Message: Why you should never take your husband shopping with you.

Letter: Mrs. Fenton, Our store is considering banning your family from ever shopping with us unless your husband stays in plain site of the surveillance cameras.

MEMO

Re: Mr. Bill Fenton - Complaints - 15 Things Mr. Bill Fenton has done while his spouse/partner is shopping:

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares..... and watched what happened.

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and asked to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.

6. September 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

7. September 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.

8. September 23: When a clerk asks if they can help him, he begins to cry and asks "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

9. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror, and picked his nose.

10. November 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, asked the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are.

11. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

12. December 6: In the auto department, practiced his "Madonna look" using different size funnels.

13. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"

14. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed the fetal position and screams "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!"

(And; last, but not least!)

15. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door and waited a while; then, yelled, very loudly,

"There is no toilet paper in here!"

:))

Joe, Is it pretty complicated dealing with your guitars, namely the Locking Tremolo, because I've used them and they are a handful. Just wondering.

After reviewing the postings I'm glad things have mellowed out a bit.

ANTON Hey buddy, sorry to hear about your mom. Tony, you still have plenty of time to get a band together dude. If you want to do it you can make it happen. Sorry to be so harsh about Jeff Beck, but I never really was a fan. What can I say, but I must say he is a gifted guitarist. Sounds like your into a good job. Had a girlfriend who was a radiologist and she did very well for herself. I'm sure you are familiar with Billy Gibbon's car collection as it's featured every once in awhile on cable. A mechanic and collector friend of mine is working on a Camaro and Cuda (hemi). Put a new engine in the Camaro. No miles. Both cherry. Camaro red. Cuda yellow. I drive a 98 Mustang Cobra w/ VT supercharger (optional and out right now due to gas prices). My friend will not let me touch his cars let alone sit in one! I dont blame him, as soon they will be up for sale.

Like your taste in bands bruddah. Did you see Rob Zombie last night on Letterman. I dont know what to think of RZ. He was very entertaining, even had a couple of oversized giant demons on the stage. Interesting.

Well, its almost time for summer and I'll be getting my band back. All 3 are teachers so we will be able to get together on a regular basis. Were adding another guitarist and he will be "stretching" us. I dont know if I like that term. But, I guess its for the best. Now we are "CrossFire". My wife likes the name, and it is a SRV tune so.....I'll get adjusted to it. What do you think Tony? I will end on a bitter sweet note. The last 24 hours on this site have been mellow. It seems everybody is back to business as usual. But, you know Tony, I will admit to a mistake if I am wrong, just as I did to CA, but this new dude alan is a little strange, dont you think? He's kind of like me in a way as he enjoys my posts and finds them entertaining. See, so people like to stir up a little action. Just between you and me, he is a con man. websites have no other authority figure other than the feds and I have all the legal info in my hot little hands, but it will not be used unless it's necessary. I really like Joe, the band, the webmaster and the crew as I"m sure everybody on this site does. Stay cool buddy. Surfs up and its time to get in the water! Have a good one! G

A song for Joe......

I seem to recognize your face Haunting, familiar, yet I can't seem to place it Cannot find the candle of thought to light your name Lifetimes are catching up with me All these changes taking place, I wish I'd seen the place But no one's ever taken me Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...

I swear I recognize your breath Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising Me, you wouldn't recall, for I'm not my former It's hard when, your stuck upon the shelf I changed by not changing at all, small town predicts my fate Perhaps that's what no one wants to see I just want to scream...hello... My god its been so long, never dreamed you'd return But now here you are, and here I am Hearts and thoughts they fade...away...

Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away... Hearts and thoughts they fade...away... Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away... Hearts and thoughts they fade...

PhryDom helped me too with that one, he also recommended me Audacity, which he didn't mention now, you should give it a shot, i think it's something like www.audacity.com, i'm not sure, but i used it to record the acoustic track i posted the other day, so if you liked it (and not that i have learned how to use it completely), there you go...

Lani - Yeah I know AWMAWY....Its fantastic! hehe not much help am I

Master Yoda - Sorry to hear about the bag...have you got the key situation sorted now?

DCSlater - Is it me or have you removed some of your pictures from your site?

Zenfish - why are you in London 8-12....surely that should be 18-22!

waterproof soap - wow how are you...haven't heard from you in aaaaaaaaaaaaages!

Gotta Have Joe - The trick is to draw what you actually see...not what you think you can see...no matter how stupid it seems when you are drawing it...so for example people draw round eyes coz they subconsciously think of a round eyeball...but when you actually look they can be all sorts of funny shapes...same principle applies to everything else really...draw what is actually there...I will give you the brilliant advise that was given me from Cosmic for strings...colour in the background...then tape two pieces of plastic together with a tiny gap between them...put that over the drawing hold it down and use a rubber to rub out the bit between the lines!

Kouch - Welcome aboard the satch train.....I can appreciate complients because I have had a lot of put downs (re last post)

shredguy - where is guam anyway?

mthead101 - Hey....a familiar face...er...word...er...name at last...how are you doing...your gettin to be a stranger round these here parts?

keniko - Hows the band auditions found anyone yet?

Cheese101 - Shopping....oh that was funny! Thanks!!!!!

Suzie - Hope you find out today!

alexandrecaetano - I will do you again...coz I am seriously not happy with the last attempt....right yep gonna go to your site now and print you off...now I got a decent printer!

Hello all you Satri-eyes......hope that includes The Forgotten Boy and PeaceandGuitars!

Hugs to all you lovely people!

Satriella xx

Shredguy: I can't comment on the boss Gt or the verb pedal. I own the DD6, and if you like pristine delay that sounds exactly the same as the input sound and doesn't screw with your tone, then that is the ticket. I notice a big upgrade in the "pristine sound" department from the DD5. I actually think that if you need a delay that gets you a working sound quick and easy without scrolling through 20 parameters (like a lot of rack units) the DD6 does the job, and actually is as good as a studio unit. I actually use it as a studio delay, using it post mic as a stereo delay...really great sound. As far as the Boss Ds1....if you want a dist pedal that can get you kind of an 70-80's marshall tone, and can vary from crunchy and spitty to fat and smooth, it's great. I think it works best in front of a clean 6L6 (or 6L6 variant like the 5881) tube amp. Before I got the JSX, I was getting a really nice sound with it in front of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Just remember, that even though it can get lower gain sounds, it isn't going to have a SRV tubescreamer type blues sound to it...it almost sounds jazzy and sassy...mellow. Also, it isn't super high gain...just enough to sustain in a vai/ satch type way and let your fingers do the work. I don't really like the stock ds1 that boss puts out now(made in Taiwan). There are plenty of guys like robert keeley that can mod it to make it sound fat like the original model. Hope this helps

artanis...mate ,please do not consider the defeat of Greece too highly......frankly Brazil is out of the question...yu guys better think of how to get over Japan and Croatia.......to proceed to the elimination round in the world cup/.............yu are lucky to have Huddink as the coach...he is almost a lucky charm to every team that he coaches......btw,great news regarding the attendance at the MCG ,,,,almost 96000 people watched the game against Greece...but bro, aint there a lot of Greek expatriats in australia.....anyway,all the best to the Socceroos...... and it is really nice to see yu back....cool man.
