Hi, Im fairly new to Joe's music and very new to these forums! My son and I went to watch the gig in Newcastle (UK) June 17th. Would any of you guys know the set list or point me in the right direction.

Im in the process of buying (Joe's) CD's from Amazon but there's so many I want to make sure I get the one's I've heard live first

Thanks in advance

A little test to do at your desk.....How Smart Is Your Right Foot?

TRY THIS NOW!

This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can't!!!

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

And there is nothing you can do about it.

Super Colossal and The Electric Joe Satriani, an anthology will do the trick. Although the anthology is essentially a greatest hits album. Surfing with the alien is IMHO a must have, and The extremist supplied a couple or more tracks that night.

Keep rocking

Steve.

Good Morning Satchland...... How Are We Today?

Mari..... I feel your pain. Hang in there Sea Eyes. Cuth gives you great advise. Try emailing Webmaster Jon. Although Jon stated yesterday he's way behind on emails. Jon will get back to you, he always answers emails. Patience is a vertrue. Be Patient as you have. It'll happen when the time is right. You have a lot of talent and someone along the way will recognize this and make the door open for you. God Bless and always Hugs.

Satriella..... So how was it? Some thing tells me I know what you'll say but we ALL love hearing about a Joe and Co. show. You never tier from this info. So PLEASE......HUgs

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

....OMG.... Those Petrucci skits from Rock Discipline had me rolling on the floor with the cannot get up factor, lol, I had tears in my eyes, haha, thanks guys!.... Oh, and nothing beats good ole Johnny!!.... :-)

slanshroom: Dude, I need to do some serious looking around next time I decide to do any hill climbing in the woods, lol, I'm sure those bad boys could have migrated here already.... Thanks for the heads up, and damn, I can still feel them lurking, lol!!.... Btw, Amen on Bruce....

Zenfish: Do you like the solo in this Petrucci piece.... He can solo (especially in the second part), and I think he has a great sense of melody.... Although, I do get tired of his machine-like picking....

marimariSRV: Ya gotta hang in there mar!.... Failure is not an option, and you may just be surprised to find out that Joe is aware of your mission.... It isnt over till you give up, so, gambate girl!!....

Thanks for that kuul clip michelle!....

bahduh: Right on bro, bring on the second round, and I'll get to your mail tomm after work.... Take care....

....Anyone for the amazing Mike Keneally?!?!.... And hey..Dweezil and V/\I.... ....And he will tear it up too.... ....Then kill you with the piano....

....lol Zenman, always great to engage in some great discussion....

....I see what your saying in that question.... His rhythmic work is without a doubt the most intelligent, technical and scaring I have heard.... That is his touch on the guitar gods....

....Good point with Joe, and what about his solo's, lol ;-)....

Dear Joe,<b> I was so very lucky to witness your Newcastle concert. I'm a guitar teacher myself & drove up from Suffolk with 2 of my pupils to watch you play. The've never seen you before & were profoundly effected by the experience. After spending so much time listening 2 your music on cd's it was a thrill for them both to see you in person! The venue was so small & intimate, one could imagine you were playing for us alone. <b>As for me - I don't mind admitting that I cried when you came on and played 'Flying In A Blue Dream'. To see you there in person playing your beautiful music with such obvious joy & passion was a wonderful experience for me. Your music has given me so much solace over the years & in many ways forms the soundtrack of my life. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart - and can now do so with this great beast called the internet! I also have one question for you to answer if you feel so inclined. I recall seeing the orignal cover for 'Not Of This Earth' though many years ago. Is it true that a relative of yours painted it?<b> Well Joe, thanks again for sharing the gift of your wonderful music with us, played so wonderfully with such sensitivity, and for having such a warm sunny personality.<b> Warmest wishes<b>Lea Atherton (and two very excited pupils Ryan and jason). We love you!!!
