DelfinoPie I'll have to give Too Many Humans another listen, probably a song that would grow on me. When I 1st heard it, it just seemed kinda boring.
Ovation Yea, the intro's to each song on SSO are great. Get Out Of My Yard in August, can't wait. In the meantime, I'll be working on Scarified. There's this one H U G E sweep near the end of the song that is awesome, you'll notice it on the SSO DVD, when he's got his guitar resting on his leg in an upward position, huge stretch, but awesome sounding sweep!

MTLHEAD You got a care package huh? Sounds like one awesome combo of ono grinds bra! I'm sure that wont last long. There are a ton of cool t-shirts o hea. I like get one Big Island kine, but hard for find you know? You take care bra. Oh, about the martial arts deal. Have never used it on the offensive, but it sure comes in handy for defense. I just hope somebody doesnt pull a gun on me. That happened to me once and thank God I'm still "Alive". Just like the Pearl Jam song.
CUBE Will keep your friend Mike and his wife in prayer for peace and strength. My prayer list is growing. Going to have to start writing them down. Stay cool man.
SATRIELLA I'll let you know about the Hendrix guitar when it arrives. May take some time. Dana was great in that Foxey Lady cut! You know I'm a HUGE Hendrix fan and it didnt offend at all. It was really funny.
DADDARIOSOUL I saw that Soundstage presentation of Robert Plant last night. I really dont know what to think. Plant looked good. You can tell he takes care of himself. Hard to classify the music though. Loved the Led Zep stuff, but he lacks a lead guitarist that can really rip. I think that would have changed thinks alot. The bassist was outstanding in my opinion and they were not in short supply of equipment as I'm sure they are well financed. It was cool though. Alway enjoy RP.
Pretty beat up and tired. Hope I make it thru the 4th without passing out. Practice for the jam has left my head spinning and my fingers have blisters on top of blisters. But onward and upward as they say! Did I just complain? Enough of that!!!!!

Have anyone heard about macedonian band Leb I Sol(Bread & Salt)? This band have one of the best guitarists in the world.
His name is Vlatko Stefanovski. My idea is Satriani and Stefanovski should make a duo.Their feelings while they are playing are almost identical.Vlatko uses ethno/jazz elements and Satriani is more into rock/blues/alien types of solos. This combination in my opinion would produce great music.Satriani is playing with Steve Vai but his style is completely identical, and Malmsteen has speed but the emotions and creativity are missing. If you are interested I will send you the best instrumental music of Bread&Salt-Vlatko's
band in mp3 for free just let me know.

Its a very good song although I think it is a bit long...from what I remember definitely over 5 minutes but still one of my favourites, very emotional.
A girl I know said "Scraps" by Buckethead was boring and I was speechless, that song is absolutely awesome!
DCK
Ooo Flock of Slunks is awesome and Plastination Station of Inbred Mountain is wicked too.
I'm also currently enjoying Music Box Innards from Kaleidoscalp, it seems so heavy and has some awesome riffs in it.

Thx for the advice.....you're right.
This may sound familiar to some:
Never Argue with a Woman!!!!
One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.
Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her. "I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman. "But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment." "Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. She can also think!!!!!
btw....havin a much better day.......thx!!!!!!
Peace..............................................John

Just stopping by for a minute - be back more, maybe on Wednesday.
The Old Mule
An old hillbilly farmer had a wife who nagged him unmercifully. From
morning till night (and sometimes later), she was always complaining about
something. The only time he got any relief was when he was out plowing with his old mule. He tried to plow a lot.
One day, when he was out plowing, his wife brought him lunch in the field. He drove the old mule into the shade, sat down on a stump, and began to eat
his lunch.
Immediately, his wife began nagging him again. Complain, nag, complain, nag; it just went on and on. All of a sudden, the old mule lashed out with both hind feet, caught her smack in the back of the head. Killed her dead on the spot.
At the funeral several days later, the minister noticed something rather odd. When a woman mourner would approach the old farmer, he would listen
for a minute, then nod his head in agreement; but when a man mourner approached him, he would listen for a minute, then shake his head in disagreement.
This was so consistent, the minister decided to ask the old farmer about it.So after the funeral, the minister spoke to the old farmer, and asked him why he nodded his head and agreed with the women, but always shook his
head and disagreed with all the men.
The old farmer said, "Well, the women would come up and say something about how nice my wife looked, or how pretty her dress was, so I'd nod my head in
agreement."
"And what about the men?" the minister asked.
"They wanted to know if the mule was for sale."

Vacation Advice
Billy Bob and Luther were talking one afternoon when Billy Bob tells Luther, "Ya know, I reckon I'm 'bout ready for a vacation. Only this year I'm gonna do it a little different. The last few years, I took your advice about where to go.
Three years ago you said to go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii and Earlene got pregnant.
Then two years ago, you told me to go to the Bahamas, and Earlene got pregnant again.
Last year you suggested Tahiti and darned if Earlene got pregnant once again."
Luther asks Billy Bob, "So, what you gonna do this year that's different?"
Billy Bob says, "This year I'm taking Earlene with me."
