ZENFISH- The top prog rock act for me has to be with out question The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Just love John Mclaughlins use of unusual chotrds and the string arangements are earily beautiful. I particularly love tha albums Apocolypse now and the album featuring Carlos Santana Love, devotion.....

CAPTAIN STEVE- i'm trying to think of a clue .... It's got something to do with check point Charlie.

ZINC MASTER

I don't know what to make about corporations using charities. Are they genuinley helping good causes or are they doing it to sell more of their product? If they were concerned about a humanitarian cause why don't they donate annonymously? They also get tax relief on donations to charity.

M&M's

A little of both - they are trying to do a good thing, they are trying to get some good will, they are doing something to spur the sale of their product, they may also get a tax deduction.

I would guess, of a 50 Cent package of M&M's - only a few pennies go to the charity.

Good Morning Satchland........What Up?

Gonna be busy at work today and stoppin' in to say Hi....Hi.

Satriella..... Yeah, The pics are down from our site cause when Mick decided to screw us over he took it a step futher and ask his photographer buddy to have me remove the pics. I didn't want them on there anyway for obvious reasons. We're recovering from not gigin' and we'll find the musicians. I believe in " What goes around ....Comes around" and it'll happen for us. A liittle salt in the wound. Mick is playin' at a club 4 blocks from my house tonight. A club we had scheduled to play in April we canceled cause of him. Nice. Things happen for a reason and he obviously wasn't our man. Hugs

michelle..... I'm in a Rude Mood. That was awesome. Thanks. Stevie was a master at many techniques one being rake picking and it's all over that song. Iron Butterfly......I was a little young to be a hippie but remember it so well. Maybe that's why I remember.....lol.... Like Robin Williams said......" If you remember the 60's ....You weren't there"...lol....Hugs

Have A Great Day and a Better Weekend ! ! ! TGIF ! ! ! Yippie ! ! !

Edit.... Cheese.....How ya feelin' these days? Hugs

ZENFISH-

I stand corrected Mahavishnu are classed as fusion. Personally I lable any music that is different and brakes boundaries as progressive cos most acts that do this fuse so many different stlyes to progress into something new...

CAPTAIN STEVE

You more or less got it. The second world war ended when East and West Germany were reunited when the Berlin Wall was demolished in 1990.

OCPS470, haha, it's all good bro, but it would be better if you could put some downloadable samples on the STO site!

That's cool that you ran everything through the JSX, I wouldn't have guessed.....it handled the Rhodes sounds nicely then!

Well, well, well. Looks like Captain Steve got all upset that I got a little hot at Mikesb. I think if anyone here is being rude, it's you asshole. No I didn't wake up with a "dick in my ass". I think you were remembering what you were doing with Mikesb the other night, and just got confused with yourself. I was just dishing it back to him, cause he was a bit smart ass about it. You must be a mental giant too with all your cute and stupid nonsense that you often write about. Growler knew what was going on, too bad you don't. It's too bad that there are people like you who take up so much of this posting site with your stupid ass ranting about nothing of particular interest to anyone but a few blowhards like yourself. I noticed that you didn't list what you play. Yeah, I guess they don't have a category for "skinflute". Later DICKBRAIN. Satriella, thanks for the comment, congratulations on your first Satriani concert.

Hrh Fish - Indeed, the show must go on. But so too must the career. We'r eonly an unsigned, local act at the moment. Taking too time out due to injury ain't gonna piss anybody off. We didn't have a second guitarist for ages anyway - luckily the two set backs coincided I guess... lol

Satriella - there's nothing wrong with Stevie Wonder; that's some of the funkiest shit you'll ever hear!!!

Here's a wee question for Joe.

Please would there be any chance for you to play here in Belfast Northern Ireland at all? There are quite a few awesome venues to choose from here :)

If I have to get down on my knees and beg ya I will :)

I was hoping to get across to Glasgow in June, but canny make it due to my wife being pregnant.

I know I've proably asked the question before a while back, but could'nt find that particular post.

Please do an Ulster man proud :)

Best wishes to the band & Good luck with the curent tour.

Firebrand
