Yo Satch-meister!!! You truely are an inspiration for all to behold. I've been listening to your music since your first album (am 33 now), and you never cease to suprise me. Super Colossal is awsome dude!!
After years and years, I finally picked up a guitar. My fiance bought me one for my birthday in April '06. I have not been able to put it down since, hahaha. It's now 3 months later and I am still hooked thanks to you.
Here is where I am at after 3 months, I can play the national anthem and a few other patriotic songs. Keep in mind, it is nowhere near the tune you played, not even close. But you can atleast tell what it is I am playing hahahaha.
Anyhow, keep hammering away dude. I hope one day to be able to catch one of your shows.....never been to a concert before lol.
Neil

A New Tune In Honor of Mister Joe Satriani, laid back it is...and if it weren't for the inspiration he's given me...I may have not continued my pursuit of my love....Thank you!

Hey, i need some help about the JS100 , I'll own one in the next two weeks.
Well, i have been reading about the opinions that the people has about this guitar and most of them are really awful ~_~!!!
If someone here has one JS100 could say me how it feels, how it sounds and if the trem works well?, or if really is a not very good guitar?
Joe, if you read this message, could you say me pleez what do you think about this guitar?
Thanks to everyone

Iīve heard itīs ur birthday today, i dun know if itīs true but if it is i want to wish u a happy birthday, i live in Peru, and well. the first time i heard you, thanks to my guitar teacher(who kickīs ass) , that day was awesome, i was so happy to finally meet to the music iīve waited all my life to hear, i īve estudy piano since i was a 4 year old and formed in a clasic academic kind of environment and the first guitar solo player i hear was Yngwie, and i was fascinated with Black Star, but SURFING WITH THE ALLIEN just blew my mind, olthough the first albums have no mayor complexity in the whole aspects, as a group, and in terms of second guitar armony or modulation, in other words, u re the only one who kicks ass in the album, i didnt matter, because ur music came trhough me and has influenced me to think what i want to become as a musician, im still an intermediate player, but im already thinkin of my future as a guitar soloist, combined with the culture of mi country and of many influences posible, my teacher is doin the same thing but i have the chance to learn from his mistakes and from yours and make me better.
neverminding all the critics that other guys can make at you and also my own i just wanna say y really look up to you for your skills, for your way of playing, for your fell, ur mojoe(ur dimarzio pick, not the way u play, just kidin), and because u sim like a happy man, satisfiead with the live he has and i wish i will have that same smile and regular day face, and guitar solo gestures. by the way that video u made for summer song is hilarious, well then HAPPY BIRTHDAY
DAVID
