SUZIE No problems with the link here. Nice tune. Cool. Like a night on the beach with a full moon......Just got done watching "Bulletproof Monk." I've never seen it before. Kind of far out but some Wing Chun in there.
CUTH I totally agree with you. Wish I had more to say on the subject but the bill is on hold for now.
SLANSH Must respect bro. You have a way with words, and so does Zappa. Speaking of Zappa, do you know the title of the song, I think its on one of his OLD albums Sofa Number 2? He has Johnny Guitar Watson singin in an awesome jam at the end of it. Could it be San Berdino? No doubt FZ or Watson visited this place because it describes it perfectly. San Bernadino is like a smog pit in southern cal. I used to live near there so I dont want to offend anybody out there. If ya know let me know bro. Have a good one.
WATERPROOF SOAP Hows it going? I didnt know you were at Pearl Harbor that long? I worked in Aiea and Pearlridge for about 4-5 years. Go to Pearl every so often. No. Bully Hayes be gone man. Alot has changed on that side of the island, as a matter of fact the whole island has changed. Big business has moved in and all the mom and pop stores are gradually leaving. Its kind of a shame, but thats life. Good to hear your standing your ground with the band. Whats the saying? Ordeals lead to new deals.
The band I'm in breaks up at the end of summer when two of the four of us return to teaching, thats why I'm looking for another band. In answer to your question I'm doing OK. Still with the dizziness, which I believe is adrenaline overload. In some ways its great because it doesnt bother me when I'm focused and I can play bass better, work out better, but afterwards the adrenaline wont downshift. Knowing the body and chemistry fairly well, you cant just shut it down, no matter what you take. It takes time of inactivity and rest which is the pits. I know partially its a thyroid T4 underload. Secondly, hormones are very powerful animals and precursors to neurotransmitters, but I dont want to go the route of norepinephrine, dopamine, SSRI's, etc so I am using amino acids instead as they act as reuptake inhibitors as well. But it still takes time and I have time to chill.
So getting into a metal band is most likely a bad choice. The manager called me this morning, Roy, and the guy is desperate. Found out hes the lead guitarist's dad. Is that cool or what. Full support from the family. We talked a long time and he is a GREAT guy. Turns out we are the same age! So, Im going to look hard for a bassist for the group on this side of the island, as he is way over in Ewa Beach. Made a good friend and contact anyway.
WS Im talking your ear off buddy. See the adrenaline is still active. Thanks for the concern, but all I need to do is stop training for awhile. Hang tuff with the band. Be cooooooool bro............Laters G..............

The pics are not mine... I wish they were though because they are great. A camera is considered a luxury on my budget. Everything I earn I spend on either of the following: food, strings and bills! Glad you enjoyed them!!! :)
I'll try to dig up some more if they're anywhere on the local websites...
KEEP ROCKIN'!!! :D

I returned from Newquay on Saturday it was awesome...I'm the only person who went from white to tanned and completely skipped the stage of sunburnt-pinkness.
I was going to read through all the posts, about 30+ pages or so but decided that I would be lazy as it is far too hot for me to be bothered to do anything lol.
I hope everyone is ok and continuing to have a good summer.

Alex10: how much of what does he make? Cool guitar moves? Awesome solos? Blue Steel looks? Well seriously I have no idea how much of a profit he makes.
Hey all. Well for the first time in 6 years or something I've been able to get in the chat room and just my luck there's no one else around. Bottom face.
Just downloading the new quicktime thingy. Watched the first one with no sound. Don't know why.
Bahduh: hey man, bands are going steadily at the moment. Rock band (Prism) I haven't seen the guys for 2.5 weeks since our last gig. Kids band (OddSox) we're on the road this weekend. Both bands hitting the studio soon. Prism doing a properly produced full length album (once we've written the rest of it and got the money together) and OddSox will be recording a demo EP live in the studio. It's pretty exciting for me. Looking forward to it.

Satriella: Hi Sandy! Nooooo, that's just for the S.America/Mexico G3-06 Tour. I'm sure there will be a different lineup for the European G3-07 Tour (i'm guessing) but maybe not. I've not hear or read details on that tour yet.....it's a little early I suppose to have that tour lineup finalized just yet. I'm still hoping for Andy Timmons, I plan on crossing the pond for a few of those shows if I an get the time off work. SV had said he was going to take a lil time off touring when I saw him in the UK. I hope he'll be with the G3 then, he's so amazing!! fingers crossed!

if anybody is new Milford CT in august
not only is Joe at the NGSW for clinics.. but so is Buckethead and Dave Martone.
Now that would be a fresh G3.
Joe Satriani at the NSGW you will be there the same time as Buckethead and Dave Martone(dave is a fixture for those guys).
Now that would be a dream G3 for me at least ..
any chance of these guys being invited to at least jam with you ?

CUTH
Thanks for the info on BX3.........The only way they could top that line up is to get Stanley up on stage, and of course the late, great Jaco Pastorious!!!!
I wonder if Stu is aware of that Bill Clements video on Youtube.........for those who may not have seen it.Bill Clements is a bassist from Michigan who is an amputee and continues to play the bass with left hand hammer-on/pull-offs and a bandana tied close to the nut to pevent open strings from ringing...........He would be a phenomenal addition to the BX3.......
thanks again Cuth
Peace....................................John
