ovation bro.....yu have mail....hope we can have another incident packed game tonight...italy v australia..i know italy will win coz of their big game experience,,but how many aussies will be sent OFF.....i say 2 at least..any takers...what about yu bro?,,,cheers..

alexandre....CONGRATS Bro....yu know i am also rooting for yur country....pity Deco and perhaps Ronaldo wont be able to play in the qtrs...and yes more than those guys, Costinha will be missed coz he is a reliable defensive midfielder.....however i still have my money on portugal beating a lacklustre england!!!!!!england sucked so far....and hope their sucking will end on the qtrs...

donnie_darko....bro.first of all i am so sorry coz turkey did not figure in this wc despite finishing 3rd in the last edition.....i wonder what happened to guys like Hasan Sas,Arif Erdem,Emre.Alpay,Hakan Sukur,Ilhan Manziz,Rustu, Tugay,Okan Buruk...and the likes.....Turkey had a strong team but how did they fail....honestly they have always been a fav of mine and Hasan Sas is one of my fav all time....i wonder where he is now coz he is nowhere to be seen in the European League..at least not with Fernebache and Trabzanspor and Galatasary in turkey...which club does he play for....???? and bro the officiating standard in this world cup has been,,well Fucking Drastic to say the least!!!!!!!...i wonder what the refs are trying to prove and what are they going to gain by their brutal officiating......how could Deco be yellow carded for holding the ball and Cocu go scot free for giving Deco the "German suplex" a wrestling grappling throw move........ well yu wanted to hear about my favourite....it has got to be Brazil coz i had been supporting them since i knew what football was ,,,,,,,the colour of yellow enchants me!!!!!However i have to be honest,,,,whoever wins in the Argentina and Germany game will go through to the finals from the top half of the draw....and brazil will cruise fro the bottom half .....brazil vs either germany or argentina in the finals......and brazil to win..but if yu want a surprise, then my money is on France....do not count them out and even though i do not like or support france i think they might just give brazil a slip...spain will be amongst the "also rans" after the second round elimination by france.... yu are right about koeller....he was the driving force...the pivot around which the czech revolves...i know nedved and rosicky are important....but with Koeller in the side it gives their attacking game another dimension....Lokvenc sucked..he is not world class material and i was surprised why he was considered ahead of Heinze,,,,Koeller and Heinze combination clicked during Euro 2004........anyway on account of their overall performance the czechs deserved to go out after the 1st round...... anyway i am looking forward to seeing Turkey in the 2008 Euro.....hope they can be back to their best again.....Galatasary with the romanians in their side and hagi leading the way...(.remember the UEFA CUP......hagi transformed Galatasary.)....were a team i really followed during the late 90s early 2000

satriella....perhaps yu can share yur experience of joes show with me....lol...

captainsteve.....hi...

suzie2000....englands days at the WC are numbered......they have been feeding on scraps and against portugal that wont be enough.....even if portugal plays with 9 men....

clarky......yu have to agree with me when i say that England got lucky....had carlos tenario scored when terry fumbled,it could have been a different story...lampard was amongst my pick for the players to really shine in this WC but he has been a disappointment..is it the pressure of having ballack at chelsea..please consider that ......anyway i dont see how england can progress at the expense of portugal....

marimari..,,,,randell...zenfish.....hi,,have a wonderful day!!!!!

cheers all.

the russian ref sucked.i hope he has countless sleepless nights and may the ghost of Yellow and Red cards haunt him day and night…the jerk…..he should be banned from entering Portugal in future even if it is for a Uefa cup or whatever…....he could not have done any better to impress the english FA as his actions only helped one team and that is England..... but whatever ,Portugal will still beat the so far lucky english...EURO 2004!!!!! any memories yet english fans......remember Postiga.... and watch out for the italy vs australia game...i am sure we will have another 10 vs 9 game......the italians are experienced and if they score first they will kill the game and frustrate the auzies and thsu compound the ausies into committing fouls......the italians are shrewd footballers and thus the serie A has been considered one of the most technical leagues in the world....... ukraine might cause a minor upset..watch out for sheva agin...it might just be his night.......

have a nice day all......and hope the referees have a better game tonight.....they have been so fucking horrible so far.....i hope when it really matters they dont fuck up and thus deprive the correct or deserving team a place in either the semis or finals.......

Seriously…….Three cheers to Alexandre and Portugal….i just hope Figo does not face the repercussions of his action (head butt on Van Bommel) or else with Deco,Ronaldo and Figo out,,and yes Costinha too..,,Portugal might as well forfeit the game to England….

BRAZIL.....ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! BERAZIL BRAZIL.. BRASIL...BRAAAZIL... BURAZIL....BROSIL.....

LOL....BRAZIL WILL START ITS OWN FUN AND GAMES FROM TOMORROW...IT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING AGAINST JAPAN......

cheers.

well...what the heck !!! i might as well post my 700th today........

who sucks more in this world cup???????

the referees...who blows and gives cards as if it is the greetings season....

the linesmans....who are too old and have weak eyes. they can hardly see if a player is offside or not...the pace of the game calls for technology to take over from these old timers...how many players have been ruled offside just coz the refs assistant fails to catch up with the pace of the player......

or..

the grass..... in all the playing area or fields that brings down players as if they are toddlers trying to walk.....right from the first game..... AT LEAST HERE EVEN THE REFS ARE NOT SPARED..I HAVE SEEN 5 REFS FALL DOWN WHILE TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH THE PLAYERS DURING A MATCH....LOL,,LOL,,, UNFORTUNATELY,,,,many promising moves had been cut short coz the players end up falling on the ground coz of the slippery condition...... hope Franz Beckenbaur has noticed that......

HAPPY 700TH TO ME.....

and yes....if anybody is a fan of Colin Edwards they should be sympathised with coz Edwards was on the brink of winning his 1st MOTO GP (500cc) but he crahsed on the last bend while riding wheel to wheel with Nicky Hayden.......

and what about Alonso...is there any stopping him......Raikonnen was unlucky as unusual...hi second pit stop fucked up eveything or else he could have given alonso a slip yesterday......schumi was no better than he has been all season ....and why doesnt Montoya stop and retire from F1 and join EXTREME SPORTS or anything that is dangerous and adventurous...........

kapish....

Whisky gal - Sorry I missed you last night. I must have just shut up shop before you arrived. Keep cool.

Comic monkey - Never mind, there's always another time.

Bah Doh - You keep writing England off but they keep winning. (except in the cricket, and the rugby)

Soapy Joe - Peace man, I hope you find your answers.

Slashroom - When I asked about the 'shroom bit, it was meant as a joke! Like they say, many a true word said in jest. Lookout! Watch that wall!

Conch - Nice what you and CTR did for big gay Al after all the nasty things he says about you! (Only kidding, LOL)

Misty Angel - Chin up Kayla, in only a few short years you'll be able to do as you wish.

That's enough dribble for now!

Keep rocking all

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

On the other hand.... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh*t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Saw Robin Trower in Philadelphia on Saturday night. Great show! Was 4 feet from the stage at TLA.

Anyone know what tuning Robin uses? I don't know if it is standard or not.

MariMariSRV: Mari, were you at the Trower gig?

Tom

EDIT: I see that you did make the Trower gig! He did play Bridge of Sighs. Went into it right after Day of the Eagle...

Good Morning Satchland...... How IS IT ?

A Lot of Birthdays this week:

Happy Birthday Slans

Happy Birthday Cheese's Aussie

Happy Birthday Ronnie

Cuth.... Happy 2000 Posts. I love the Prince vid. He's amazing. I thought he was some little fag or something untill I saw the Purple Rain Movie. Incredible musician. I think the Revelution was his best band. Great guitarist. Another huge fan of Hendrix. Congrats again

TomSR..... I missed your post to me. Sorry bro. How are you?

Satriella.....I so happy for you. Joe's awesome.

mari..... I'm so pissed at myself. This project in my studio has my life a liitle out of touch. I just realized I missed Zappa plays Zappa with of coarse Dweezle and Vai. Also missed Indigenous at the Blues On The Fox Fest. Did you hear Mato went on his own? He left his sister and brother ,kept the Indigenous name and has a solo CD out. Interesting eh? Hugs.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Cuth:No need t feel sorry bud & thx, i,d never think the worst of anyone here even if they knew & didnt post. There is no ill thought 2 others in this house, confused sometimes, myself included, but never malicious thought passed to each other, thats the main reason why i dont bother with visiting other sites, i feel at home, a typical Crab, lol

I milked the seconds of the nights last week bringing into reality what i imagined & felt i really want to project with sound & composition.Poor ol "Wile E" my guitar took a heavy pounding, needs a refret now *sigh* but i have results.

Why Wile E? cause like the character it has the best of intentions with music & life but ultimately it goes wrong sooner or later, especially when slansh decides its time for yet another pickup wood cut..... i feel for it i swear, i,m a bad man, lol

Kenico:Thanks bud, the moon is treating me well this year! or is that this month?

Hey Joe! How are you now? Here in Holland it's great! The only poor thing is that Holland is just out the world soccer match.. The better thing is that the 5th of July you will give a concert just a quarter driven from my house, in the middle of nowhere in Holland! Unbelievable to go seeing you there! It would be great to meet you once, and to talk with you.. I am a big fan of you since i was 11, now i am 25. This will be my 11th concert of you. I am sure you will like the small but very personal venue! I hope to see you perform Memories once! I wish you all the good, & Love, including the whole tour with the rest of the band!! Hope to meet you the 5th of Juli in Hardenberg!

Alley says he had a great spot to see the show - in front of Joe's mic stand :) No opening act. He talked with Mick, a super nice guy, Dave LaRue, Galen, and Joe. Got a picture and a hug with Joe :) He said he didn't get to meet Jeff. The guys had a killer time, caught pics, and Al's friend Rob scored a drum stick too! He says thanks to everyone who helped, and he's SUPER happy! lol! Oh, and he loves us all. lol!

WOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

That really makes my heart happy!

GROWLER Yea! I forgot, I was gonna ask you if you saw the Ultimate Finale. The fights were A LOT better than I expected, but the 1st fight was pretty boring. Ed vs. the Hawaiin guy, what a back and forth fight! I knew Bispeng was going to win, he was definitely the best fighter out of all 3 seasons. Did you see Matt fight Jesse at the end? I was hoping to see some of his wrestling, I guess Tito's given him enough encouragement to stand up. I WANT to see the next pay-per-view event! Shamrock vs. Ortiz for the 2nd time, I bet it's gonna be just like the last time, Ortiz totally dominating. After that fight, Shamrock's face was swelled up almost twice it's original size. Like Tito said, Shamrock missed the boat, the tide pulled him out 10 years ago... the old school guys can't keep up with the new school fighters. Proof - Hughes vs. Gracie, I bet a lot had their $ on Gracie. I'm probably going to miss this pay-per-view event! Unbelievable!

Ovation You've probably heard about Friedman's new CD that's coming out, right? I can't wait for it, he had a very impressive line-up of special guests for this new CD. Pablo also has a new CD coming out soon with his 'most terrifying playing' yet. I ordered Space Ship One DVD Friday, should be coming in today or tomorrow.

-My new sound card's arriving today... as long as I have no problems with it, should have at least one song, hopefully, done today, or at least a quick demo.

I'm thinking about getting Amplitude Live, it's only $79, it'll come in handy when I can't crank up my amp at night or feel like bringing my Korg AX3000G up from the basement.

Two questions: anyone here ever use any software like Band In a Box, where you can get all types of instruments and arrangements? I'm also thinking about getting some monitors, what's the difference between passive and active?
