Hi Mr. Satriani, how are you doing? I wish you were here still touring. =(. Anyway I was wondering do you have a song, with lyrics, that you wanted to write and play because it meant somehting to you? I am doing this project for school and I wanted to play your songs but it has to be a song that you wrote it because it meant somethign to you. Can you please email me at Shabdeezjelvani@hotmail.com and tell me if you have any songs with lyrics that means something to you? like why did you write it? What is the song about? Who is the song for or speaking to? And when was this and how did it effect you? I actually don't know much about you, so this would be so awsome if you or one of your asistant manager or something would be kind enough in telling me some things about you. I have like never seen your wife or children. I don't even know what school you went to and who taught you how to play. But I think you have taught Kirk Hammet and Steve Via... or was it Steve Ray Van? Anyway it would be so cool if you can atleast give me a website or book that tells about you! Thank you for spending your valuable time reading this post. If I get no answers or anythign I respect that as well and you have a good night. US, CA, Westlake Village.

Hi there

New poster here.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to see Joe in the UK this time round, but my band mate in Vivify was able. The wife picked a really inappropriate time to be pregnant!! :)

Brilliant show in the UK this year by all accounts.

Clarky has been telling us all about his meet n greet with Joe over on the intermusic forums (UK Guitarist mag). Amazing for Clarky that Joe had heard his playing!!!

Anyway - this seems to be a very cool place.

Hope you don't mind posts from a bassist!!!

bahduh - yeah, i watched cro-aussie match. But i wonder how didnt the assistant referees and 4th referee realize his mistakes and warn him...Meanwhile what a pity for Czechs.Koller's injury made the Czech Republic change their system. His alternative striker Lokvenc was suspended so their formation went into from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1.Karel Brukner put Plasil as a defensive midfielder cuz of Koller's injury and team which plays offensive football very well, changed.I remember how they were playing wonderful football in Euro 2004....

I have read some of your posts and i appreciate your sport culture especially soccer culture. And i wonder ur comment about the probable champion in this tournament.See u soon.

I'm a great brazilian fan! I have been studying hard some Satch's musics that I can play. I have played some musics at a Musical Festival that occurs twice at a year on the University that I study. I've been proud to have played those musics and showed to people that didn't know Joe Satriani. Sure they love it! Many people came to me and told me that didn't know that beatiful music, but love it! I really love Satriani's work!! I have a tape that it is recorded I playing "Always with me, always with you", hair off (How should I say "careca" in English?"), black shirt, sunglasses, a ring on my finger, playing like Satriani does! Actually, I'm studying "Friends". That's another great song!! I love G3 too! I watched the two nights of the last G3 show in Brazil, but I didn't enjoyed Robert Fripp. It was "G2"?!?!

Thanks and sorry ...my poor english!

bahduh: Will get back to you later tonite, and what a nite of football!!.... I went 1 for 1 like you, lol, and I feel for the #2 ranked Czechs, but Italy will go far I believe.... Japan learned a good lesson, lol, and the Aussies did get lucky.... Btw, I was going to say the officiating sucked also, lol, stay kuul bro....

slanshroom: lol bro, nunchaku was a farm tool as you know, and the chinese developed it into a great weapon, lol!.... The staff (bo) and sai (sickle) were the weapons of choice here.... I think you (and anyone else interested) will find this little segment interesting about Uechi Ryu (sister style to Clarky's Goju).... In the clip, you will see Sensei Shinjo.... He is a friggen bada** World Champion from back in the day, and I took Uechi-Ryu from his dojo here in Kadena Town after I studied Shorin Ryu/Kobudo under Sensei Inamine (softer, speedy style).... I wanted a harder style, and I got it from the best (Shinjo), lol, he will tear you up!!.... I couldnt stay with it cause of family and young kids (much older now, lol), but I wish I had the chance to continue.... Sensei has this aura about him.... He has that look of confidence and dont f*ck with me attitude, lol.... Check it out, there are 3 other associated clips, and he really does that sh*t!!.... His sons are bada**' too!!.... Tough, tough dojo, no one f*cks with them, lol....

....This is the power of Uechi.... Listen to his feet.... Bodies of steel.... Btw, that is Sensei Shinjo doing the punching/kicking, and that is the same way I learned Sanshin.... Yakusoku Kumite was the heart of the training.... Here is where the secrets lie....
