Sad day. The coyotes got my sweet cat Nadia last night. She lost her companion only two weeks ago. Think she was out looking for him. I can't believe they are both gone. So far this year really sucks.

Suzie2000 Wanna give me that JSX?! Lol. I had a chance to get a JSX for $999, was going to go back the weekend to pick it up and it was sold. Awesome amp, I but the guys at the music store by me a lot when I stop in, I'll play an amp for about an hour, go to another amp, then another, then go to the counter and ask for a pack of strings. Lol. Sometime (soon, I hope) I'll be able to get an amp I really want.

hey this is a story i think that all satriani fans will enjoy. last year joe came to Mumbai, India to perform. i went to the airport to try and meet him n managed to get in. i waited for like 15 mins and joes flight landed. i couldnt believe my eyes when i actually got to meet him. so imagine my surprise when i got to speak to him for like half an hour. thats right. he had to wait at the airport so we spent the time talkin. i just wanted to tell everyone what a great guy joe is. he is one of the most down the earth guys youll ever meet. he was unbelievably nice. we spoke about everythin from his fav guitar to where in italy his parents were from. i was shoked the whole time n my jaw was halfway open the whole time. i dont kno why but i didnt manage to ask him much bout his guitars and technique cause i guess i didnt kno enuf then. he even gave me his pick n i took loads of photographs. i just wanted to share this with ull cause joe is amazing fun to be around and very funny.
PS. i got a ibazez JS 100 a month later n its a great guitar.
PPS. Joe if u read this thanks a lot again. please come to India again plz, plz.
cheers everyone

Slansh - jeez.... did you lose much?? and how's your hand??
Satriella - 13 is only unlucky for Templar Knights... lol...
I'm not really supersticious....
so what did you mean by "being 13"
Suzie - I'm pretty pissed about not being able to get there...
I was really looking foward to it... but I had to work and couldn't get out of it....
funny really... 4 years ago I lived about a 10 - 15 minute drive from you....
I'm really sorry... and I feel pretty bad about it too...
great pic too... very cool..

If you choke a smurf...what color does it turn? Hey T2jers. Work has been busy and crazy as of late. Just yesterday a little boy was in with his Mom, he was dressed as batman. he got anxious and started to wave his arms about. i told him,"Hey don't do that! You'll fly away and your Mom will wonder where you are." He did calm down. Mom and I had a good laugh. THanks for all the links and pic T2jers. Some I could not negotiate to listen, and some were just fun. Randell

GottahaveJoe: Save for your own Ibanez! Look for a combo amp to save for. I hope that your family sees the talent/desire you have and that they enable you. Good luck. (p.s. If i could I would mail you a guitar! Randell)

Joe, I'm new to this kind of thing, so please be patient. But, I want to ask: what kind of performance techniques or things do you work on when you practice? Do you run scales and modes? I've read about your "linear scales" and look forward to working that into my own regimen. I'd love to know. I appreciate you and your music very much. Thanks! God bless you and yours!
