Peace n love t all
screw the first bit "edit"
GROWLER:Humor is what kept the scots together, we learnt it from the Irish "thx " because life back then was unbearable. We use it today, not to hide the past, but to get through that which still haunts the subconscious of soul pain.Lest said about that here the better, lol
I was brought up playing/singing Scottish folk songs from 5years old i never took guitar serious till around 10...for the most part during those early years, the songs were/are depressing scenarios of how we were treated by the English, but i found it amusing as a child when my grandma would enter & the whole house changed to God save the Queen. My dad couldnt look me straight in the eye, my mother quiet.. as it was her mother. So i,m piggy in the middle feeling whats the story untold, lol. There is only room left for humor...trust me in such a situation as a child.Billy Connolly was our only man
so...onto another blindin piece soft t start but shows the human of Billy Connolly & i,m proud t post this it has t be said
the uncomedy side of the man
heres the other side Bill Connelly

Bahduh- well I have had a bit of a sense of humour bypass over the whole thing... but yes ok draw a line under it:)
GROWLER- :) I think my favourite Bruce Lee film is The Big Boss. I could watch that over and over. Very inspirational.
CRO NUMBER9- Sorry to hear you're down at the moment. Films and Music both do have that power to lift your mood or spirit, I find that quite incredible really. Hope you're feeling better soon- you must be by tomorrow if you're seeing JOE! If that doesn't help I don't know what will :) Good to hear from you and thanks for the links:)
Clarky- thanks :)
THANK YOU to anyone I missed on here who has added Matt to the MySpace (Tool, saw yours earlier :)) For some reason we can't edit stuff on this computer, it doesn't like it:( But thanks so much!

Hi Joe!
I'd like to take a moment of your time to say that I have recently (several months ago) heard your music for the first time. Since then I've acquired 4 cd's of your work and found almost all of it musically moving or at least interesting. I can safely say that I'm now a fan for life... :-)
You move me, man! (yeah, it's corny, but it's also true!!)
Thank you for sharing your musical gift!!!!!

Hello,
I found in the web Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and this is really beautiful, great, fun, etc. etc. etc.
Could you please tell me if you have already recorded it ?
If yes, what's the album's name ?
Did you record the other parts of Four Seasons ? If no, shouldn't it be a great idea ?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Well looking forward to the next two weeks. I am playing a benefit for the Psoriasis Foundation on Sat, outside where I can crank the Mesa and lit it rip. Then next Sat we got called back to the Bethany Grill (on the westside for you Portlanders) for another show. Then, off to Kona Hawaii for my sisters wedding. Nothin but Mai Tai s and a Speedo for me!! Woooo the old banana hammock.
* a short pause for people to clear that visual from their mind*
Anyway, should be a fun time the family is getting together to party down. Alright peeps I'll let you know how the gigs go.
Late.

You mean Joe Satriani is actualy going to see this message?
If so,Joe you have changed my life in many ways.I learned to play guitar by my father,of whom I rarely knew.Luckly I caught up to him in Indiana about 10 years ago,and moved from California to spend the summer with him.Turns out to be the best thing that ever happend to me.
He mostly taught me the basics, and showed me how to play chords and scales instead of teaching me how to play other peoples song. After that summer I never seen my father again. He was deported to spain.Anyways, learning guitar was one thing, then I discoved the Satch. You are so above and beyond anyone else, and the one's who come close,it turns out you taught them.Thank you Joe,Ive been studying your style ever since I first heard you on your Extreamist album. You have become my holy grail,a true inspiration.
If I may ask,Ive been playing about 9 years and I am very advanced for how long Ive been playing, not trying to brag what so ever, this is just what I keep hearing everywhere I go.Anyways, what type of all around advise can you give to expanding the type of scales I play.Ive discoved that one type of scale with work in E but sound even better if you happen to play a B7 with the E.Can you give me an idea of a versital type of scale to start working on for a more classical sound.Im a big zeppelin fan,or was before you,and all classic rock, but Im looking towards a almost Beetovin/ Randy Rhoads/ early Kirk Hammet style.
Ill tell you what, just any words of advise,or just a response from you will push me to learn that much harder.
Thanks Joe,youve done so much without even knowing you were doing it.Would love to hear from you.Cant wait to see what youll put out next.
