Michelle Cheese101 Suzie 2000 Stevee T

Thanks for your kind thoughts. She was such a source of comfort for me. Born feral and we tamed her. She was intensely loving.

I will never forget her.

Michelle - Actually we live downtown Santa Barbara but the coyotes roam the streets freely here. This is when they have their pups so there is a lot of activity. So many missing cat signs and ads in the paper. This time it is our loss.

castle, coyotes in Santa B. - wow! I figgered you were on a ranch in Montana or something. My mom's last two cats were ferral. She had them for a bit more than 10 years, then the weekend before Easter she came home to find them both dead on the livingroom floor. There was no reason for it, and they were healthy cats. I insisted my mom and pop go out immediately and buy a carbon monoxide detector, and they did. It saved their lives. The chimney had clogged up, and the house was full of CO. If the cats wouldn't have died first, we would have been planning two funerals. With that said, RIP Cocoa and Missy!!

p.s. - my above post was not for you. Sorry it fell after yer post.

Castle, sorry for your loss. Here the coyotes thrive in the ravine system and river ways through downtown Toronto for petes sake. North of the city the population is ever increasing, they truly are wiley creatures. Friends of mine have had to buy protective neck collars for dogs as large as German Shepards and Bernease Mountain dogs coz the coyotes are smart smart pack animals. My close friends lost one of their Bernease dogs to a pack. A bitch in heat approaches and entices the male dog away from property to the edge of the forest. Once attracted, the pack sets in and attacks achilles tendons, hamstrings and eventually the jugular.... Another friend managed to save his shepard in a nick of time with damaged tendons. His dog is semi lame to this day and property bound. I have seen a coyote clear a 5 foot chainlink fence on the dead run, no problemo. They can squeeze through the smallest openings too. Scary stuff for pet owners indeed.....

Bob Seger's long-awaited studio album Face the Promise finally will see the light of day Sept. 12.

Seger produced the disc, which will be his first full-length studio effort since 1995's It's a Mystery. The first single will be "Wait for Me," which is expected to be made available in July.

Seger reportedly is considering assembling his Silver Bullet Band for a tour behind Promise, but plans are still up in the air.

Sammy Hagar

Sammy Hagar's latest album, Livin' It Up, reportedly will be released July 25 by Rhino Records.

The Red Rocker currently is supporting the disc on a U.S. tour that, as previously reported, features a set of Van Halen songs with his former VH bandmate Michael Anthony.

In a recent interview, Hagar said he and Anthony don't think there's much chance for another full-scale Van Halen reunion, since "everything's not cool" between the pair and the Van Halen brothers.

Michelle - She went before her time at 10 but maybe there is a reason. She missed the other one so much "Lucky". I told her she would see him again. Did not know so soon.

MikeSB - They were not a problem 30 some years ago when I moved here but over time they have lost the fear of humans and the pets are an easy meal. I won't have another cat here as I can't go through this again. So sort of an end of an era as I have always had one since 1979. Sad about that too.

Hey kids,

Satriella - Thanks for the get well wishes... I'm feeling WAY better than the last time I talked to you. I'll keep an eye out for the envelope! :)

ZincMaster - Good news for Sammy, but man that sucks about VH. I love that band, but there's just a little too much drama going on there.

A friend of mine used to have a cat. Can't remember what he called it but I renamed it after stopping at his house one night. There I was, sleeping like a baby with 8 pints of Joshua Tetley's finest sloshing around inside me when the damn thing leapt from the top of the wardrobe and landed right on my head. I nearly crapped the bed thinking I was being attacked. Ever after the cat was called lard in homage to the first two words out of my mouth (cooking fat) when it happened.

Steve.

Good Morning Satchland..... What Up Everyone?

SteveeT...... Thanks so much for the comments about my son Aaron. The Kid did good..... Speaking of which......

Cheese..... I'm so happy for all of you. Definetly a mild stone graduating high school but.... a JS1200 included. Well, that's the coolest thing I've heard in a while. Like I said before. You're Chris' biggest influence. I can feel the love and it's great. Congrats to the both of you. Hugs

gottahavejoe..... I've been in the same boat you're in for over 30 yrs. No support. I say f..k them all like I've done. As far as being a young women and never being any good becuz you're a young women. F..k them again. I seem to remember great women players out there like: Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Batten, Ana Popavich,Mimi Fox...etc. Yes, you can say it's male dominated.....So what? There's always room for talented guitarist no matter the gender or race. So shut up and play you're guitar....lol..... I'm paraphrazing and not being rude. (of coarse you knew that) Always hugs for ya sweetie.

ZZBOGMAN..... Thanks so much for you're comments and again for sighning our guest book. It really does mean alot to me. Whew ! ! ! I didn't expect that at all. Thans again.

Suzo.... Nice pics of the gang. It was great to see Zenfish and Joelle. You seldom get to see pics of the people here at T2J and it's cool to put a face with a post. You're guitars are awesome.....very nice collection. Hugs to you.

Zenfish..... Nice to see you and Joelle....I mean really see you....lol....I haven't forgotten about you're Sinphony. I've been so busy with auditions and mixing the bands I recorded. But I definetly want to be a part of your project and I thank you for your patience. Take care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

cheese101 That's awesome! I graduate this Friday, it would be unbelievable to get a guitar or anything guitar related (amp, guitar...guitar...lol)... I doubt it though. You never know though.

Suzie2000 I actually know someone selling a new JSX, he was in an accident, so has to sell all of his gear. Which really sucks for him, I'll probably buy it off him this summer. $700, how nice is that!?

Hey joe, registered my self with your website to mention that I'm a Reception teacher (that's year 4/5 yr olds) in the UK and we always use your music to 'tidy up' to! They love it-though I do get lots of air guitar! There must be something genetic and deep grained in the human psyche to react to rock n roll that way! Love the latest album (as always!). Thanks for providing peace and harmony in my classroom (albeit with a fair ammount of freaky dancing)!

Mikesb:I,ve started work on an Alt tuning book which will highlight creativity & ridding yourself of getting stuck in a rut.

It seems to me a lot of musicians, ESPECIALLY GUITARISTS are so preoccupied with honing their technique, amp tone etc they lose their sense of self, by that I mean the enjoyment of music. After giving many lessons to students over the years, the same priority of technique etc came up with many feeling perpetually depressed because they cant obtain what their dreams demand. So what I aim t do is make the person feel in a different angle.

Let me put it this way

Q…When Frank Zappa realized he couldn’t play on guitar what was in his minds eye…What did he do?

A.He hired musicians that could

He could harness his ideas because he could read, write & score for an orchestra, which it seems is what he did his whole pro life

Trouble with most varneyesq guitarists before is they were so tunnel visioned on being the next fast gun, preoccupied with a flaw in technique & the persue t perfect it, they lost the whole concept & beauty of whats inside their very soul..my opinion, doesnt mean shit. Some say"well that’s what I feel"…I disagree & feel that competition varney bull died because it was ego based. The others copy their heros with no thought of self voice & suck the other in at the same time.I used to be one, lol.

Perfection is an illusion, only water is perfect it seems

When I changed environment & style of playing pro, man I was beating myself up, until I read this from Bruce Lee some 10 years ago

Take a cup and pour the water in…it becomes the cup

Be like water my friend

What happens if you cant become like the water then?

Simply move on,under, over, left or right till you find your place & waste no time doing it.

Maybe the technique you so crave to play, isnt really what you need at all, think about it

LEAVE THE WOODCUTTIN T ZEN , lmao
