zenfish it is a pretty dark tune... Its based on a real event.. i saw these ravens .. they were about 2 feet tall with furry black heads and bright orange/red beaks.. pecking out the windows of a church..
it was a pretty surreal site.

Hi Joe!
Sherry from Vancouver, BC here! Thanks very much for stopping for the fans before boarding your bus to Portland. Hope you liked the puppet! You might like to know that you and Bryan Adams are the only rock musicians to get one. I met Bryan at my friend, Rachel's house. She is married to songwriter/producer, Jim V., the founder of the Armoury Studio and Bryan's first songwriting partner. I made Jim a puppet (he's a drummer) for his birthday and Bryan had stopped by to do his laundry. After seeing it, he pleaded for one, so eight months later when I thought he deserved one, he received it. That was back in the 80's when he was just starting to make it big. Yours is puppet #25; most have gone to everyday people who have great character both emotionally and physically. You are my first American recipient.
My only regret is that we didn't get to spend a little more time together where you could have done all the unwrapping. The best part for me is seeing the reactions of people. One of your security guards was very sweet and came over to me to say that he thought that was a very cool gift. Puppet receivers react initially quite subdued, then get really excited when everyone else goes crazy and feels envious. That's when I wish I could be a fly on the wall! I'd appreciate hearing about any reactions. I'll send the webmaster some photos too. Thanks!

Journey - it is a neat combo - last year it was Def Leppard and Bryan Adams.
The new Journey lead singer does sound like Steve Perry - I know people who has seen them - said just close your eyes, and you can see Steve singing.

Hi!! I just want to say I have been a fan of your music since I first heard it. I wish I could have gone to your concert in Brazil a few years back but I was sick in bed. Really a pitty. Please come back someday and visit my town (Curitiba). Many thanks to you and your music as you were my inspiration to actually train guitar scales.

Before I go and pay money for the answer to this question on Google Answers (assuming someone can actually answer the question...), nobody knows exactly what the man and kid are saying at the beginning of Flying In A Blue Dream, right?
If not, I'm hoping that maybe some audio forensics technician or somebody like that (Chloe from 24, maybe? :-)) can figure it out from the actual recording. Or, maybe they could find out the exact day it was recorded, then check that against a listing of radio/tv broadcasts at the time, and check the transcripts. It would be cool to know exactly what it's from, too, that sounds like a LOT of work...

Hello Satchland!! How's everyone in the Realme Of Satch tonight?!! I wish you well....
I've returned from my last show of the tour......Exhausted, Happy and Dissapointed at the same time. No Photo Pass for any of my 7 JS shows (not including the Jammy's). I wonder if I'm just wasting my time anymore......... However I had a great time in San Fran visiting with my g/f Lisa whom I met at
EWJS @ the HOB LAS Vegas, that was a good thing. I love California.......I think I'm going to have to Move there in a few years. It feels like home.......
I check out a few pages yesterday. I'll do a longer post tomorrow since 've just been catching up with friends, laundry and endless mail since I returned yesterday. Never again will I do a flight with connections cross country!! That's a story for tomorrow..... Just want to say a few things tonight since it's getting so late now.
Cheese101: Traci, I'm so sorry to hear that you missed both shows!! OMG!! I know the heartbreak you feel, I've felt it too in my Life. It will make the next time that much sweeter!! I was looking for you & Chris at the show. I'm so glad you are feeling better now. I will return to SF for the next JS show, Lord willing. I hope to Rock out with you then!! Hugs to you Traci.....
CaptainSteve: Whiskey Lady? lol...how did I get that name? ;-)I'm more of an Absolute Lady these days but I have to say I've had some fine Whiskey..... Jack Daniels & Coke with Eric Sardinas ( he makes a great drink!) Brandy (it begins with a "C" but I can't spell it) with Pat Travers, Beers with Clarky, Billy Sheehan, Dave weiner, Tony McAlpine In E urope and Absolute Citron & tonic with SteveeT( Ronnie & Mikesb too) in NYC....just to name a few. :-D
WebMaster: Hi Jon!! Sorry I couldn't stick around after the show. My friend Lisa had to wait for me doing the Platinum thingie and she didn't want to go to the show.......I insisted & bought her a ticket. Was a mistake on my part....... I always go to shows by myself so I don't have to answer to anyone, the 1 time I needed to stay I couldn't!! I came such a long way and had such a long trip there and back......Lesson Learned.
she wasn't feeling well and we had to take several Muni's (buses) home. I wish I could've talked to you. It was a shame I was out of the Webcast.... I was standing next to Joe when they came up with the box for the drawing and then the filming began.....didn't know the platimnum members were going to be filmed. There were 5 of us that got missed. :-( Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to be around for the next one... I'm in the photos you took of the crowd as well but the guy in front of me blocked me, he was taking photos all night. Just my luck. I can't wait till NEXT TIME!! I'm ready to ROCK....
Michelle: Welcome Back!

Keniko: Glad you liked em......it's good to laugh. No Photo Passes = No Photos by Mari. I did take a few with my camera phone since t was the last show...they suck, I was closer at most of the other shows wasn't going to take photos with my phone. Ther ewer so many people taking photos with little Digital cameras.......I may have to buy one since that may be my only option to Photograph Joe, shame since I have such great equipment already.
Clarky: Great site!!! Maria did a FANTASTIC JOB!! What's up with the CD?
MaraiNoelle: I'll email you this week sweetie!! Love you!
Suzie2000: I'll talk to you soon Suz.... I miss you guys!!! Love you too! ;-)))
Slanshroom: How's Roy? Is Ronnie coming over soon or has he been there already? I was listening to yur CD tonight.....great stuff Roy, can't wait for more.......
Alexandre: Glad to hear JOe's coming to Madrid!! sounds like you are keeping very busy & having much fun. :-D That's GREAT!! Hugs& Kisses......

Joe's Staff!
The Austin Platinum show pictures did not come out! Please reply to our messages so we can find a way to resolve this issue. No offense to Joe, we all paid good money for excellent seats and a meet and greet. We need to figure out what to do about the pics.
