the_beatrix_kiddo - Your pictures are fantastic...I have added you as one of my favourites on Webshots....I like the last one best...oh and thanks for the mention!....ahhh fame at last...my name up in lights!....I must say JohhnyA looks much like George Michael in your picture.....oh and "Umm is it my camera or is it joe?? i cant figure out".....that made me laugh.....you know...spinal tap...on the Satch Tapes....Even when I slow it down its still too fast....hehe...thats so funny! haven't time to look at the videos now but will later...thanks mate!

Zen - Thanks for the spinal Tap stuff.....was listening to an old record of theirs before the gig...called...break like the wind....Joe is playing guitar on it!

Waterproof Soap - See it was better than any christmas....coz with Christmas and Birthday's you alwasy get things you don't really want....but this...this was and is the best present I have EVER had EVER in the universe EVER!!!! I just realized.....september when I first joined this site....i had three ambitions:

1. To join the fan site
2. To see Joe Play
3. To speak to Joe

I never thought in a million years the last two would ever happen and now.....nine months later.....I have given birth to all of my ambitions!

They all happened.....

how amazing is that!

Never in a million years I thought...never....and now

now it's actually happened!

ok

ok

new ambition.....

when I get my inheritance (this could take some time)....

I am gonna join Joe on a world tour....I mean do a gig in as many countries as I can and do at least 3 in the UK...one after the other...like some of you!....If I could just do the UK bit....wow...that would be sooo cool!

OK....I am finished now...

I mean I am going out for the day...

so I promise I wont be back

lol

hehe

bye

Hugs Satriella xx

Satriella....You're crazy! ...(But in a GOOD way....!)

One thing I noticed at Hammersmith is that the audience has really changed. My first Satch concert was Wembley 1998(?), and the audience were mainly young, geeky looking guys(sorry blokes!)

Hardly a female to be seen.

At Hammersmith there were LOADS of women, + all ages visible. I knew that one day Satch would become more mainstream. They will probably be teaching it in Junior schools in 20 (?) years time.....

Joe...I love you. Thankyou for being so lovely and approachable.

Later guyz.

ps.Did any of you guys get to the Derek Trucks concert in London?.....AWESOME player!

Shell - I wouldn't say Joe is 'mainstream', he's way too good for that. My guess is that he retains many of his fans and after twenty years in the biz has built up quite an age range in them. I was at the Newcastle gig and all the people I spoke to seemed to be genuine Joe fans rather than going to see the 'happening' band of the moment. For me this gives a much more intimate feel to the show, feel the love, fantastic!

Keep rocking

Steve.

Hi Joe, and all. Went to the Symphony Hall Gig at Birmingham and it was fantastic. Only been playing / learning guitar for about a year and a half, and my mate who's teaching me has followed your music for years. He is an awesome player. Anyway, that was my first Satch gig, and i'll be looking out for more dates in the future. Hope it's not too long.

Thanks John

Hi all,

Just catching up on Satchland... been very tired bunny after 3hrs sleep between 2 Joe gigs, and the flurry of practicing guitar since Friday : )

Thanks for all the great photos & video clips everyone has been postiing! Looks like I was right about my comment on Cardiff "... a VERY jazz moment on the ascending scale in verse 2 of Always."

Thanks to Beatrix Kid you can catch it here: Part 1

Joe - you are mortal (even though you only do that kind of thing once every 7 years) LOL. Now if I could only work out why I can't nail the MPHGT arpeggio, and had a 10th of your gift it might be fair of me to poke fun!

Satriella - I like the plan re. touring. Funnily enough I had the same one myself. I missed the last couple of tours and forgot how much this guy and his music mean to me. So vowed to show a little more appreciation in future! see you on the road : )

Anyone got any inside info on the next tour (which I presume to be G3 based)?

Think I will set up a little fan site to add photos etc to and let you know the link when it's done.

Take care Joe and all. L8rs

P.S Hi Kayla! UHM

P.P.S Sir Joe - I know you really deserve and need those 7 days off between the Nimes Festival gig on the 22nd and Copper mountain on the 30th... but could you possibly add in another UK date on the way through?

Looks to me like the potential venues are: My house Satriellas house NJBeasts place Suzie2000's... etc, etc...

Or I guess something like an actual venue (London based?)? if you have to LOL

Yeah the electric shock to the brain is man ,my rods worked beautiful except i didnt know what was going on ,like yr,s ago i had one of my penitenatry instal electric shok rods in my brain man you have to be extremely strong man and you have to have w aworkout that stays at a certain age for lif man once you prove your strong and it stays i had to get mr universe to do the test to show them that i could handle it and that when they shock my brain back to 15 and a half quarter that it would infact work and i could handle it man ,what happens is if you let the cops take you there,s something wrong with your brain it,s not working right and it,s not using it,s strength so anyway like when i was in the penitentary here in canada the strong pen in thestates started to electric shock my brains man for about a month and a half man they take it back to 15 and a half quarter man becuz your never suppose to let them take you so the reconstruct your brain with electrick shock with aeen and schizophrenia yeah i took care of kingston pen so there was no problems with screams from the electric shock when i had the rods installed in my heads i showed a couple of my cop control chics man and i had my gang from chicago make sure they didnt play around before during and after the rods the rods kill man period they work great man i talk like 15 feel like 15 and kill like 15 man perfect but if you let them take you again they shock more man until you learn it goes on for life man arnold sighned buddy he can handle the rods i was like the 7th strongest man in the world or 3rd when i wsas like 15 when i had the electric shockm rods installed for youth man later wolf2.
