Fireman Ken - First sorry we missed you at the show. Michelle and I were bummed about it. I didn't get your voice mail until the next day! Anyway, about the monitors. What we do is run two separate chains:
One with the singer's and drummer's monitors. This mix has more lead vocals in it as well as the drummers vocals with the rest of the vocals and guitars in the background.
Then one for the two guitars that has has the guitars and our background vocals up front and the lead vocals in the back. This has worked real well for us. The set up we are using is a Mackie 16 ch passive board and a QSC 2-ch amp. All four monitors are passive.
Hope that helps. Give me a call/email if you have any more questions. I'm not getting to check the board very often these days.

Bahduh - Awwww thanks for the lovely pictures of Jordan.....he is just the most georgeous little person...after mine of course...hehehe
illuminata - Course I read it...I am a bit sad...I read 99% of all the posts....oh do get a life eh!.....I have to say I would rather create music, like most of the people on here...that amazes me!!!! Oh and I don't think Joe would smile at the pictures I've done...I think for the most part he would say "WHAT....that looks nothing like me!" Especially the one I did last night....most disappointed....mind you I was absolutely laughing my socks off at lee evans....that didn't help!
Cosmic Ape - I tried it...wasn't as bad as i thought...but I have to admit to doing kinda half and half.
HrHFish - I bet you were watching it too...oh it was soooo funny!......why is there never a gate no 1....its true isn't it....you do have to walk miles to gate 95!
Captain Steve - I think you took something the wrong way :-)
Hugs Satriella xx

Hey Joe.. I'll agree with Chad Hadley...
Nice Job at Massey Hall... Top Notch all the way...
It was also really awsome to meet you as well...
remember me? Plum Loco used to be my nickname on the site...
I decided to just switch it to my name... actually my true nickname is Bear, it's been my nickname ever since I was a toddler... but someone already has that name on Talk2Joe... aw well...
Again reflecting on the show at Massey Hall in Toronto... great job... better and better everytime I see you live.... keep it real man...
Peace
Bear

On my way to work tonight and I was enjoying ITLIS. I actually have been listening to it for a few nights in a row and I really love this album. Just Look Up is such a positive song. If you don't find happiness listening to this tune you must be dead. I had been listening to SC and just about wore myself out on it and needed a break. It hasn't really left my ears since it's release. It will be cool to listen to it again real soon but I am making an effort ot listen to your other cd's thoroughly as there is always some nuance in your music Joe that you can catch with repeated listens. I find that certain artists like for example Dream Theater allow for this. I would love someday Joe for you to team up with Tony Harnell and record. He is free of TNT now and seems to do some pretty special things wherever he uses his voice. I wonder if you will ever explore a solo project with a vocalist as a part of your artistry? It would be well received I am sure.......heard Crowd Chant watching baseball earlier, very cool.

hey i got a no name sunburst strat a few months i did some work on it and put a fair bit of money and work in to it, i put a couple of seymour duncan quaterounders one normal coil at the neck and one reverse coil in the center, one very interesting humbucker with 24 bars through it but its for a 6 string but sounds very nice and clear. i straightened the neck wich is made out of maple and rosewood, mirror polished the fretts and replaced the old frett dots with 10 mil mother of perl all the way up the neck exept the 12th wich i used 10 mil abalony frett dotts. the whole guitar has also gone through a professional work through. the whole guitar sounds very nice sound. i was wonering, what would you value the guitar at?

You ROCK!!! Great to see you finally on Soundaid. You're welcome. I'm glad I stumbled onto them on soundclick and I'm also glad someone responded to my post.
One of the goals I've set for myself this year is to donate my music there as well. I just need to go record an EP!!! ...and put my music to work A.S.A.P. I'm working on it... I hope all turns out as planed.
To those of you that have an EP's worth of original music or plan to have one soon, click the link above and check it out. Get involved...if you're willing!
Thanks again DC for doing it! You rock!

This is the original post I found on Soundclick:
UNSIGNED ARTISTS: SOUND AID NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Your music can actually help cure world hunger. Did you know that 24,000 people will die today of starvation? Mothers will lose children, children will lose parents, and spouses will lose each other. These are people and families JUST like us!
Now there is a way that you and your music can TRULY make a difference.
There is a new website called Sound Aid ( http://www.soundaid.org) who's goal is to raise funds to battle world hunger. ALL of the proceeds from the site will go to the Heifer Foundation. (http://www.heifer.org)
From the moment that I heard about the Heifer Foundation I was sold on their concept. Funds raised are used to give families a food source rather than short term relief. Instead of a cup of milk the families get a cow, a flock of hens, a goat, or rabbits. This gives them self reliance through a sustainable source of food and income. The female offspring are passed along to other needy families so your gift is a gift that keeps giving.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Please consider donating your music to the cause. All that is needed is four to six songs (enough for an EP). Listeners can then check out your sound clips and download your EP for a $5.00 donation. Just think....your songs could comfort a hungry child for the days to come. Not just one child, but many. So please come by Sound Aid and sign on. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come by the site, listen to some music clips from some GREAT artists, donate and download. Another way you can help is to place our banner on your page for the world to see. Just copy and paste the html code found on our My Space page to your profile. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. One last favor...PLEASE pass this message along to your friends. What a blessing that would be! Together we can heal world hunger one song at a time. Thank you so very much and God bless you.
Love and Peace,
Beth
PS
Music is a gift from God. Please consider using that gift to to give your fellow man the gift of life.

Cap Steve, never met him. But if you want to discover a huge guitar talent, look for Gonçalo Pereira! He's portuguese and he's a great guitar player. If you can't find him, let me know and I'll share some videos of him...
Cheers,
VP
