Perspective:

A small trouble is like a pebble. Hold it to close to your eye, and it fills the whole world and puts everything out of focus. Hold it at proper viewing distance, and it can be examined and properly classified. Throw it at your feet, and it can be seen in it's true setting, just one more tiny bump on the pathway to eternity. -Celia Luce.

Great words of Wisdom to live by........I will do my best to remember this. To keep it all in perspective.... a pebble can be a mountain ONLY if we allow it to become so.

Here's the Trower set list.......he did play Bridge of Sigh's...I was thinking Of "Breathless" which is a song I love that he didn't play but it was a great show none the less. 2 Marshall heads & cabinets......that's all for the "wall of sound" that has made Trower a Legend. I bow to him. Great musician.

Robin Trower:TLA Philadelphia, PA set list 6/24/06

Twice Removed

Hammered (?) my writing was sloppy

Roads to Freedom

What's your Name?

The Past Untitled

Day Of the Eagle

Bridge of Sighs

20th Century Blues

Victim Of the Fury

Too Rolling Stoned

Go My Way

Another Time

Little Bit of Sympathy

Encore:

Lady LOve

Day Dream

Great show.....Robin hung out after & signed stuff... I lost touch with him & his music. I'm so glad I went.....almost stayed home & did NOTHING!! I went with my friend Rich that I've know since I was 13 or 14.... he was on Tour with Slaughter.....our friend Tim Kelly..RIP Rich has a few of their Gold Albums on his wall and this awesome Hendrix photo that I want.....

Satriella: So great to hear about you JOe experience!! You Rock! I bow to you.

SteveeT: If you have a chance to see him, you must!! What a great musician!! Are you going to come into the city for EJ on Fri Aug 18 @ BB's? Mikesb just might....I need to ask Ronnie & Alda if they will be around then. I hope so!!!

Peace. ~mari~~

SONIC MAYHYM= welcome to satchland. What's your favorite Joe song? Album? How long have you been in Satchaholics like the rest of us? And I agree with you Joe should play in Alaska, it's easy for us to forget that you guys are living up there, and that you need some serious rock-n-roll. Just make sure and wear your rain suits, cause' if Joe and the band do come up & play in Alaska, there's going to be some serious melting of some icebergs lol. Joe does read the posts here, and I think this is the 1st from Alaska in awhile if ever.

Hey Joe,

I saw you at Bournemouth Pavillion, England. Superb show. I met you afterwards and u signed my t-shirt. If you remember, I was one of the guys who asked you bout Kirk Hammet. Anyway, if you wanna get in touch, you got my email address on here. Would like to chat some time, you are the strongest influence on my music and have rekindled the flame to keep playing. Your music touches me in a way no other can. If you wanna get in touch, just email, would be very much appreciated.

SLANSHROOM Belated Happy Birthday bro! Man, there are alot of new posts since my last! Its the "chi" thats the key buddy. Meditation provides miracles doesnt it? Is it my vertigo or does Gary Moore wear a piece? It really doesnt matter because he shreds anyway. I would hate to see that baby come off.

WATERPROOF SOAP Sorry to hear your down bro. It seems you and I kind of go thru the same stuff. Lightheadedness, the blues. I've had both the last two days and decided to just get up and work it out. Hey, it worked! Hope your feeling better today. Get a good nights sleep. I'm up for the Big Bottom Girls anytime! Especially the way they pulled it off. The bottoms on those girls looked just fine to me, just as long as I'm wearing the ball bra and the jewels dont get stomped on! Ha! DL, WS and G on stage. Alright!!

GUITARMEISTER Back in the house huh? You been playin those axes or what? Or you been playin with the girls? Anyway, how about the UFC man? The best one yet? I'm not going to spoil it if you didnt see it, but DO NOT MISS IT!!! Learned some new submissions during this one. Hang Loose.

SRV So you saw Trower huh? I've been trying to see him for years and just missed him when he was in Seattle quite a few years ago. I picked up his DVD. Do you have it? He doesnt rip like he did in his prime in the 70s but he sure can pull a note for all its worth. Alot of soul and feeling into his work for sure. He said his favorite song was "extermination blues" which he rarely plays. Dont know whats up with that. You are one lucky lady....or in Trower language "Lady Luck"! G B GONE...........................

Hey Joe!

I saw your show yetserday in Saarbrücken (Germany). You and the band were truely amazing and almost all my favourite songs were on the set list, wich was pretty cool. To do the crowd chant was so much fun and standing in the firts row, I could see pretty well what was going n on stage. Unfortunately I couldnt catch a pick, but well, maybe next time... I wish you and the band all the best for the rest of the tour, keep it rockin as you did yesterday!

Oh now I can think of lots of things I wanted to say to Joe.....FLIP!

OK there is one thing maybe one off you gutarists out there can answer....

OK...I can touch type no problem...however I still sometimes look down at the keys...I dunno...comfort....not sure of myself....I dunno why I just do sometimes...even though there is no need.....so my question is...

Is it the same for I mean someone like Joe who has played for years.....do you have to look at your fingers or is it the same as me, you just look down at your fingers coz of habit....comfort...whatever....if you see what I mean?

Slanshroom - Not entirely happy with it....oh well you win some you lose some...

http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f297/Satriella/Non%20Famous/?action=view¤t=RoyMarchbank035.jpg

Alexandre - YAY.....I was rooting for Portugal!!!! Just for you!

Shell - Crazy?.....hmmmm....yep I would wholeheartedly agree with that!....awww....why didn't I go see Joe earlier...how stupid am I....DER!

JoeSatrini - I copied it from some lovely people I know who do just that basically!...Oh and thanks for inviting Joe to my house for a gig....I eagerly await the phone call!!! lol

Michelle - heheheheehehe those dogs are funny!

Zenfish - CRAZY Woman!!!!!! lol sorry

MariMariSRV - I would rather have your experiences....emphasis...on the ces!....I bow to your photographic expertise and Joe meeting abilities!!!!!!

Delfino - OK so you got the phone call but did you actually tell her how you feel....don't leave us hanging like that!!!

marimariSRV, do you read much? You should perhaps give "The Tai Chi Journey" a try: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1852301201/qid=1151311250/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-2436552-3588140?s=books&v=glance&n=283155.

I don't read much but was recently loaned this from a friend and I found it very enlightening.....best thing I've read in a long, long time.

ovation bro.....yu have mail....hope we can have another incident packed game tonight...italy v australia..i know italy will win coz of their big game experience,,but how many aussies will be sent OFF.....i say 2 at least..any takers...what about yu bro?,,,cheers..

alexandre....CONGRATS Bro....yu know i am also rooting for yur country....pity Deco and perhaps Ronaldo wont be able to play in the qtrs...and yes more than those guys, Costinha will be missed coz he is a reliable defensive midfielder.....however i still have my money on portugal beating a lacklustre england!!!!!!england sucked so far....and hope their sucking will end on the qtrs...

donnie_darko....bro.first of all i am so sorry coz turkey did not figure in this wc despite finishing 3rd in the last edition.....i wonder what happened to guys like Hasan Sas,Arif Erdem,Emre.Alpay,Hakan Sukur,Ilhan Manziz,Rustu, Tugay,Okan Buruk...and the likes.....Turkey had a strong team but how did they fail....honestly they have always been a fav of mine and Hasan Sas is one of my fav all time....i wonder where he is now coz he is nowhere to be seen in the European League..at least not with Fernebache and Trabzanspor and Galatasary in turkey...which club does he play for....???? and bro the officiating standard in this world cup has been,,well Fucking Drastic to say the least!!!!!!!...i wonder what the refs are trying to prove and what are they going to gain by their brutal officiating......how could Deco be yellow carded for holding the ball and Cocu go scot free for giving Deco the "German suplex" a wrestling grappling throw move........ well yu wanted to hear about my favourite....it has got to be Brazil coz i had been supporting them since i knew what football was ,,,,,,,the colour of yellow enchants me!!!!!However i have to be honest,,,,whoever wins in the Argentina and Germany game will go through to the finals from the top half of the draw....and brazil will cruise fro the bottom half .....brazil vs either germany or argentina in the finals......and brazil to win..but if yu want a surprise, then my money is on France....do not count them out and even though i do not like or support france i think they might just give brazil a slip...spain will be amongst the "also rans" after the second round elimination by france.... yu are right about koeller....he was the driving force...the pivot around which the czech revolves...i know nedved and rosicky are important....but with Koeller in the side it gives their attacking game another dimension....Lokvenc sucked..he is not world class material and i was surprised why he was considered ahead of Heinze,,,,Koeller and Heinze combination clicked during Euro 2004........anyway on account of their overall performance the czechs deserved to go out after the 1st round...... anyway i am looking forward to seeing Turkey in the 2008 Euro.....hope they can be back to their best again.....Galatasary with the romanians in their side and hagi leading the way...(.remember the UEFA CUP......hagi transformed Galatasary.)....were a team i really followed during the late 90s early 2000

satriella....perhaps yu can share yur experience of joes show with me....lol...

captainsteve.....hi...

suzie2000....englands days at the WC are numbered......they have been feeding on scraps and against portugal that wont be enough.....even if portugal plays with 9 men....

clarky......yu have to agree with me when i say that England got lucky....had carlos tenario scored when terry fumbled,it could have been a different story...lampard was amongst my pick for the players to really shine in this WC but he has been a disappointment..is it the pressure of having ballack at chelsea..please consider that ......anyway i dont see how england can progress at the expense of portugal....

marimari..,,,,randell...zenfish.....hi,,have a wonderful day!!!!!

cheers all.

the russian ref sucked.i hope he has countless sleepless nights and may the ghost of Yellow and Red cards haunt him day and night…the jerk…..he should be banned from entering Portugal in future even if it is for a Uefa cup or whatever…....he could not have done any better to impress the english FA as his actions only helped one team and that is England..... but whatever ,Portugal will still beat the so far lucky english...EURO 2004!!!!! any memories yet english fans......remember Postiga.... and watch out for the italy vs australia game...i am sure we will have another 10 vs 9 game......the italians are experienced and if they score first they will kill the game and frustrate the auzies and thsu compound the ausies into committing fouls......the italians are shrewd footballers and thus the serie A has been considered one of the most technical leagues in the world....... ukraine might cause a minor upset..watch out for sheva agin...it might just be his night.......

have a nice day all......and hope the referees have a better game tonight.....they have been so fucking horrible so far.....i hope when it really matters they dont fuck up and thus deprive the correct or deserving team a place in either the semis or finals.......

Seriously…….Three cheers to Alexandre and Portugal….i just hope Figo does not face the repercussions of his action (head butt on Van Bommel) or else with Deco,Ronaldo and Figo out,,and yes Costinha too..,,Portugal might as well forfeit the game to England….

BRAZIL.....ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! BERAZIL BRAZIL.. BRASIL...BRAAAZIL... BURAZIL....BROSIL.....

LOL....BRAZIL WILL START ITS OWN FUN AND GAMES FROM TOMORROW...IT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING AGAINST JAPAN......

cheers.

well...what the heck !!! i might as well post my 700th today........

who sucks more in this world cup???????

the referees...who blows and gives cards as if it is the greetings season....

the linesmans....who are too old and have weak eyes. they can hardly see if a player is offside or not...the pace of the game calls for technology to take over from these old timers...how many players have been ruled offside just coz the refs assistant fails to catch up with the pace of the player......

or..

the grass..... in all the playing area or fields that brings down players as if they are toddlers trying to walk.....right from the first game..... AT LEAST HERE EVEN THE REFS ARE NOT SPARED..I HAVE SEEN 5 REFS FALL DOWN WHILE TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH THE PLAYERS DURING A MATCH....LOL,,LOL,,, UNFORTUNATELY,,,,many promising moves had been cut short coz the players end up falling on the ground coz of the slippery condition...... hope Franz Beckenbaur has noticed that......

HAPPY 700TH TO ME.....

and yes....if anybody is a fan of Colin Edwards they should be sympathised with coz Edwards was on the brink of winning his 1st MOTO GP (500cc) but he crahsed on the last bend while riding wheel to wheel with Nicky Hayden.......

and what about Alonso...is there any stopping him......Raikonnen was unlucky as unusual...hi second pit stop fucked up eveything or else he could have given alonso a slip yesterday......schumi was no better than he has been all season ....and why doesnt Montoya stop and retire from F1 and join EXTREME SPORTS or anything that is dangerous and adventurous...........

kapish....
