SLANSHROOM

Only one person thinks he's causing agro on this site. Its all entertainment to me cos after all what can he really do sat at a computer half way around the world ? I've just been playing with the sucka only he don't get it. I actually think it's sad that some people just put others down to make themselves feel better. It takes more than someone just saying something on a forum to really upset me. Lifes to short. Its all just a laugh to me really.

Once again cheers for the links bud cos I do find concpiracies facinating whatever the points of view people take. It amazes me the way different people can interpret an idea. Same on this forum you can make a point about something and some one else will always present you with a new angle on a subject. I find it all intriguing.... :-)

PHRYDOM

Nice one bout the biker meeting the parents....

This couple are in bed. They hear a car pull up in the drive. The girl jumps out of bed.

"Quick hide it's my husband"

Defiant the guy says

" I'm not gonna hide in the cupboard waiting how ever long it takes and end up running half naked down the road in the cold rain. Stuff that for a game of soldiers.Send him up here."

Now starting to really panic the girl says "I cant have my husband find you naked up here, he'll kill you and me."

Still defiant the guy says "I don't care just send him up here."

As she's putting her clothes on "Why?What are you going to do?"

The guy says "Just send him up here and don't worry. Just act as if nothings happened and send him up here."

She goes down stairs and greets her husband as he's coming through the door. "Can you go upstairs to the bedroom there's a man that wants to so you."

The husband goes up to the room and opens the door. He's astonished when he sees a naked man standing on his bed under the light bulb with a butterfly catchers net. The husband shouts

"What the hell dya think you're doing?"

The guy replies "These damn moths !!! "

Heeeey-O!!!! Anything going on here? Just looked at a few recent posts, too many pages to look through since the last time.

MarimariSRV Thank you, you are too nice. I think I heard the Who tribute show is sold out?! If it is, Paul Gilbert better tour the US [cough]east coast[/cough] once he finishes his new CD. If not, I will bug him to no end until he does! Ahh, I'm pretty hungry, wanna finish this post quick... I'll talk to you later.

Satriella Hey!

-I have some (more) recording to do this month. Need to finish Dream Theater's 'As I Am' - I just need to put in a solo, should do that one day this week. Also, going to be recording DT's 'Overture 1928'. Then, finally will be have the time to record my own stuff (more on that to come.)

Listening to Queensryche - Jet City Woman...again, I can listen to it over and over. Might be seeing Queensryche Sept. 23...the night before my B-Day!

Matt King Heard about the article in the magazine, I'll have to check it out... Do you have a band going right now? I live in Toms River, used to live in Brick, moved when I was in 5th grade...graduating high school in 3 weeks! Woooo! I've been trying to get a band going or trying to find one... already tried mooching off Dave Weiner, but he said he's already got a line up...once he plays shows around here, I'm going to see if he'll let me be a special guest for a song or something, maybe he'll change his mind once he hears me. I'll talk to you later, gotta get some lunch.

Joe: Hi and congratulations on another "wrap" on a great North American tour! So glad you included the Warfield, as I noticed it missing from the lineup when it was initially announced earlier about the shows. Nice of you to drop a line for everyone here the other day to that girl asking about the Squares. It would be really cool to be able to check out those days from the past eh?! Anyway, I think it is time for a G3 lineup to include our dear talented friend Doug Doppler isn't it? He certainly deserves it as much or more than the next axe-grinder no? He did a really great, GREAT job taking over for you and teaching all your former students as well as could have been done by anyone else, save yourself. I was priveleged to have been one of his students and benefited from the "Intense Guitar Lessons" he provided. I was even introduced to you by Doug at the original G3 with Steve and Eric, and he was kind enough to tell you and Steve that my friend and I were two of his hardest working students! That was special, Steve was sitting there with Pia in the back corner of some private tent looking very unapproachable, and then he was signing an autograph and talking to my friend and I. Then we got to say hi to you and get your auto, and even caught Eric as he got on the bus. Really Cool! A great moment I'll never forget, and typical of his generous and fantastic personality that was always present at his lessons. You are an ispiration to so many and definitely rewarding to all who inspire you by their hard work. Let's give Doug the shot he deserves in the coming lineups and future shows Joe. He has more than earned the honor and happiness that playing with you and Steve would surely bring to all! Thanks for everything you do for all the people who appreciate great talent and dedication in this special genre that you have brought to the mainstream. Take care and please blow me away with a response Mr. Satriani. Your long, long, longer all time fan, Anthony Lybrand, aka "Anton Shred".

Hey Cosmic Ape, do you have any video of your playing? Just wondering what kind of guitar you play and wanted to check out your "chops" dude. Growler: What's new, and what do you play brand wise? I play Ibanez, have an early jem that I painted a two candy fade on, and an S series 470dxqm, and a Dean flying V. We should have a fan base on photobucket.com of us with our instruments or something, that would be cool. It would be interesting to see the other fans here, and their instruments. How about you Delfino Pie? All for now folks, Anton

CAPTAIN STEVE

I've lost a button hole !!!

I'm not a Cockney I'm from Birmigham originally!!!!

I'm not really a trouble maker I'm a peace loving genuine geeza. Sometimes I like to be the Devil's advocate just for a giggle especially if some ones giving my friends greif. You've heard the expression give em enough rope and they'll hang themselves.

CLARKY

Nice to see you posting again !! Looking forward to the 20th next month. Can't wait to meet you guys in person. Sorry I missed ya at the guitar show I've been swamped with work. If I'd have known about it before hand I would have made the effort to come down to see ya.

KENIKO

How you doin mate? Ain't spoke to you for a while. Have you found a new bass player yet ? Been away for a while working myself. I've just brought a load of camera equipment to set up an earner for myself. I'm going into filming weddings TV reality show style with interviews. Just on the look out for some decent software. Thinking about Avid or Adobe. Its took me the best part of 6 months to save up for the gear. Still teachin as well as working on the rave scene in the UK. Setting this up so I don't have to end up working in a factory or office again!!

SATRIELLA

How you keepin? Why are you quoating ABBA....? Led Zeppelin didn't write songs that everyone likes, they left that to ABBA !! As you can see I've been busy lately and another bank holiday comin up. Only 28 days to go to the Apollo. I'm as excited as a person who's got a very special reson to be excited !! Can't wait to meet ya in person. I'll send you and email soon. I do hope everythings OK with you :-)

What seat are you in at the Apollo? I've heard that you are near me somewhere Row M seat 70 in the rear circle. You know we are all meeting up before the gig. I'll drop you a line closer

CRONUMBER 9

Heard about the added dates and Joes comming to your neck of the woods !! My brothers wife is English/Croatian and one of my best mate's Moms Croatian. There's a big Croatian community in Birmingham. My bro is on about buying a farm in your neck of the woods so yoiu never know I may drop round for some of that Croation Moonshine !!!

ANTON SHRED

This guy has been causing agro with all the T2J crew. He's just spoiling for a fight with people and says things just to provoke people. I've just been playing with the guy cos he started on me for no reason. I just couldn't care less what he thinks cos he never has anything positive to say about the people on this site.

Most of the other T2J crew ignore him but I tried to give the guy a chance cos I think every one has something to bring to the forum. It takes all sorts to make the world. The guy even threatened to get the FBI to shut Joe's web site down like the FBI are gonna give a toss about a musicians web site !! He gets off on putting people down. I may have hit a nerve if he's still ranting about me but I don't care and have moved on. You'll see a lot of don't feed the troll remarks. Well he's the troll !! I don't find it annoying. I find it boring and tiresome. I just blank the guys posts out.Lifes to short.

Good Afternoon Satchland

HrHFish..... What up? Sounds like you've been busy also. So you're going to be filming weddings. That's cool. Digital video is the way to go. You can't go wrong with Avid. Avid is a sister Co. to Digidesign or the other way around ....?.... Yeah, I'm still looking for a bassist and vocalist. We've had some audition and they were good players but we're taking are time to see what comes along. We have an ad in a local paper so we're checkin' out all the possibilities. We have some audition coming up though that sound encouraging. We'll see how it goes. In the mean time I was hired to record a buddies band live so I'm in the middle of mixing. I have the first set done and have two more to do. I'm pretty excided about this project. They're thinking about shooting one of there out door shows and they want me to make a DVD. If that happens I may buy FInal Cut Express. It's alot more stable then iMovie and it's more of a professional program with way more options. Ohh the toys us adults need....lol.... Take Care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Hi Joe, I caught your concert in Los Angeles on May 6 at the Wiltern Theater. I was the African-American woman leaning against the rail just a few feet from the stage, grooving like mad at your extraordinary playing. It was the fourth time I had seen you in concert. What was so cool about it was when you looked over at me while you were playing "Surfing with the Alien" and said to me, "I see you over there," while I was going ballistic with excitement. That comment made my year! I lost an opportunity to meet you back stage because I was unable to make the connection with a woman named "Kiki," whom I had never met, but who assured me through a mutual friend that she would be able to take me back stage. Alas, it didn't happen. But, hey, your acknowlegement of me from the stage was good enough. I have loved intrumental rock guitar for many years. My father is a blues guitarist and I literally listened to the blues while I was in my mother's womb. My maternal grandfather played guitar for the late 30's, early 40's quintet band called The Five Jones Boys. They were featured at times on NBC radio and even closed The Gene Autry Show from time to time. So the guitar is in my blood. Keep up the extraordinary work. Your band is one of the finest bands I have ever heard. I was just below the bassist (at the Wiltern). Let him know that I think he could give bassist extraordinaire Verdeen White of Earth, Wind, and Fire a run for his money (smile). Your music moves me, warms me, turns me on, makes me reflective, makes me dance, and makes me play air guitar like nobody's business! Love ya, Rosalind

Kayla, I just got the new Tool 10,000 Days cd too, and I love it! I dig the drums and the timing in the songs. Cool artwork on the cover too.

Also got the new Rebel Meets Rebel cd (Dimebag, Vinnie, Rex, and DAC), and it's very different, but cool. It's more southern rock than country (cause I don't like country) and has kind of a Skynyrd vibe. It kicks ass too :-)

I'm a mere 1178 posts behind!!

LOVE YA JOE!!!
