Children and the Bible

Can you imagine yourself to be the nun that is sitting at her desk grading these papers all the while trying to keep a straight face and maintain her composure!

PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE WORDING AND SPELLING. IF YOU KNOW THE BIBLE EVEN A LITTLE, YOU'LL FIND THIS HILARIOUS!

CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEST KIDS WERE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS. THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS ABOUT THE BIBLE WERE WRITTEN BY CHILDREN. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN RETOUCHED OR CORRECTED. INCORRECT SPELLING HAS BEEN LEFT IN.

1. IN THE FIRST BOOK OF THE BIBLE, GUINESSIS. GOD GOT TIRED OF CREATING THE WORLD SO HE TOOK THE SABBATH OFF.

2. ADAM AND EVE WERE CREATED FROM AN APPLE TREE. NOAH'S WIFE WAS JOAN OF ARK. NOAH BUILT AND ARK AND THE ANIMALS CAME ON IN PEARS.

3. LOTS WIFE WAS A PILLAR OF SALT DURING THE DAY, BUT A BALL OF FIRE DURING THE NIGHT.

4. THE JEWS WERE A PROUD PEOPLE AND THROUGHOUT HISTORY THEY HAD TROUBLE WITH UNSYMPATHETIC GENITALS.

5. SAMPSON WAS A STRONGMAN WHO LET HIMSELF BE LED ASTRAY BY A JEZEBEL LIKE DELILAH.

6. SAMSON SLAYED THE PHILISTINES WITH THE AXE OF THE APOSTLES.

7. MOSES LED THE JEWS TO THE RED SEA WHERE THEY MADE UNLEAVENED BREAD WHICH IS BREAD WITHOUT ANY INGREDIENTS.

8, THE EGYPTIANS WERE ALL DROWNED IN THE DESSERT. AFTERWARDS, MOSES WENT UP TO MOUNT CYANIDE TO GET THE TEN COMM ANDMENTS.

9. THE FIRST COMMANDMENTS WAS WHEN EVE TOLD ADAM TO EAT THE APPLE.

10. THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT IS THOU SHALT NOT ADMIT ADULTERY.

11. MOSES DIE D BEFORE HE EVER REACHED CANADA. THEN JOSHUA LED THE HEBREWS IN THE BATTLE OF GERITOL.

12. THE GREATEST MIRICLE IN THE BIBLE IS WHEN JOSHUA TOLD HIS SON TO STAND STILL AND HE OBEYED HIM.

13. DAVID WAS A HEBREW KING WHO WAS SKILLED AT PLAYING THE LIAR. HE FOUGHT THE FINKELSTEINS, A RACE OF PEOPLE WHO LIVED IN BIBLICAL TIMES.

14. SOLOMON, ONE OF DAVIDS SONS, HAD 300 WIVES AND 700 PORCUPINES.

15. WHEN MARY HEARD SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF JESUS, SHE SANG THE MAGNA CARTA.

16. WHEN THE THREE WISE GUYS FROM THE EAST SIDE ARRIVED THEY FOUND JESUS IN THE MANAGER.

17. JESUS WAS BORN BECAUSE MARY HAD AN IMMACULATE CONTRAPTION.

18. ST. JOHN THE BLACKSMITH DUMPED WATER ON HIS HEAD.

19. JESUS ENUNCIATED THE GOLDEN RULE, WHICH SAYS TO DO UNTO OTHERS BEFORE THEY DO ONE TO YOU. HE ALSO EXPLAINED A MAN DOTH NOT LIVE BY SWEAT ALONE.

20. IT WAS A MIRICLE WHEN JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND MANAGED TO GET THE TOMBSTONE OFF THE ENTRANCE.

21. THE PEOPLE WHO FOLLOWED THE LORD WERE CALLED THE 12 DECIBELS.

22. THE EPISTELS WERE THE WIVES OF THE APOSTLES.

23. ONE OF THE OPPOSSUMS WAS ST. MATTHEW WHO WAS ALSO A TAXIMAN.

24. ST. PAUL CAVORTED TO CHRISTIANITY, HE PREACHED HOLY ACRIMONY WHICH IS ANOTHER NAME FOR MARRAIGE.

25. CHRISTIANS HAVE ONLY ONE SPOUSE. THIS IS CALLED MONOTONY.

Joe..im wanna write you in spanish..:)

Rognone Matias

Good Morning Satchland.....Beautiful morn in Chi-Town. Man we wait all year for mornings like this.

Slans.... You're so right. That guy has his shit on. Amazing footage. I like the background music also. Screamo Rock done right....lol.....Peace bro. BTW.... How's the hand?

Mikesb/SteveeT..... Gino Vannelli. What a great voice. I have his Brother to Brother CD. What a great CD. The styths on that CD are steller with great songs. If I'm not mistaken Carlos Rios played on that. What a great guitarist. I wonder why we don't hear more of him? Do you know anything about him Mikey or SteveeT? What's Carlos been up to? Take Care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

BTW.....Webmaster Jon..... I noticed an icon of Joe's face in my favorites. I know that's you...lol...Thanks....it looks really cool.

really enjoyed the show in brum, time number 5 for me now, going back to the surfing tour. I like some of the improvisation going on, and especially like that elongation of always with me always with you, a good time to end the show on I rekon, before the encore, but hey it was all good. Johnny a has some great chord voicings man the sound is awesum for a 3 sum. I rekon it would be nice to drop some of your acoustic pieces in joe, as your set list is so long now, it would help break up the sound, you know like I believe and even things like morocan sunset, but hey who I am I to say. fully enjoyed it , next time longer guitar lesson on scales, that was funny, some perplexed heads I think, but more lets have joe lessons in the show, and I hope you checked out my hip hop photo exhbition on the 2nd floor at the symphony hall in birmingham, peace out and may big up yourself,

Clarkus maximus - Next question, where can I see a copy of the picture so I can look at it and listen to the music at the same time?

Also, is there a way to download some of your other tunes for my mp3 player or are you saving them for a forthcoming cd to sell?

Keep rocking

Steve.

Keniko, I've searched for Carlos Rios, and found his artist page with Verve, but nothing recent....Gino Vannelli's Brother to Brother...to me...was ahead of it's time...and still considered by me to be cutting edge perfomances, and Gino's brother Joe royally kicks some serious Arse in the keyboard/synth Department...great Rythm section too....not to mention Gino's voice...Gino's got some interesting Classical & pop stuff out...the Classical effort is worthy of Classical stature...IMHO

SteveeT..... I hear ya. The opening of "Appaloosa" with the guitar and synths is unreal. The hair on my arms are sticking up as I write this. Just a breath taking sound. So smooth and gentle but hits you in the gut at the same time. As you mentioned Joe Vannelli, I've never heard a CD before or since with synths that sound like that. A steller performance across the board especially Gino's voice like you mentioned. Superb songs and recording. Did Steve Gadd play on that? If feels like a Steve Gadd kinda CD.

Just wanted to say how Great Joe and the band were in Hammersmith London. What a memorable night, and certainly one of the very best concerts I have ever been to. The guitar playing was jaw dropping. I am a classical musician, playing mostly piano music from the nineteenth century such as Chopin, Scriabin, Grieg, I wondered if Joe has drawn inspiration from classical music. I have all his CDs, and we hope he comes back here real soon. make sure you do!!!
