HrhFish- You're going to the pub at 1p.m.... you will be wrecked by the time the show starts! lol
NJBEAST- Thanks for info- could you also answer one really silly question... but... how many types of ID do you need to take? I think that's a bit daft, as I bought 3 tickets for us that are going, but they were paid for originally on my card... so it could be anyone going anyway!
Sounds excellent, can't wait... about signing guitars though, don't most people just take the scratchplate or whatever? That seems easier / safer to me.
PaulEMoz- glad it all went well for you and your Dad! Sounded amazing...

Hey Joe! I went to your gig at Newcastle city hall last night, and it was fantastic. I have your Live in San Fransisco DVD, and I reckon this performance was better than that one, even though that one was absolutely awesome too! I suppose I have one question for you in particular, as I have found the answers to most questions regarding phenominal technique in your articles etc ;): How do you select your backing band? I was absolutely amazed to see Dave Larue on bass with you last night. I am an absolutely MASSIVE FAN of the Dixie Dregs, (please let this be known), and I would LOVE them to come and play some gigs in the UK. How do you hook up with such brilliant and varied musicians? Thanks for one of the best gigs I have ever been to. You are an inspiration! :)

Hello all, just got back from Newcastle.
Had a great time at the show last night but at the risk of sounding sacreligious I wouldn't say it was awesome.
The sound for Johnny A wasn't the best but my son thought he was great. For me he was quite good but wifey thought less so.
I feel that any Joe show will be special though. I have seen many bands / artistes over the years and very few seem to become one with their instrument, Joe does and it is amazing!
If Joe or any of the musos of you are still reading this post I have a question. Towards the end of 'Crowd chant' there is a section that sounds like a bit of 'Pavane' from Faure's Requiem, the question is, is it? I'd be grateful if you can answer this Joe, or anyone else who may know.
Hope you cockney lot have a great time in Hammersmith on tuesday.
Keep rocking all
Steve.

Actually, yeah, I think Joe says just that in the podcast for it! *hums it out*

Suzie2000 I took my passport down but the crazy thing was............ "and I hope i dont get told off for saying this but". We where never asked for ID. I guess with the ID the signature on the email confirmation would have to match the one on the ID.......????
I guess it helps pople like me,,,,, where the package was booked ny my Dad and with him putting all his details in....card, billing adress. and EMAIL it would all go's to him. I got abit worryed about this and email Etix myself and they where fine with it they told me they would change the ticket to be in my name and that I could print it off with my dad's email adress on it but sign and date it under my name...... I surpose that would be where the ID comes in,,,, I hope this helps outher people with any problems..... Make sure you email Etix to make them awhere if you need to
Also with the Joe Satriani Guitar (JS) not having scratch plates anybody wanting them signed has to take the full guitar down.......
Enjoy the show baby You Are Going To Love It
Stay Safe.
P.S Give Johnny A a big cheer. he is very good.

CAP STEVE- Glad you enjoyed the show:) That section at the end of Crowd Chant is similar to the Faure piece but not exact...one note is different... I cannot wait until Tuesday- lol at "you cockney lot"!!!
NJBEAST- Thanka again- have e-mailed etix again to be on the safe side, don't know why they can't just give you more detailed info in the first place... never mind! Not sure whether to take my digital camera or not- don't want it getting confiscated, maybe I'll get one of those cheap and nasty disposables just in case... See what you mean about the JS guitars, I don't have one so didn't think about the scratchplate! What a pain having to take the whole guitar though!
MARKY BOY- Thanks for the link :)

Hello All. Just joined the community. Had a great time at the Manchester Apollo gig (Friday June 16th). A great set. This is the second time I've seen Joe (was at the same venue for the G3 gig in 2004).
Keep up the good work and have a great tour, Joe!

Happy Fathers day JOE!!! I have been afforded this distiction....even though I don't have children, and can't.
GottahaveJoe: Sorry it'll take so long but I will get it done after I go to the hospital that day. Just keep practicing and creating.!!! Now you know what ATN is. I'll tell you how we got that name for the band one day. I hope you found some sounds you liked. Other T2Jers have had some fun listening to ATN stuff. Our digital sales have been pretty brisk for an Independant. Time for you to learn scales and sweeps and stuff. Also those pesky "Pinch Harmonics." I can give you insites into how/where to get those wherever you are on a string. Peace, KTF Randell p.s. Rock out at Copper mtn!!!!

A LITTLE PRAYER
Dear guitar god,
( i dont see jesus, buddha or Vishnu playing a guitar in my head so its adressed to any god overlooking guitarists on earth) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me win the aftershow pass to Joe's gig on 22nd of this month. I know in a wee while the webmaster is going to look at his comp and go that one, that one and that one. Please make sure that one of the "that one" is me. LOL I know i am rubbish at playing guitar. LOL " sounds like a cat's dying " was the review i got from my sweetheart ( not any more! ). But I been practicing away. I can play 60% of starry night, 40% of crying, 30% of always with me, 10% of barique and 2% of midnight. LOL so come on as Will Young sings it, let joe "light my fire".

hey everyone-- i've been busy busy doing editing for some nice bonus features for the HD Anaheim DVD that will be coming out later this year. i think everyone will love the stuff -- some is shortened versions of the rehearsal/cd release event but there are also two brand new ones from backstage in SF closing night of the US tour and a special one from the studio during recording of Super Colossal! i'm esp pleased since it'll be the first time all of this work we primarily do for y'all online makes it onto a std commercial release :}
i also want to let everyone know that i am *waaaay* behind in webmaster emails. i've got almost 800 unread messages and it's really going to take me a while to go through them, but i promise i will :} so apologies in advance to anyone who has sent something and is awaiting replies.
one thing to let everyone know about the platinum pass photos-- i have nothing to do with those and you definitely need to contact the folks you purchased the tickets with to find out where your photos are. if a month or two has gone by with no response, let me know since in situations like that i can do a little prod to make sure our fans (that's you) get treated well :}
