I ended up seeing Robin Trower tonight like i hoped on at our Bluesfest.
He still jams a mean guitar and i sure love his sound. He did all the classics that everybody loves..
Hope you had a great 50 th B-Day Joe.........

THE_BEATRIX_KIDDO: I am also still waiting for my PICTURES to arrive. We were at Bournemouth on the 21st June and Jon said 7-10 days.
However, I am estimating up to 4 weeks which will take us to July 19th
There is no logical order to how these are being posted from San Francisco ( Hammersmith links have been sent out at least a week ago and that was the concert the day before Bournemouth)!
Therefore, I will start PANICKING after Wednesday haha :(

Zenfish:I can see it now, tweet tweet oh no here comes mr Java Lava fly away, fly away, erm 2nd thoughts Bluecolts a better plan, just as good a track
Suzie 2000:Its one of those things i still remain undecided about "does it matter what a guitar looks like" on the one hand i feel no, cause if it sounds good then who gives a bollox, on the other, i,ve seen people judging a guitarist from the wood he/she holds b4 having heard the music.I got told i couldnt play in a jazz jam session with the guitar i had, had t be a nice fat jazzer b4 i could sit in, infact the blues jam sessions can be the same, its Strat/Gibson or yer frowned on.Loads o music police round these parts loads
Stevee T:Good work bro, totaly chillin, great t here the use of dynamics in a solo gives a kinda Larry Carlton vibe t it
Blue Moon:Gonna stick yer track up again por favor

* Happy Birthday Joe * . Hope you managed to get some kind of celebration in even though you were working. Maybe we'll see something on a pod cast?
Anyway, hope you had an awesome day and thanks for doing what you do.
Just hope I can look that young when I get there... off to look up the magic formula. Pretty sure you said it was no drinking or smoking (and obv some amazing and beautiful musicianship).
Cool, I've got the first two parts down then : )
Take care everybody.

Slanshroom- Good point about Joe being able to play with 2 strings and any old crappy tree stump! That does suck, what you said about not being able to play somewhere because of the LOOK of the guitar. This morning I checked again on the new toy, have to say I just LOVE it:)
Civgeek/ Waterproof Soap- Sorry, must have missed you in the chat. Not been in there much over the past few days...
Zen- Matt is up there recording stuff with that new axe as we speak... I think you will like this guitar! Will post up a soundlink for you as soon as possible:)
