Ovation: Holy shit!! I just checked out your Paul Gilbert link..... that dude is just sic!! I thought he was awesome at the Amazing Journey show (Who Tribute) but I watched "Scarified" a song that Guitarmiester is learing to play and I KNOW WHO JOe has to HAVE for the Next G3....... Paul aka Pablo Gilbert!! Or Andy Timmons or CLARKY!!! Those have to be JOe's only choices, I'd give him the 3 and let him choose.

JOe Satriani: Hmmmmm.... very difficult choice indeed! GILBERT, TIMMONS and CLARKY for G-3!!! HOw about a G-5?!!!!

The Amazing Journey show was "AMAZING"!! It was like seeing The Who. No other words can compare....Does Paul have a British accent? He didn't sound like it in the vids but since he was Pete Townsend that night I guess he played the part.....Mike Portnoy played a Keith Moon Kit. I heard he did a Beatles Tribute 2 years back and played a Ringo Starr Kit.......that was AMAZING as well. I gues Portnoy is the driving force?! I'm new to all of this..... They played for an Hour plus then took a 20 min break and came back to annileate the rest of the evening. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to snag a tix for that sold out show. It was so worth a trip into the city to get my ticket. Paul sang a few songs and " Keith" MP did one as well "the spiders" or Uncle Ernie something lie that. At the end of the show they all crashed their Instruments like the WHO in the early dayz.... but they weren't the guitars that they'd played all night. I heard that Gary had gotten a concusion the show before from diving into the Drums so he wasn't as Komazi as the previous show.....heard that BB's almost was cancelled because of that. That's the rumor. I'm so glad I was able to get a tix to this show......It truely was an AMAZING JOURNEY!

Slansh - I just can't get on with the shorter scale necks.. yeah they feel quick... but personally I like a little resistance and tension..
if I can make it to Barca that'll be real cool...

SteveT - now I'm not a big fan of Tele's... just not my bag really... but I dropped off a Morgan Tele to a pal to try out today...
Brazilian Mahogany body
Flame Maple top
Birdseye Maple neck
Ebony fingerboard
BareKnucke pickups [single at the bridge, vintage humbucker at the neck]
Bigsby bridge

ok I'm not so keen on the bridge.. not my sort of thing...
but the tone of this thing is awesome... the sustain is spectacular.. and the neck is well quick...

very very nice..

Mari - do you know something I don't girlie??
like when the next G3 is???

There are some very talented poets, philosophers, and extremely deep thinkers on the posts today. You are way above my head and pushing into abstract. Cool. Very stimulating indeed. Hidden talents.

Ever have a flying dream? I had one once in my life where I was bounding along this endless grassy field with trees and groups of people having picnics and just enjoying themselves next to water filled streams. It was the coolest thing! Hope to have one of those again before I kick the bucket.

Kayla girl, To the best of my knowledge everybody is fine. Nightmares are something that linger for awhile as well. But they dont have too. Stay busy during the day and dont be afraid of sleeping tonight. What is the opposite of fear but faith. Love those NO FEAR t-shirts and bumper stickers. You got a new guitar? Where have I been?

Hey, plenty of 70's Steeler IRON CURTAIN fans out there! Good to know. All the names are springing to life again. Do you all remember the offensive line. Strongest guys in the NFL at that time. Does Webster ring a bell? Oh, I think it does. Jack Ham? You know Rocky Bleier is in the movies now and is an excellent actor. Very talented. Go Steelers! Actually I'm a Raiders fan, but we have no chance period, but I do stick behind them. Not a fly by night fan. Love the Steelers though. Got to go. Aloha muchachos!

Hi guys and gals...sorry to be such a stranger but, i've been poppin in from time to time. big shout out to (/b)Sonic Mayhem(b)GREAT tune Wonderful sentiment... sorry for the loss.

Thanx to all how have posted all the kuul links...you know who u r :)

To any and all guitarist who might be able to help with this... bought a new jackson w/ trem and had it set by the fellas at the music store and the first time i changed strings the damn thing wouldnt hold a note.... the bridge action was screwed and the trem was in a different position... took it back to the guys at the store and they told me it was because i used 10's instead of 9's for which it was set... soooo i replaced the new 10's w/ 9's and it still seemd to have a life of its own...lol... am i doing something wrong or not doing something i should?? does the trem need to be braced or blocked or something?? OR is my guitar(as i suspect) a piece of crap? Any help / suggestions would be great.

Webmaster/Joe hope all is well w/ tour and all things Joe. MTHEAD101

Well I'm not in deep thought mode like the rest of you.....

but I got something really cool yesterday...well kinda cool you have probably know about them for years but its a first for me..

cordless headphones

My family are gonna have to learn sign language now coz I can take Joe everywhere....OK OK I know what your thinking...er has this girl not heard of MP3 players....but this is different...music from the stero...anywhere.....this means when my annoying teenage neighbour is playing wrap and swearing at his playstation...I can sit in the garden listening to Joe instead of him...YAY....only one drawback...occasionally if you quite a distance away coz it goes up to 100 metres you get radio interference...but there is a tuning thing on the side so a quick turn and its OK again....still its cool!

Talking of cool....mini Satch Ibanez...for those who can't afford the real thing!

Oh and you will never believe this yesterday at work the name of a member came up and it was.....

Hugs to all Satriella xx

Heya Joe and everyone else! Wooopie I saw him live in Malmoe 29 june! And man was he good. Me and my mates cheered him like hell and we even got complementaries!

Joe walked up to the mic and said "Wow thanks everyone! *points at me and my gang* You guys are great!"

We just blushed like hell and gave eachother high-fives and such wow was that a nice experience!. Having eye-contact with the Joe Satriani-Crew and himself throughout the concert!

If Joe reads this... I was the one in the front with small afro yelling: "WE LOVE YOU JOEY!"

hahhahahah
