Just had a call from Joe checking that I'll still be able to make it up to Newcastle this evening. I did have other plans but I'll change them because he asked me so nicely.

Slashroom (and Mr T) - Omar Hakim, a fine skin basher indeed!

Holmes - Don't you go in chat much these days?

Keep rocking all and remember, Rule number 1 for fighting walls......When you find yourself fighting a wall, STOP, this is a fight you're unlikely to win.

Hi, my name is Michele(26yo) and Im Italian. I live in Germany (Augsburg) and I play the guitar since I was 10yo. I heard about Satriani in my first Instructional book and immediatly got interested in the Longform-Scales and Legato playing. I bought "Surfing with the Alien" when I was 16yo and was "buff" when I heared how Satch plays. Hes fluidity, Legato lines, strange sounding scales and chords, wowwwwwwwww........ Yeahhhh.........this was how I wanted to sound like. Inspite of knowing that he was former teacher from Steve Vai there was no further information about Instructional books or Videos from Satch in my Instructional books "Peter Fischer". At that time Internet and dsl were not very popular and I didnt have. Of course I think that even Satch did not have an Homepage at that time (1996)? At Frankfurt Trade-Show I found although nothing but his book "Guitar Secrets" that I imediatly bought and studied. Its a good book but its a hole other thing when the author shows you the things that he want to deliver. Like Frank Gambale "Speed Picking" video. Wouldnt it be a fine thing to come up with a video containing all the exercises and concepts Satch wrote in Guitar Secrets? Im playing now for many years and have a lot of (I think 50) guitar Instructional videos-exept one from my biggest musical and technical influence-Joe Satriani. Come on Joe-do it for me, hi hi he he ha ha. My first question is where your roots are from, Satriani is no English or American Name and your melodies sound like if they were from an other planet, hi hi ha ha he he. Tell me please more about. I although read that your wifes name is Rubina-thats an Italian Name. Is she Italian? Do you have children? Whats their names? Do they play an Instrument? How old are they? I saw that you will come to Germany this month and so I imediatly bought 2tikets for Ulmer-Zelt in Ulm. You although will play in Saarbrόcken, but why not in Munich or Augsburg? Augsburg has an fine theatre where you could play and is an amazing city. I hope that I will be able to catch a good place in this tent in Ulm to see you close up. Of course you look good. I want to look close up on your fingers-theyre moving like gummi!!! I know that Im too late and you already on tour and most probably dont see this message, but if you do read this, please write me back and ask my questions. I although want to ask you may I meet you aftershow or before. I do not want fotograph or autogramm-only say Like Eros Ramazzotti to his Ex wife in the song Piu bella cosa..."Grazie per esistere". Thank you Satch. bye

Keniko: lol Kensan, I havent watched that Joe interview in a long time, and it just proves what a classy guy Joe is (as we all know, lol), but I really like the fact he was in a special place at a special time to share his brilliance.... Always great to hear what Joe has to say, cause the man knows.... He IS the Master!! :-)

Satriella: There you go girl, cant beat less work days, lol, I need them too, haha!!.... Oh, and the 4th of July is a great day to start, lol!! ;-)

slanshroom: lol bro on the Orion!! :-) I'm having one now, and someday I need to send you some, lol, it is worth it!!.... Stay kuul bro, and btw, thanks for that Healey / SRV clip.... Whoa brotha, that was awesome!!....

Stevee T: Great sound as usual bro, I really like the lines you used in this one.... Very soothing and dreamlike at the same time.... Drums give the vibe, and the arpeggiating rhythm gives that drive along feel.... Nice job man, I always enjoy your tunes....

Delfino Pie: I cannot get up that was so funny, ROTFLMAO!!!!

Ohhhhh Yeah for Clarky on the backstage passes!!!!

Does anyone know what kind of ID will be acceptable for the pre-show Platinum event? I still haven't told my dad about it, and want to keep it a surprise right up until the last minute, but I don't know what kind of ID he'll have with him, if any.

Stevee t:Long time no hear that bud.Its always good t hear y play, y have a heart for the atmospheric, she seems t like you 2!

I,ve got a work plan for 12 new tracks.I,ve started 6, finished the bones of 4 & swap between each when i get bored of the vibe, that way my passion level doesnt sink, i know you understand what i mean.I,ve been learning on a lot of eastern ornamentations for single note colour of late. How they decorate notes, a triplet for eg, right click n save click here & scroll down to Sharq taronasi for a live rec in the studio of my old band The Iron Horse to get an eg of the real deal with Sogdiana. These cats are amazing!I had to keep the guitar solo scale wise within the vibe, its around 2.30 it starts.I really wanted to do something different...but...out of respect & kin to the vibe, i kept it straightforward, hope y like bro

Ovation1:Save yer money bud! I want t get out there some day! Y better make sure y have a crate when i land, lol Sumit for y hornet Hope they dont find y In Okinawa bud, warriors of the skys! if y step on a hive they will attack like no other. This documentary doesnt go into 2 much detail, but step on their ground...they,ll melt the face right of y. Have y heard of them?

...point of (non) interest: my post number 1547 is the same as the year when Henry VIII died... well the mindset needed to work with the autistic pupils I do has to rub off on you somehow!!

When it gets to the English Civil War dates 1642-1649 then I really will be a nerd...
