Hi Joe,

I'm Marc, a huge french fan for many years, but unfortunately I've never met you !!

I have met lot of your friends : Patrick Rondat, Steve Vai, John Petrucci and they ALL have signed on my guitar!

So now there's only one signature missing on my Ibanez : YOURS !!!

I have let enough space on it just for you !

I'll be in Monterau just to see you on the 10th of June, I have to see you to fill this blank waiting for your signature on my guitar !!

Please contact me to fond a solution to my problem : your signature is compulsory to complete this "G3 guitar" !!!

Many thanks Joe, see ya!

Marc

Hey Joe, Listening to "You Saved My Life"...today....so so pretty...and has that soulful feeling like "Ten Words"....interesting that it is the last song on the CD..(Strange Beautiful Music)..Wonder what you were thinking when you wrote it??.....Is the YOU, another person....a father, mother, a lover, a friend, a child?..or a spiritual connection, or your music, or perhaps belief in yourself??....such a glorious world we can live in...but how delicate and tender we all are inside...so vulnerable at times...and yet amazingly strong when we have to be.....your song expresses that...and the love it takes to hold on and live in freedom and truth...inspiring song.........I am going to tell you a story...I will try to make it brief....it is a piece of what inspired me to teach with love and tenderness...and most importantly...empathy....I know you feel that word...I hear it in your music...Well this is the story...It is the story of my 2 cousins....one young boy..Frankie ....from a home that didn't know how to "express" love properly ...beautiful gentle boy....by the time he was 18 he was dead.... escaped into drugs....escaped from a life too harsh to live.....and then there is the story of my other cousin...from another kind of home....the richness in his life came from the love and devotion of his kind mother.....My cousin John Turturro grew up to follow his dreams...live his passion, and express himself as a gifted actor...both cousins came from modest homes.....the difference was in the way they were loved....When we say "we love", we must really look into the eyes and hearts we hold so dear.....or they may not see and feel it...and we also must remember to give ourselves that love as well....we come into this world alone...we leave alone....and if you love yourself...really love yourself...you are never without a friend....I try to show my students this each and every day...life is a gift....Your song is very moving...whatever you were thinking...Whoever or whatever may have affected your life.........has added another jewel in the heart of man who composes such exquisite music...Thanks for sharing with the world that very human creative part of you.............Have a gorgeous day!............... .illuminata .......xxxooo.......................................... Christine

DO YOU HAVE NOSTALGIA ALBUMS JOE?....WHAT ARE THEY?

Hi Everyone,

I have just had a real nostalgia day playing loads of old stuff...

tell me..

Why did A Prophets Song not make it as big as Bohemian Rhapsody...its just as good...oh I love it...A Night at the Opera by Queen is just such a great sing along album....fan...flippin tastic!!

I went on to Paul Simon - Graceland...another sing-along Everyone play Darts by Darts...oh that was great....er....stop laughing at me....they had fantastic harmonies.....and a really good piano player...Hammy Howell....Oh I tell you if I could play a musical instrument or sing I would be in a band like that....doing a fantastic job but having a great time along with it...like madness as well...they had a good laugh...anyway then Bauhaus...Press the Eject and give me the tape and The Sky's gone out....oh yes and Squeeze...the singles...good ol Jules in his early days.....then some INXS...er underneath the colours I think oh yes and an all time classic sing-a-long that I absolutely love......WILD WEST HERO.....ELO...oooo I love that song!!!!

Its been so great having a great cooking day...cheese straws...fruit cake...chocolate gateaux....bopping around and singing my heart out....whoa.....

"Sometimes I look up high
And then I think there might
Just be a better life
Away from all we know
thats where I wanna go

Oh I wish I was....a wild west hero"

OK OK I know...not exactly classic guitar rock....but I just wanted to sing and dance OK!!!!!!

I tell you a tip .....NEVER get rid of your old stuff even if you've played it to death and your sick of it....years later you pick it up and love it again!!

DO YOU HAVE NOSTALGIA ALBUMS JOE?....WHAT ARE THEY?

Kayla....Gotta Have Joe....OK sweety I finished your portrait today as well

http://community.webshots.com/photo/549042624/2147765330084221824dcvbMO

Hope you like it!

davealan - hehe...no I don't figure they are good enough for that....but I do love doing them...you want your face done?

bahduh - days...numbered...on here...on the computer in general..... what's going on?

ovation1 - oh maybe those posts are deleted then? Yeah it is like family on here...that's why I worry when I don't see...er hear...er see...er hear????? familiar faces...er texts...er names.....aaaaaaaaagh you know what I mean.....but I still don't get what you mean...

Massachusetts.... The Land of the Rising Sun is my home

I thought the land of the rising sun was japan or China or somewhere like that... or is that your house name..

hehe

we were gonna call our house

"The Rocky Horror House on the Hill"

Anyways...I am sure the sun doesn't rise in Massachusetts ....does it.... hmmm maybe I have lived a sheltered life????

Guitarmeister - you not speaking to me anymore .... shall I carry on with the picture I have or what?

Oh my legs are itching to dance and my voice is itching to sing.....gotta go

BIG SATRIHUGS TO EVERYONE

SATRIELLA XXX

Satriella Sorry, I don't get pics taken that much. When I get some (at least one) I'll send it to you. Gonne have to be patient... I'll get one for you when I can.

Stevee T Not sure if Mari told you or not, I found her a ticket for the 'Amazing Journey' - Who - show... she gave me your email address in case I can get another. I'm trying... wish I could go to that show, I'd go just to see Paul. Once Paul finishes his new CD, he better do some touring around the East coast.

Zenfish: I hear ya on A Cool New Way and the others, lol, I would also include Banana Mango II in that list.... It is definately Joe in the highest order.... Btw Zenman, do you own Time Machine??.... If you dont, you will find lots of higher Joe with a touch of classical Joe in there too.... Great album!....

Satriella: Yes maam, I'm originally from MA, but live in Japan, lol, thus the Rising Sun ;-) And on this site.... It's had the same homepage since 2002 w/ a few tweaks between SBM~ITLIS.... Before that, we had the old scroll down forum that was hard to keep up with, lol, as if this format is any easier.... The old forum was pretty archaeic (sp??), lol....

donnie_darko: Thanks for that Flamenco, I love watching them play.... Some of the greatest guitar players on the Planet!....

Climber what about ProTools?
Big Gay Irish Laddie looks and sounds good. Might be better if you keep the Jameson drinkers away from the crowd cam's microphone though... ;-)
slansh worked for me, maybe you need a QuickTime update? Al's at fault though, using some weird kind of file format.... blame it on him!

Those Born 1930-1979!

TO ALL THE KIDS

WHO SURVIVED the 1930's 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's !!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and

NO ONE actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank koolade made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because .

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING !

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day.

And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms.......... WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of.

They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned

HOW TO

DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them . . . CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives

for our own good .

And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

What the hell happened to FISHFRY? I do believe he's had enough punishment and he's off to the mental ward. There is just so much meds can do for you. Davie, you have already stuck your foot up your ass by mentioning, like an idiot would, that your wife is a playboy slut. This obviously makes you the pervert. Then to exploit her on a website! You have real problems pal. No moral fiber, and walking around with drumsticks up your ass. Your just another ROACH filling in for FISHHEAD. You are a brainless wonder, lacking what we call in terminology that you can understand, grey matter. Now you have a roachmate in stevie. Here is another website worm. Together fishhead, stevie, and perv are now the 3 stooges! It feels great to dish out punishment on the web, but it would be soooo much better in person. Maybe I'll see you roaches at one of Joe's concerts! I'm sure you all will be easy to find all huddled up together with your thumbs up each others butts! Later on savages. FBIG
