I went to see Joe live at Newcastle City Centre and they were AWESOME!!! I'm only 13 so my hearing is still slightly gone. Galen Henson made my day by handing me his pick, and Jeff threw a drumstick at me. Thanks guys for a kick ass show! (I was looking to buy a bucket hat but they were awfully expensive!)

I have to say either by chance or planning, but a master stroke to hold your Scottish gig in the Royal Concert Hall, the acoustics were stunning.
Don't know if you noticed but on occasion your shadow played across the crowd, that was smart.
A good selection and balance of classics and new material, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Shame my son who is a great admirer missed it but hopefully you will return, in the next few years. Did phone him during the gig to let him listen to you play with your teeth!!
I'll paraphrase our great Scottish Bard Roobie Burns when I say " W 'as like yee, guy few an aw they ar' deed"
Thanks again for taking the trouble to come to Scotland and I am sure I speak for the massive fan base you have here-
"Haste ye back"

KAYBE - Is the Royal Concert Hall much better than the Clyde Auditorium? Never been to the RCH myself. I have been to Montrose many times. At one time many years ago I worked for Scottish Gas and recall going underneath the shops in the High Street to inspect stuff - it was old catacombs! Amazing under there. (I dont think i spelled catacombs correctly).
There are a few Scots on here. Hope you stick around.

Growing up my life was never easy.........I'm just sharing how it's made me be a stronger person so other's here can maybe relate and make better choices for them selves.....
When I was 13 or 14 yo I got off the School Bus to discover that our house had been put up for Sherriff's Sale..... the thought of being homeless was quite Overwhelming. Somehow my parents borrowed money.......situation averted Mometarily.......
We constantly ran out of Fuel Oil which was our Heat & Hot Water....This was No fun in the Winter. We had to boil water for our bath & dishes.....thank God we had Gas to cook with!!
"Tough Times Never Last, Tough People do".........but you never forget those times. I know what it's like not to have money for Food.......and other Important things.
Some things in Life you NEVER FORGET....
it made me realize I needed to make choices so that I could
be self sufficient. I made sure I didn't need to depend on a Man for my survival......
I'm so glad I did.....

Hey joe. Went to your concert tonight at synphony hall in birmingham uk and just want to say
AWSOME never been able to go to a live show of yours before but this tour i wasn't missing and thank god i went. Fantasic show, great sound, great band, great music. Johhny A supported with a blinding set of his own.
I have been playing for 28 yrs myself and have followed your career for atleast 20 of that. You have been a great inspiration along the way and to you do your magic just a few feet away was mind blowing. Aswell as being the guitarist you are, you are a great performer live. I took along some young beggining players tonight and you have touched and insprired them as you have me for the past 20 yrs. Thanks for all the music and thanks for a great show. Most of all thanks for firing of the set tonight with 'flying in a blue dream' That is a track that i connect with a love so much. Cheers joe and hope the rest of the tour rocks. See ya again soon i hope ( although you wont see me lol. well maybe one day i get chance to shake your hand and a photo) take care[br.] oh yeah to jeff - like to chicken thing you got going on!!! lol

Just got back from the concert...yes I am well aware its like 3am. I started the night by meeting my friend Graham at a bar then moving onto 3 other bars before going to the concert with 10 minutes to spare...
Johnny A was absolutely fantastic that dude is phenomenal I love the guy and will be purchasing his album soon.
Satch owned, pictures will be sent to the ol' webmaster and 150 of them were taken...the shit ones will be annihilated but there are so many good ones.
We then went to another bar where the hockey match was on, I can't remember the score as the conversation was quickly changed to girls and polish beer we then departed and got a taxi home.
A sandwich was made
