heat. But it was a lovely talk...they read out a card that Justyn had made for his mum and dad (it was their 25th anniversary the day after he died)....it was quite jokey...a retirement card hehe but he said in it how much he loved them and appreciated all they did for him and that he didn't use the term love lightly he really meant it....it was so nice just like him and the whole family....the cremitorium talk was lovely too...but I have to say I hate the thought of people just being burnt up like that I really do!

Oh after giving them all cuddles we had to shoot off...we just about made it to the wedding house on time....Troy got out put on his flower, I took two photo's and as I left the stretch limo turned up...phew that was close!

Thanks for the thoughts guys!

Awwww Cheese, you are pawly...extra Satrihug for you!

Hugs Satriella xx
