Cinderella is now 95 years old.
After a fulfilling life with the now-dead prince, she happily sits on her rocking chair, watching the world go by from her front porch, with a cat named Bob for companionship.
One sunny afternoon out of nowhere, appears her Fairy Godmother. Cinderella says, "Fairy Godmother, what are you doing here after all these years"?
Her Fairy Godmother replies, "Cinderella, you have lived an exemplary life. Is there anything forwhich your heart still yearns?"
Cinderella is taken aback, overjoyed, and after some thoughtful consideration, she utters her first wish:
" The prince was wonderful, but not much of an investor. I'm living hand to mouth on my disability checks, and I wish I were wealthy beyond comprehension." Instantly, her rocking chair turns into solid gold. Cinderella says, "Thank you, Fairy Godmother!"
Her Fairy Godmother replies, "It's the least I can do. What is your second wish?" Cinderella looks down at her frail body, and says, "I wish I were young and full of the beauty and youth I once had." At once, her wish is a reality, and she is young and beautiful again. Cinderella feels stirrings inside her that have been dormant for years.
The fairy godmother speaks once more, "You have one more wish; what shall it be?" Cinderella looks to the frightened cat in the corner and says, "I wish for you to change Bob, my old cat, into a kind and handsome young man." Magically, Bob is suddenly transformed into a man so beautiful the likes
of him neither Cinderella nor the world has ever seen.
The fairy godmother says, "Congratulations, Cinderella, enjoy your new life." With a blazing shock of bright blue electricity, the fairy godmother is gone as suddenly as she has appeared.
For a few eerie moments, Bob and Cinderella look into each other's eyes. Cinderella sits, breathless, gazing at the most beautiful, stunningly perfect man she has ever seen.
Bob walks over to Cinderella, who sits transfixed in her rocking chair. He embraces her close in his young muscular arms. He leans in, blowing her golden hair with his warm breath as he whispers......
"Bet you're sorry you neutered me."

JOE, i was listenin to Starry Night last night and was lookin up at the sky, and i realized that the way you explained it on that interveiw you did in Reno in 03, is the exact way i have always thought of it! I have ALWAYS thought and looked at that song that way. Its so wonderful, and i do that with your other songs to, the ones you explain and when you say how you felt and what you were thinking when you wrote the songs, is exactly the why i think and feel on them. Im not talkin bout like Rubina cause thats your special song to your wife, but i mean all your other songs. Thanks Joe for making such beautiful music! I couldnt get through every day without you! I couldnt even emagine getting through the days with out you! you have been in my life sence i was born. Thank you.

Good morning all. Well, I have been thinking about how different we all are, and how each poster reacts to things said. Growler: I can relate to some of your interests,ie: UFC, weightlifting, physical therapy, and I tend to rip into people sometimes, even overrip occasionaly, but I don't enjoy doing that often, or looking forward to playing with people's heads. I think that you are intelligent, and obviously with a masters in PT, you are a go to guy on any injuries posters may encounter playing any instrument. I think that most of the people here are on an even playing field mentally, the thing is, if I get into it with someone, I'll think about their point of view after I "get off my horse", even if it pains me to do so. So what I'm saying ultimately, is this, I am done leveling insults at anyone I already have, unless they feel the need to throw down at me. I was out of control as a young and early middle ager for a long time, and I like to be mellow with people most of the time now.
I read your old posts, and I noticed you seem to like to "get into it" with some of our pals here. That's cool for you, but I don't like the draining effect it has on me spiritually, even though I'm not into religion persay. I know me and the Captain got into it, and really I tend to laugh at myself and how mad we can all get over such silly things after all is said and done. I think if you can do that, that is, sit back and say "ha, ha, I sound like a bit of a fool, same as the guy I'm mad at". Then it's all good. That's me and I just think that there are positive things about anyone that we just don't see, especially when we want to "beat the living f__k out of them". (kidding). I was like that when I was younger, and it did nothing but delay my accomplishments. I really enjoyed being a guitarist when I took lessons from Joe's friend, Doug Doppler in Berkeley Ca. We're about the same age, and he would impress me with his docile manner, yet fierce playing. The guy knew I was stoned sometimes during the first few months of lessons, and that I was pretty crazy, but never got unnerved or mad about it. He gave me a little shit joking around, but really just wanted to help me shred, and he would throw in a dose of "hey take it easy" from time to time and that's what I needed to see and hear. Then I got serious and got better and better and he saw how much work I was putting in and gave me extra attention cause we connected and had mutual respect. That's Joe too, unbelievably cool guy, totally approachable, but able to terrorize at a moments notice with his Ibanez. To me, that's doing something really wonderful and positive with your life, and so I like to try to "approach" that view of the world now.
Anyway, we're cool, and let's get on with everyone unless we get "unleashed" upon, and if and when that happens, just give it back in a short and sweet manner, so it does'nt keep you from posting other positive, useful info to someone else like you are capable of.
It sounds to me like Mr. Fisher is ok and wants to gel with you on past differences. I say give the guy a break, and start over. Take it to heart Growlz, I'm no Ghandi, by any means, but let's stick to music and helpful, interesting shit.
Why don't we all put that and a smidgen of pot in our pipes and smoke it! Ha, ha, ha.
Later everyone, Anton Shred

gotta have joe:Yo Kayla, heres a lil thing that moved me from a-b on alternate picking.
Reach out with your right hand and make it look like your opening and closing a locked door with a key.Use the same motion when picking up & down .
Its a hard technique to play the small notes well, so dont be hard on yourself, its going to take y a lot of time hon.All in all, the fast notes really aint all that important, i prefer myself 5 well played than 1000, each to there own thought i guess, good luck in practicing
