I still remember the first time I heard Joe Satriani’s music…I was driving and listening to the radio when ALWAYS WITH ME ALWAYS WITH YOU started playing…It was the music I had been waiting for…it’s like it unlocked something in my mind or soul…It forever changed me… when the song finished playing the DJ never said who played that piece…from then on it was my mission to find out who played that song…what a feeling to finally find out that Joe Satriani was the force behind that song…

twenty years later…it was and still is a beautiful piece…like sooo many others…

I have done the following:

"17. When the money comes out the ATM, scream "I won! I won!"

18. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot yelling, "Run for your lives, they're loose!!"

11. Specify that your drive-through order is "to go".

10 Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat - with a serious face

It's all good fun though.

Master Yoda B.A

Congratulations, but now you have to collect all the other letters of the alphabet!...or atleast S.T.U.R.D to put on the end because that would breed hilarity.

Ovation1:enter foe then promply disengage,Softness overcoming hardness

Chinese philosophy is the backbone of Martial Arts as you know. Those words are taoist which i apply in situations i cannot govern.I,ve yet to see it fail & if it does its my lack of understanding, i got much t learn bro but i on it,lol

The warriors song:

Allowing the opponent to attack me with great force

i use four ounce to displace one thousand

entice the opponent forward then promply discharge

Stillness Defeats Motion:

If the opponent doesnt move, i dont move

If the opponent starts to move, i move first

Distance:

Now conceal, now reveal your intentions

Where there is pressure on the left, then make the left empty

When there is pressure on the right, then make the right distant

When the opponent looks up, i am still higher

when he looks down i am still lower

When he advances, the distance seems surpassingly long

When he retreats the distance surpassingly short

A feather cannot be added

A fly cannot land

Nobody knows me

I alone know them

An invincible hero can thus be made

All this is achieved in the same way

Slansh asks:Who wants to be a hero?is it that important to stop the heartbeat of another you only THINK you know. Not for me

Joe, I want to wish you a happy birthday and say thank you for all the wonderful music you've given the world. I know your modesty would probably make you disagree with this, but you are the greatest guitarist there has ever been. I've enjoyed listening to you for years and wish you continued success and many, many more years of your magic. Thanks again and have a very happy birthday.

Hey Joe! Due to advancements in M-theory (string theory) a physicist (Dmitri Tymoczko) has developed a 3d geometry program that gives visual representation of music.

The basic principle of m-theory is that beyond the quantum scale of elementary particles, there are vibrating strings and at each different resonance of the string, its creates a different particle.

I'd really like to see your music represented in 3d geometry! It would give a totally new and revolutionary way of looking at your music!

Imagine a bonus CD or extra content on the site of a selection of your songs ran through this software. Please give it a look!

Hey Joe,

How's it goin'? I have been trying desperately for a couple of years now to get a VIP ticket for one of your shows in Michigan and I haven't seen any available. Could you tell me if you're planning to come to michigan this year and if there will be any available? I know that you are extremely busy with recording and stuff; but I am hoping to be able to get it as a Christmas or early birthday gift for my husband. We are both huge fans of yours!!!

Sincerely,

Robin Montagne Roseville, MI

I do lub my coffee.... ;)

Enjoy The Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the Professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eyeing each other's cups. Now consider this: Life is the coffee, and the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and do not change the quality of Life. Some times, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided."

So, don't let the cups drive you... Enjoy the coffee instead.

CUTHBERT- Yes I think that some of the insanity list are more things I'd like to do- but not all of them, that's for sure! I have asked people to address me by my "Rock name" (Suzo) but definitely not a wrestling name lol... I also quite like the idea of ordering "Diet water" in a restaurant.... :)

DELFINO- lol, so what was the reaction to the diet water order? :)

ICEMAN- Haven't seen you posting here for a while... hope you're well :)

Hope all's well with you all :)
