OMG!!
The show was just Incredible!
I'd forgotten how amazing the "Wall of Sound" is.....
He hasn't skipped a beat.
I met Robin Trower tonght...
Holy shit!! He didn't have much to say tho, but neither did I.......
He signed my CD & DVD that I bought.
I copied the entire set list. Just in case....
I told him to please come back again~~
I ended up front & center for the last part of the show....
It was so amazing........... didn't feel like going. lol
I had a Jim's cheese steak after the show.
Mmmmmmm Good!!!
I'll post the set list tomorrow...
No Bridge of Sigh played but every song was amazing.....the vocals were a bit muddled tho.

I just realized.....september when I first joined this site....i had three ambitions:
1. To join the fan site
2. To see Joe Play
3. To speak to Joe
I never thought in a million years the last two would ever happen and now.....nine months later.....I have given birth to all of my ambitions!
They all happened.....
how amazing is that!
Never in a million years I thought...never....and now
now it's actually happened!
ok
ok
new ambition.....
when I get my inheritance (this could take some time)....
I am gonna join Joe on a world tour....I mean do a gig in as many countries as I can and do at least 3 in the UK...one after the other...like some of you!....If I could just do the UK bit....wow...that would be sooo cool!
OK....I am finished now...
I mean I am going out for the day...
so I promise I wont be back
lol
hehe
bye
Hugs Satriella xx

Satriella....You're crazy! ...(But in a GOOD way....!)
One thing I noticed at Hammersmith is that the audience has really changed. My first Satch concert was Wembley 1998(?), and the audience were mainly young, geeky looking guys(sorry blokes!)
Hardly a female to be seen.
At Hammersmith there were LOADS of women, + all ages visible. I knew that one day Satch would become more mainstream. They will probably be teaching it in Junior schools in 20 (?) years time.....
Joe...I love you. Thankyou for being so lovely and approachable.
Later guyz.
ps.Did any of you guys get to the Derek Trucks concert in London?.....AWESOME player!

Shell - I wouldn't say Joe is 'mainstream', he's way too good for that. My guess is that he retains many of his fans and after twenty years in the biz has built up quite an age range in them. I was at the Newcastle gig and all the people I spoke to seemed to be genuine Joe fans rather than going to see the 'happening' band of the moment. For me this gives a much more intimate feel to the show, feel the love, fantastic!
Keep rocking
Steve.

Hi Joe, and all.
Went to the Symphony Hall Gig at Birmingham and it was fantastic. Only been playing / learning guitar for about a year and a half, and my mate who's teaching me has followed your music for years. He is an awesome player. Anyway, that was my first Satch gig, and i'll be looking out for more dates in the future. Hope it's not too long.
Thanks
John

Hi all,
Just catching up on Satchland... been very tired bunny after 3hrs sleep between 2 Joe gigs, and the flurry of practicing guitar since Friday : )
Thanks for all the great photos & video clips everyone has been postiing! Looks like I was right about my comment on Cardiff "... a VERY jazz moment on the ascending scale in verse 2 of Always."
Thanks to Beatrix Kid you can catch it here:
Part 1
Joe - you are mortal (even though you only do that kind of thing once every 7 years) LOL. Now if I could only work out why I can't nail the MPHGT arpeggio, and had a 10th of your gift it might be fair of me to poke fun!
Satriella - I like the plan re. touring. Funnily enough I had the same one myself. I missed the last couple of tours and forgot how much this guy and his music mean to me. So vowed to show a little more appreciation in future! see you on the road : )
Anyone got any inside info on the next tour (which I presume to be G3 based)?
Think I will set up a little fan site to add photos etc to and let you know the link when it's done.
Take care Joe and all.

What's coming down
Don't look good to me
It's definable as critical
In webster's dictionary
But let's just say I got a feeling
That when this stuff hits the ceiling
At no time will my feet leave my ankles
At no time will my feet leave my ankles
I don't need really all that much
Big limousines and movie queens don't get me going as such
But when I can't vote for a president
And be total sure that he ain't bent
At no time will my feet leave my ankles
So I break off yeah I just take off
Anything that's bothering me
Sing you a love song hope it ain't long
Before the roses bloom in the afternoon
We gonna see them soon
If you don't let 'em get you down
Don't let 'em get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown get you down
Don't let 'em get you down
Don't let 'em get you down
Don't let the long faced ugly mother wearing a frown get you down

P.S Hi Kayla! UHM
P.P.S Sir Joe - I know you really deserve and need those 7 days off between the Nimes Festival gig on the 22nd and Copper mountain on the 30th... but could you possibly add in another UK date on the way through?
Looks to me like the potential venues are:
My house
Satriellas house
NJBeasts place
Suzie2000's...
etc, etc...
Or I guess something like an actual venue (London based?)? if you have to LOL
