5 hours time and the show will be starting, hells yeah!
Seeing as I think we're allowed to take photos I'm going to do a picture story and post it in a myspace blog so people can read it if they want, it should be pretty awesome and I'm front row centre so the pics of Joe should be absolutely awesome.

Cockernee lot - I hope you lot have better manners than some of the warts that went to the Newcastle gig. There were a good few empty seats when Johnny A started his set, some peeps were drifting in late once he had started and quite a few were making their way in when his set was well underway. Some even got up and buggered off back put to wait for Joe. Of course once Joe came on, the only use for the seats was for some of the vertically challenged (my son being one of them) to stand on.
Have a great night peeps.
Steve.

can anyone help me understand sumpin'....?
In the original Godzilla movies.....what was Godzilla's agenda??
Godzilla never actually ate any of the people in the train passenger cars..........
And......what were they doing blaring a loudspeaker ?"
"hmmmm....I think I'll cower in this trench while the loudspeaker announces my location to a 200 ft. tall gekko with pyroclastic breath!!
Kayla............nice to see you "catchin' the thrill" make sure your amp is all the way up to 11!!..uhmmm...oh..infinity...forgot about the new ones Nigel is playin' now!!!
Satriella Your big day is here.......i'll bet that after the show it'll take a week before you can feel your feet touching the ground.....I'm stoked for ya!!!
Growler well done on the Phd.........i must confess..i transgress on the five string bass..but i feel it too man.....damn those keyboards....they made me do it!!......right on the mark with Billy Cox...four strings are all that is needed....the fifth one to me is like the optional power windows....and it took me three years to get comfortable with it....I'm just grateful that it didn't have a re-bound into the string bass realm....the fifth string would've been as thick as this post!!!(ps. the C extension was bad enuff!!)
Illuminata always nice to see one candle lighting another!! Your nickname is very appropriate and your comments are the kind of fuel that powers a paradigm shift thats just outright awesome!!!
ALL DADS........HERE"S A PIECE OF FATHERS DAY INTROSPECTION: (warning..the following message may contain Suessical notation!)
You are Father
I am Son
This can't be changed
by anyone.
If we concurr
or disagree
this truth
remains...........
I'll find your face
within this mirror
As I grow old
The vision , clearer.
I am self
and yet I'm made
from someone else.
**********************
I am Father
and You are Son
My role has changed
Now both in one.
We all remain
In this domain
forever joined.
I gaze on life
within it's youth
Familiar smiles
And subtle truth,
Of where I'm from,
and where I'll be......
Right in front of me.
Peace...............................................John

Nestle to buy Jenny Craig for $600 million
VEVEY, Switzerland - In a new twist in corporate synergy, Nestle AG, the world's biggest food and drink company, said Monday it will fatten up its weight-loss business by buying Jenny Craig Inc. for $600 million.
The current management team of Jenny Craig, which is based in Carlsbad, Calif., will continue to run the business and report directly to Nestle, the Swiss company said in a statement.
Nestle is buying Jenny Craig — which employs more than 3,000 people — from two private equity groups, ACI Capital and MidOcean Partners. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter, the private equity firms said in a statement.
Weight management will become a new business within Nestle's nutrition unit and will reinforce its U.S. presence. The Swiss company already owns the Lean Cuisine line of foods.
"With this strategic acquisition, the group takes another important step in its transformation process into a nutrition, health and wellness company," said Nestle Chairman and Chief Executive Peter Brabeck-Letmathe.
"The rise of obesity and the resulting metabolic disorders, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, is a major public health concern, not only in the USA but also the world over," Brabeck-Letmathe said.
Jenny Craig, which has more than 600 weight-loss centers in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, generated sales of more than $400 million in the past 12 months and achieved double-digit internal growth.

Saw Joe last night in Glasgow. First off, Johnny A was very good, I rather enjoyed his set, even if he was too lazy to get off his ass for the entire set! :-)
Joe was fantastic as you'd expect although I was rather disappointed in the amount of slower songs he played, and I was VERY disappointed he didn't play Big Bad Moon, I'd been telling my pal it would be a highlight of the show then he never even played it. :-(
Still, my friend, who never really listened to Joe before, enjoyed it enough to buy a SC T-shirt!
Come back to Glasgow again soon Joe, we'll be there!
BTW The audience was SOO varied - young kids, metal fans, older men and women, all sorts. I even saw a star of one of the Scottish soap-operas there (Kelly Marie from "River City"). All in all a great night out, thanks Joe!
