Joe: I have a couple of posters from past concerts (10/31/98 and 12/28/2000) that I would like to have autolgraphed by you. How can I get that to happen? I live in SF so perhaps it could happen while you are at home between tour dates. I would appreciate it. And your recent date at the Warfield was the best I've seen since the taping of "Live in San Francisco." Thanks, Mayadog.

So fablawyer guy and all the other "very frequent posting fans", you all are on here all the time I've noticed. I doubt that you folks have seen Joe more than I have though. VERY SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT! Anyhow, listen, I noticed that the lawyer guy said he saw Uli Jon Roth on the European Tour the other night. Joe's former student standout, and the one he hand picked to take over his teaching duties here in Berkeley California, who was my teacher for 3 very solid years, is on tour with Uli. His name is DOUG DOPPLER. I wanted to know if lawyer guy or anyone else saw Doug play, and if they did, what they thought of his playing. I know he's a great player in the vein of Joe and Steve and that, and he deserved a shot like this for a long, long time. Curious what you all think, so just thought I would drop a line and ask. By the way, if you want to see some cool pictures I took from the front row at the Warfield, go to this link http://s52.photobucket.com/albums/g17/shred4u2000/ I'd really like your opinions as you guys are frequently on the site, and must shred yourselves or just truly appreciate the art form. Thanks, and take care, Anton Shred out........

Again these are replies to some very old posts 40 pages I said…. more like 70 odd pages or so

ZINC MASTER

Your little thing on immigration laws……

1. Didn’t you guys originally come from Europe on the Mayflower? 2. I take it you don’t want Arnold Schwartzeneger in congress? 3. Immigrants are not allowed to steal land from the natives and build railways !!!!!

You think US immigration laws are to relaxed you should come to England. You get put on welfare and they give you a house. The English housing councils think immigrants are more important to look after than UK residents. In Queen Victoria's day the English Empire covered 3 quarters of the globe. Now three quarters of the globe live in England !!

(This is all tongue in cheek of course)

Re: Axl Rose. To right he's a weird geeza to start off with HE'S GINGA !!!!

Re: Moms warnings Make sure you wear clean underpants in case you have an accident… I don't think your underpants would been clean if you were in a near fatal accident !!!!

ZINC/ DAVE ALLEN

If Tony Blair and George Bush formed a comedy duo who would be the straight man ?

SUZIE 2000

Re MR. (B)LIAR . He's just brought the rights to a song for the Labour party's election campaign. It's the old Milwall Football club anthem… No one likes us and we don't care !!!

KENIKO/ZINC

Blame the Germans for David Hasselhoffs music career!!! (don't mention the war). Nostradamus predicted there would be three anti christs the 1st was Napoleon the 2nd was Hitler and the 3rd would be in our generation could it be Hasselhoff or Barry Manilow?! Another point about Nodstradamus predictions where are these people before major events happen? How come we only find out that Nostradamus predicted it after the fact?

ZZBONG

Scott Gorham is still around. He lives in the midlands in the UK and works at a studio I work at. He's recording solo stuff as well as organising the Thin Lizzy reunion.

OCPS

One thing that'll sort out your noise problem for sure is a noise gate.

Just got to the post I made on my birthday and I've still got another 15 pages to get through !!!!!

Thanx ZINC / CAPTAIN STEVE/ CRONUMBER 9/ KENIKO/ STEVEET/ ALEXANDRE/ OVATION 1/ SATRIELLA for your kind regards

CAPTAIN STEVE

SteveeT: ummm....we'll see. I think if he was interested I would have already ben contacted. But that doesn't matter. I also sent one of my demos (full of original stuff and sessions stuff) to the Mike Varney guitarist spotlight that GP has been doing for a year now. I sent that in way in the beginning, and nothing came out of that either, so it doesn't bother me. Obviously there is something they want to hear that isn't in there, so tpp bad haah!

I notice that Joe use to use a couple of 6100 marshall heads, since He is familiar with them I was wondering if he could give me a few answers and helpful advise. I just got one and am really unsure if it is working as it should. The lead channel doesn't seem to have as much gain(distortion) as the crunch channel does is this normal? I also have a TSL and it goes clean (clean a little gain possible ), crunch (mild gain to a fair amount), lead (like the crunch but has a bit more gain). I really expected the 6100 to be similar channel 1 basically clean, channel 2 (Crunch channel) mild to quite a bit or distortion, channel 3 ( Lead channel) capable of same amount of gain (distortion) but just a bit more for hotter leads. But mine doesn't the chrunch channel is the hottest channel. Is this normal? What is a good tone set up for this amp? Any one who is familiar with this amp please feel free to answer Especially Joe

Mike sb, (small brain). Hey listen man, I just looked at the guys letter quickly and thought he was writing from Europe where Doug is currently on tour. So, SO, SORRY it irritated you that I got the location wrong Mr. "Tuba" player. You should go on tour with your Tuba and blow like you do on this site fool. And WOW, I was so impressed with your abbreviated lettering, ie: LMAO2 anus. Yep, you're an intellectual giant and we should all step out of your way. Keep on blowin that tuba, maybe someday you will be a legend in our minds too. Later, you canadian GEEK.

AGSTER I have got to agree with you, SC is Joe's best in my opinion as well. Although I do play the hell out of my G3 dvds and cds. As a bassist I can really appreciate the freedom he gives me on the bass. Not only are his basslines nice and funky, you can do what you are meant to accomplish on the bass and that is enjoy the drummer and lead guitarist! Heartfelt story you told. Thanks for your posting. Dont read any further than this as I have a nasty side to me. Compassionate, yes. But people piss me off sometimes. Especially Canadians!

ANTON SHRED Hey buddy I'm with you. These f..cking Canadians got their heads up their okoles (ass in Hawaiian). We have too many of them vacationing over here and screwing up the island like they own it! Wouldnt you just like to ground and pound this dumb ass tuba boy! MIKESB, why dont you come to the states and take fellow dumb ass Neil Young back home with you. Speaking of immigration, lets get the Candians out of here, not the fine people of Mexico, at least they work for a living. Right on ANTON, dont take any crap from Mr. I've seen Joe more.....Keep hammering away dude!

However, just to keep the story straight. I am for keeping tabs on immigrants to the US. We need to establish legal immigration much like Australia does, only in a milder mannner. It is difficult as hell to live in Australia. Their immigration laws are tight. Really enjoy people from Australia and New Zealand. They love it over here, and we like them.

Interesting fact. Per confirmed evidence from leading DNA researchers and anthropologists from the University of Utah, Cal Berkley, and Boston College, the American Indian originated from Northeast Asia. This has long been known. Also interesting to note that a majority of people living in Utah, where the foremost authority of DNA resides believe that the American Indian originated in Israel! Whats up with that? No, thats a ZZ Top tune.

Where did the Canadians come from? I believe they evolved, or are in the process of doing so. Just having fun........................G making trouble again. I just cant help myself.

ovation1, oh no doubt about it, Andy is a first-class gentleman. It's great, 'cause he has zero ego problem but happens to be the best player at the same time, it's a killer combination, definitely good for a G3!

Hear that Joe? Andy Timmons for next G3 DVD!! Please!

Powerslave, ah wicked, I'd like to have seen that Kings X show, what's Ty Tabor like to watch?
OCPS470, I WISH you would make your mp3's downloadable.....it took forever to stream that, and I only got one listen out of it, grrr! Hehe, anyway dude, it's a cool sounding tune.....am I hearing Octave Fuzz in there?! Lush!

Yeah I thought it was a good track, though would like to have heard more subtle little guitar fills during the organ parts. But it's great, and the tones are nice!
