Mari: How is he doing? He seems like a very nice fellow.

It was hotter than blue blazes here the other day. I mowed, came inside, took a shower, and then stuck my head in the freezer : Þ

On Super Colossal, when I first heard "Crowd Chant" I was stunned, and a bit uncertain.

But it has grown on me to the point that I can't stop listening to it. Its not just the chanting, its the GUITAR riffs. I even laugh out loud in the car when listening to it - its a very enervating track!!

I hope you do something like this again, on your next album(s) Joe!!

ovation1, thanks for sharing that link to Paul's wedding guitar! haha, what a legend! It's funny, I knew he was getting married but I was, for some reason, surprised to find out his wife is Japanese!

Surprised in a good way though, it's clear how much he loves Japan, it's people and it's culture, it seems like a definite recipe for a long and happy relationship.

aussieRGman, hell yeah dude, I'm not going to feel at all bad about getting rid of my dial-up modem!

ANTON Hey man, glad to see you post. You know something, your right. I have dished out enough insults in retaliation and am ready to quit. I believe the few people that have caused me trouble are not worth any more of my time and effort. The job is done anyway. It may be that I am addicted to the adrenaline rush. I always have to be doing something dangerous, and at times life threatening. My past is filled with violent sports. Started with martial arts, then high school football, collegiate football, powerlifting, picking up woman on the beach, SURFING, SURFING, AND MORE SURFING, hunting, hunting, back to martial arts and continuing to fight full contact every two weeks. The most mellow thing I do is play the bass and do research at the computer. You would think that after all the physical activity I would chill. Thats the way I have been all my life. Well, enough is enough. Now you know my story Tony. Its not all that bad. I get pissed off at people, just like everybody else does. Only my philosophy is different. Instead of backing off I ground and pound to submission. I cant do that on the web. I discussed this with cosmic ape. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. The problem is I need to lose.

Glad to learn that you are spending quality time with the special people in your life. Treasure it buddy! Summer is coming and its time to play. I hope you get your hands on a guitar soon.

I read gotta have joe posts from time to time and always wondered what she looked like. Did you see her picture? Beautiful girl. If her parents would let her, I think she has the ambition to become a lead guitarist. I asked 962 about how many good woman lead guitarists he knew of and he mentioned a girl from Garbage. I forgot her name. I came up with Susan Tadeschi and I cant think of any others. You know of any? Looks like we have to keep an eye on Kayla. She's 16 and has plenty of time.

Well bruddah, thanks for chilling me out. Talk to you later. Grateful. G.

Growler, Ana Popovic is a pretty mean female axe-slinger...... Course for shred & virtuosity it is still Jennifer Batten and Mimi Fox (on Vai's FN label) gets some pretty cool recommendations from none other than Joe Pass....

Suzie - so when do you start your new job....
it sounds really demanding.. you must have the patience and tollerence of a saint..

mthead - haha... so you like me tunez??.. cool thanks bro....
capt Steve - "Firstly I've gotta think of a variation of your nickname"

erm.... why??? lmao...

to download the MP3's... right click and "save target as"

the CD will not contain the MP3's on the website... this will be completely different material...

alexandre - so who did you get sponcorship with... anyone I know??

thanks for your very kind mastering offer... but I've already made the arrangements for this.. booked studio etc...

dck - Envy will be completed pretty soon now.... I'm gagging to get her back from Morgan Custom.....

I've decided to put the Gluttony project on hold in favour of Morgan making me a 7-string Merlin....

OCPS - Envy is a Creamy Alder body with a top quality West Coast Quilted Maple top...

on the MIDI control for your amp... to be honest I've no idea...
it don't sound like an easy upgrade either...
I've no idea where you'd start looking either....
just surt the web I guess for amp / fx customisers - but I wouldn't be too hopeful... normally, this sort of capability is designed in at the outset..
the only other - and somewhat limited option - is to use MIDI to control a graphic EQ and also switch amp channels between clean and dirty [via the stereo jack socket if your amp can do this].... not a great option though..

if you really want that kind of functionality you should be looking at kit like 2120, Triaxis, G-System, GT PRO, GMP-1, PSA-1, GNS3000 etc etc.. stuff of this ilk is designed to do this... but this is a different tone creation ethos... the rack makes the tone, the amp makes it loud... instead of the amp participating in creating the tone....

alternatively... surf the amp manufacturer's sites and go through the specs to see what's on offer....

Yoda - so did you get to see the link... lmao...
Slansh - have you tried my little trick with the detuner yet??
I've be interested as to your results...

hmmm... a piss-up and a jam in Barca.... I need to make a plan...

Satriella - that other Paul Clark is a low cost replica made from poor quality parts and is of inferior construction quality.. lol..

all other Clarky's are cheap copies.... lmao..

Mikey - and my pals that have jammed with me quite enjoy the idea of two 2120's too... lmao...
Anton - hahaa... it's nice to be considered as "worthy to be here".. lmao...
if any of you guys are interested in Morgan Customer Guitars - the guys biulding a fancy body for my RG7620 - then shout.. I can hook you up with them.....

IMHO - these guitars are made from the highest quality components and woods, and are build to the most rediculously tight tolerences.....

they need to be seen, heard and played to be believed....

This is a story of two elderly people living in a mobile home park in Florida. He was a widower and she was a widow. They had known one another for a number of years.

One evening there was a community supper in the Club House, and the widower and widow made a foursome with two other singles.

They had a wonderful evening and spirits were high. The widower sent a few admiring glances across the table, and the widow smiled coyly back at him. Finally, he plucked up his courage to ask her, "Will you marry me?"

After about six seconds of careful consideration, she answered, "Yes. Yes, I will. "

The meal ended with a few more pleasant exchanges and they went to their respective homes. The next morning, the widower was troubled. Did she say 'Yes', or did she say 'No'? He couldn't remember.

Try as he would, he just could not recall. He went over the conversation of the previous evening, but his mind was blank. He remembered asking the question, but for the life of him he could not recall her response.

With fear and trepidation, he picked up the phone and called her. First, he explained that he didn't remember as well as he used to.

Then he reviewed the lovely evening past. As he gained a little more courage he then inquired of her, "When I asked if you would marry me, did you say 'Yes' or did you say 'No'?"

"Why, you silly man, I said 'Yes. Yes I will.' And I meant it with all my heart."

The widower was delighted. He felt his heart skip a beat.

Then she continued, "And I am so glad you called because I couldn't remember who asked me."

WHAT SIZE SIR ?????

A man was in a long line at K-Mart. As he got to the register he realized he had forgotten to get condoms, so he asked the checkout girl if she could have some brought up to the register.

She asked, "What size condoms?"

The customer replied that he didn't know. She asked him to drop his pants. He did. She reached over the counter, grabbed hold of him and called over the intercom, "One box of large condoms, Register 5."

The next man in line thought this was interesting, and was up for a cheap thrill. When he got up to the register, he told the checker that he too had forgotten to get condoms , and asked if she could have some brought to the register for him!

She asked him what size, and he stated that he didn't know. She asked him to drop his pants. He did. She gave him a quick feel, picked up the intercom and said, "One box of medium-sized condoms, Register 5."

A few customers back was this teenage boy. He thought what he had seen was way too cool . He had never had any type of sexual contact with a live female, so he thought this was his chance.

When he got to the register he told the checker he needed some condoms. She asked him what size and he said he didn't know.

She asked him to drop his pants and he did. She reached over the counter, gave him a quick squeeze, then picked up the intercom and said...

"Cleanup, Register 5"
