Kayla, actually I was referring to the two times I've offered to send you tuitional stuff that might help with your playing, but you never responded to the offer, and then I've since seen messages from you saying it's realy hard and you're struggling and you want to quit :-(

Zinc Master, ah ok, thank you! Hmmm, since we're on the subject of cellphones, do you know anything about I Mode? Like, what is it?! hehe
Boogieman75, I love The Forgotten (Part II) and would be so thrilled to hear it played live, along with Hill Groove and If I Could Fly.
Suzie, nicely done, congrats on landing the new job! I landed "lead guitar" role in a local band last night, so it's been a fruitful thursday for us both!
SOTD: Southwest Jam ~ Andy Timmons.

I know mikesb is probably the only other person here who's heard this tune but I promise you it's fabulous. Put Andy in a bluesy mood and tell him to jam for 9 minutes, and, evidently, he'll play the best jam you've ever heard.

Steve Lukather and Larry Carlton on "The Pump", and Paul Gilbert on his Hendrix covers are the only ones who come close...

Clarky - Firstly I've gotta think of a variation of your nickname. Secondly, just had a listen to your sounds through my laptop and would like to download some of your stuff to play through my system via my mp3 player so I can hear it properly. Is this possible or do I have to wait for a CD?

Mr T - Is he or isn't he?! LOL

Serious question for all you lead guitarists - Do you regard drummers as assistance / backing beat or an integral part of the performance?

Best of luck and keep rocking

Steve.

Hello again my great friends, hello Satchland!!!

I had a bad week, i`ve been ill, do you know what it is tonsillitis? I hate that, lots of pains. The weather in Portugal sometimes is strange. Very hot and sometimes change very fast to cold and my throat is not very strong about it. OHHH I´m still alive :-)) (nice Pearl Jam song) !!!

OCPS470 - Good luck about the Jemfest bro :-) !!! You deserve it!!!

ZENFISH - Thank you so much about your words, i wish you the same and btw, Joe rocks :-)) !!!

CLARKY - I`ve been looking for sponsors and i`m a lucky guy, i think that i did a few good deals :-). I need to buy the equipment and i need that support :-)). Congrats about your site :-) !!! Did you see the guestbook? Hope so ;-) !! Regards and good luck!!! If you need a producer to do the mastering your album i have a great guy to do that, not much expensive!

SATRIELLA - Thanks you so much about your concern, i would love to see a new paint :-)). The new Johnny A. is amazing :-)) !!!! Kisses for you and thanks a lot!!!

MARIMARISRV - yeah Sea Eyes, I´ve been busy and ill at the same time. But that´s ok!!! I can see that you are busy as well, always living on the edge :-) !!! Hope soon you recieve something from me :-) !!! Kisses for you Sea Eyes !!!

BAHDUH - Nice to see you around my friend :-) !! Hope you are ok!!!

STEVEE T - hello my friend, how are you? How is the life in NYC? Today the weather was very hot but i have been ill and my house is fresh, very good to the summer time :-) !!! Hope you are ok and take care dear friend, keep rockin`!!!

OVATION1 - Thanks my friend about the V-amp congrats. IT´s a nice machine indeed :-). It`s good to record songs at home but my lead guitar tone is the tone from DIGITECH 2120, more powerfull and clean, but i`ve been trying different things, searching a great tone :-)) !!! Hope you are ok :-). About Blister, check out the new website, very cool. No English version but you can travel in all site. There´s a chest, try to find the code. After that you will see the trailer of Old Friends Video with a funny guy. If you see that i can explain you why all the guys are LOL ;-)) !!! You can see as well all the videoclips until now ;-). Good weekend my friend MIKEYSOON ;-)) !!!! Okinawa rocks :-)) !!!

GUITARMIESTER - You will not believe but i had tickets for the two first days of that Festival in Lisbon. Because i`m ill i miss everything :-(((. I gave my ticket to my producer to see KORN, MOONSPELL, WITHIN TEMPTATION, SOULFLY and many others last night. Today i miss Alice in Chains, Tool, Placebo and many others, what a shame and 50 euros to the garbage :-/, life goes on ;-) !!! Enjoy the ALICE IN CHAINS, i heard the concert on the Radio and Jerry Cantrell is in very good shape :-)). A very nice guitar player and he sings very well :-)) !!! Good luck to the tickets :-) !!!

962 - My friend, Andy Timmons rocks indeed. About Johnny A. i don`t know if i have the luck to see him in Spain. Maybe no open act :-/. But 2 hours of Joe is enough ;-)) !! Good weekend to you my friend :-))!!!

Good weekend friends, all the best :-) !!! Warm regards

Alexandre Caetano

Al..in my very humble opinion .. you should start with the lighter stuff ( always with you...) and build in to the heavier stuff that highlight your legato!!! MX rocks ..put it in the first set list !! RE: drummers..LMFAO!!! lol MT

Any of you Talk2Joers... tried out an original Boss SG-1 Slow Gear Pedal before??? I was just kind of curious on your comments on this rare pedal built in Japan...

it gives you that reverse tape delay effect or so the story goes if you were interested...

Alexandre: Thanks man! I think we'll do well, and I think we'll go over real well. Most of the artists are either the bluesrock/vai satch format with a frontman and a backing band (or track) or a neoclassical type front man thing. We're more of a true band, and we have killer keyboard solos and bass solos. We're going to throw in a new funk tune called "Pocket Monster" and a prog tune called "Drastic Changes." I think this diversity will help us go over well. I'm pretty excited to play! Hopefully the footage that jemfest webcasts will be decent.

Clarky: Sounds like the new guitar will have almost a Steve Morse finish to it? I was wondering about fx and midi....do you know any one that has the skills to convert a non midi controlled tube amp (like a jsx or others) into a midi controlled amp, kind of like the way the triaxis works? It would be pretty cool to have the ability to save an amp setting and be able to recall tons of different settings via midi. I think one of the only amps with this feature is the Carvin V3
