I'm skimming posts 'cause I'm too busy to keep up lately so sorry if I miss anything important.
Captain Steve, what's with calling me "369"? I have yet to find time to write a proper review of Andy's album but I will do it, so for now I'll just tell you that it is absolutely bloody fantastic.
OCPS470, cool dude, I've saved the String Theory site to my favourites so I'll have a go at checking out the new track later (I have to go and work in a little while)! If I have no luck I'll probably ask you to e-mail it to me but I usually have no luck with downloading e-mail attachments!
Snoopdave2000, that's a pretty sound wishlist for G3, though I'd wipe Tom Morello and replace him with Jennifer Batten, she'd be much more ineteresting, and she's also up to the task of playing at Joe and Vai's level.
alexandre, I don't see how the next G3 can feature anyone other than Andy Timmons, unless, of course, Joe and Steve are cautious of being put in the shade! hehe.
Andy's playing and tone and sound and writing and everything else is just divine.....he says he's working on bringing the next tour to europe so make sure you go see him if he does!
ovation1, haha, That Was Then... is a compilation of songs off the Ear X-Tacy and Ear X-Tacy II albums, plus new bonus tracks, so there's nothing there from The Spoken And The Unspoken, which is a shame 'cause it's one of the best albums in my entire collection. It must be heard bro!
Blue Moon, where are you stuck, and is it just the first Splinter Cell game?

Mr T - Something new from the last I heard of your work? As I said before, I like your git work and would be happy to listen to any latest offerings. What you get from me is an honest, prospective punters opinion (something that Kook fella just couldn't seem to understand). Artistes may liked to be stroked a little sometimes but IMHO 'honesty is the best policy'.
369 - Simes, surely by now you have spotted that I give peeps my own version of their nicknames or indeed make a new one up for them. There's not a lot I can do with 962! No offence intended at all. Peace man. BTW do you think SC represents a progression from ITLIS? I prefer ITLIS myself, having said that, it was the first Joe album I listened to!
Holmes - Still not in chat!
Keep rocking
Steve.

Hey Joe,
You have a great community here...they clearly are enlightened people who love you....feel honored to be among you all....seems like really good folks who understand the purpose of their existence...and your music connects to their inner most feelings....just so lovely... Love this quote of yours Joe, "I'm just inspired by everyday life. I find it very wondrous. There is so much to reflect upon, to write about, to dream about, and to hope for."
Much of life is about perspective...isn't it?...it's not a desert, if you see the treasures in each and every day........
Hi Satriella,
Yes, bliss...you understand......your "voice" is so positive and has powerful energy...congratulations...I saw Joe perform recently and really didn't know what I was about to experience...just brilliant....wonderful evening....a gift!!....Hope you are feeling better...I am sure you will be fine by the the time Joe arrives in June, and be sure of this... when you hear and see Joe play it is almost like a religious experience....creation in its purest richest form...and and and...when you see him "SMILE"...well...pure sugar...He will probably be extra marvelous just knowing his biggest fan is in the audience......enjoy!
Oh, btw...I just realized I bought my last Joe CD at Tower Records in Carle Place...near Joe's old high school.....love the coincidence...hey if anyone is on Long Island...let me know I can give you a tour of Joe's old neighborhood....lol!!!

gruskada seeing as Joe uses those voices every time he plays that track live (and that's probably every single live show he's done for the last 10 years+) I imagine he has a pretty clear uncluttered-by-other-instruments recording of it... maybe we should be asking the man himself ;-)
hope everyone's doing well!

I had the good fortune to see you and the fellas in Omaha, it was incredible. I understand that a DVD of this tour will be out later this year, any date nailed down yet? Also, I know you guys will be pretty tired when the overseas portion of the tour is finished, any chance you'll hit some of the cities that were passed by, i.e. Minneapolis, etc.?....Major pipe-dream on my part but you can hardly blame me for wanting another live dose. Job well done to everyone, take care.

Joe...... Your new CD is awsome. Man I especially like the tunes, "Super Colossal" and "Crowd Chant." In "Crowd Chant," I like the part where the organ comes in. I thought they were beautiful chord changes. I loved the whole CD. Hey Mr. Satriani? I have one question. What do you think makes a good guitarist and a good musician?

PhryDom - true, but Joe has also said he doesn't know exactly what they're saying either (I'm sure he'd love to know), so we'd still need a good audio cleanup tool of some sort. If I get time, and no researcher can answer my "Google Answers" question, maybe I'll just try bringing it into my recording software package, EQ the heck out of it, and see what I can make of it.
As an aside, I finally got around to typing in the 1's and 0's from the back of the white EOC concert t-shirt, hoping there would be a secret binary message, but it just translates to giberish... Now I just need to scan the barcode that's on the shirt as well :-)

Webmaster: Thank you for your wonderful pictures! I told Joe I really like your work......I didn't get a chance to tell you. You ROCK! Thanks for all you do here for us, it's greatly appreciated. Also many thanks for helping me out with the photo pass situation. I bow to you Jon.
Satriella: LOL.... Sooo I look like me huh?!! he-hee Too funny sweetie ;-D I got such a kick outa that. So do you have any photos of you that we might see? I hope some day we can Rock to Joe, Steve or Andy Timmons together...... any great music. That would be very sweet!! ;-) Nice drawings of Joe and Joe & Alex. Just wonderful!
Mikesb/Sir Ronald: Sorry I missed Uli last night. I need to rest up..... serious. Thanks for the AWESOME link on Andy Timmons, he's playing the "That was then, This is now" Album at least the 1st few songs.......OMG, I HAVE TO SEE HIM!! I'll be watching out for him, or he'll be my next road trip...... Guess I can't quit now, it's in my blood. LOL I was Born to Rock! ;-D Hey, why does AT tour Europe & NOT the US?!! :-( BTW: I will post that list of T2J'ers I've met that you've asked me for several times.....I need to add a few more to the list.
Captain Steve: Yes, that would've been Stevee T, I'm going to miss him when he moves away but we've already made plans to see Joe together in his new Local.....can't wait to relax at his pool and listen to him play guitar for me. Hey we can invite Joe!! LOL You are right, I still have HOPE no matter what Bad or Good comes my way. I was just still tired & recovering from the JetLag and disappointment. Sam Tran from foreverjoe.com had sent out another email on Thursday the day I left and I got the news the day of the show.....I wanted to cry but made the best of it anyway. I'd do it again but I'd not make my friend go to the show. Thank you to Sam for sending another email on my behalf. I told Joe that I'd joined up with Sam & his site and we would try to make it even better with amazing images of Joe!! He was thrilled, I told Joe how much I liked WEBMASTER Jon Luini's work, he's quite exceptional!
FablawyerSBM: Aye, things happen...... Nice to hear from you. Sorry I missed you! Hope to see you & Alda soon. We may just have to meet up some weekend, maybe get Stevee to come out and play again.....lol
SteveeT: Happy Birthday!! Wish I was there to celebrate with you..... Damn, I hated to miss that show, now I know I should've been there but I'd probably get sick from exhaustion. Bummer, another time Stevee. Happy Birthday kiss to you! ;-)
Ovation: Thank you so much Mikey. I can't express how much the support from everyone here has meant to me. I thank you all. I really need that rest....I've actually got a great connection in the works.....came from my g'f in SF, her best friend's bro is working for Rolling Stone Magazine. She's going to ask him to speak with me, I need some advice/guidance..........this may be a Golden Opportunity. Yes, I still have HOPE!
Keniko: Thanks Ken. Hugs!! ~Sea Eyes~~
Mattt King: Congrats!! Chris Peter's just IM the news to me.....way to go!!! Awesome dude!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! YOU ROCK MATT!!
Peace.
~mari~~
Night. I'm exhaused. I hope to be back in the ring to take another swing tomorrow.....AC/DC "Shook Me ALL NIght Long". Oh Yeah. ;-D

CRO Hey dude like the ZZ Top links buddy! Gibbons is outstanding on lead, and he makes it so effortless. These guys are technicians and never make a mistake. Our band mostly plays ZZ Top tunes. The Rythmeen cd being the most bluesy and down right nasty. I think it was recorded for a Talentino movie. Love all their cds. A friend of mine from Irving, Texas turned me on to them when I was in high school. Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers brought back memorys of when he broke the world record in the early 70's shot gunning 40 ounces of beer in 4.7 seconds. Dont know if the record still stands, but it was fun. Glad were cool again. I like your style. GROWLER OUT..................
