JonnyB: I have never had the platinum package but from what the peeps here on this board have said, there is a professional photographer who takes a digital picutre of you and Joe. You are later given a website where you can view/download your picture. I assume they will do the same thing at the shows across the pond...

Thanks for the info about Barcelona- when we go on holidays we do try not to look like typical tourists (no cameras round the neck, streetmaps in the back pocket etc...) but I think you just have to keep your wits about you. Looking forward to it! Matt was just saying the other day what a shame it is you won't be in Barcelona the week we are there, would have been good to meet up with you :) Glad you are getting to see Joe, sorry to hear that the venue sucks, that's a shame...

Well, my son Aaron returned safely from his business trip. Thanks you lord....you've been good to me.....please keep it up.....lol.....Everything went well for him. He got the company on line and networked with only a few problems that he handled. Thanks Devry Institute. Money well spent.

...I guess somethings/people are what they are not by choice......I've seen so many of those posts I just couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer.....that and I'm killing time waiting on some callbacks today.............on another note
If you really need to get a servers attention in a restaurant....make sure that before you go to dinner....stash a few marshmallows, a couple of birthday candles and a lighter on
your person.........once you've established that you're being ignored.....have a marshmallow roast right there table side....and offer some to the surrounding tables.......you'll get your server!!!!

Another pointer, usually after work i,m covered in crap from the day, i guess i,ve had a lot of luck for that.On that night i made an effort t dress well....that can also be a pointer for those willing t steal.However y,ll have Matt so all should be well, just dont fall asleep the 2 of yis!The metro at 45 degrees does that after a few ales if the AC is off!!!
The Razz venue in Barca just doesnt cut it for sound, i,ve seen people playing with great sound engineers,backing tracks there & it still sucked.I think its the shape of the venue...high ceiling arghhh, delay/reverb death that gives that woolie ball of crap sound or maybe its Speaker quality & placement, dunno, all i know is there are better venues t play.Unfortunately y have to be HUGE to play em & Catalunya is a lil behind the times when it comes to acts like Joe but i,ll be there
Jon (webmaster) No idea if you will read this, pass the word to someone to contact TV3 in Barcelona Catalunya for the gig, there are a lot of peeps here who have no idea who Joe is! With some luck next time around he could be playing a venue that would do justice to his sound, Razz in Barca sucks donkey balls.Also give the feckers a recording from the desk mixed with the crowd.The catalans are as tight with money as a ducks ass so there is no knowing how it would be represented if it was just by them!!!! At long last, the opportunity to talk to Joe!! (well if he has a break long enough to read and reply to it)
Lets just say that after an Ibanez promo tape got circulated in '89 (or so) that had 'Always with Me ...' and 'Satch Boogie' on it, that I abandoned my drum lessons in favour of an instrument way cooler!
Unfortunately along this journey of guitar expression I got distracted with being the engineer behind the mixing desk, and then the engineer INSIDE the mixing desk... and I went and got an electrical engineering degree.
However I find myself once again returning to playing the guitar, and my once pretty-good-skills have vanished out of the long term memory... Damn.
Not surprisingly it is all your fault AGAIN Joe! First the Love in Space CD and now Super Colossal!

Hello...........Sorry for not being around, I've been sick since last Wed. the day of the show IN NYC @ BBKINGS....I made it but I thought I was going to have to leave since I felt like I was going to passout....... I started to feel better as it got closer once I only had a lil while to wait..... I REALLY thought i wasn't going to make it through, NOT what I wanted esp since I spent 5 hrs on Monday getting the tix. I went to work the next day after the show with just 4 hrs of sleep....then crashed at 7:30, wen to work the next day and worked 2 & 1/2 hrs OT with No lunch but crashed with fever after I finally got home...... just slept alll weekend. Couldn't do much anything due to severe headaches & nausea. I'll give you all the details......tomorrow or Saturday. It was one "Amazing Journey" just like the show's title!!! I was maybe 12 feet from Mike Portnoy...........and I've got some amazing Photos!! ;-))
I'll be back to finish later............
