Alexandre: Thanks for checking it out man! Hopefully they'll eventually upload the whole set......we did some new tunes that I think you'd really like, and we played a cover of Frankenstein by Edgar Winter. Matt Burke (my keyboard player) is a ridiculously talented player (especially on organ) and a great guy, but he definitely lost his mind on that song haah! He's big into Jerry Lee Lewis, so he likes to do splits, play with his elbows and feet, and dance around like a crazy man, but he's never leapt from the stage before haah! I had to tell him to tone it down a little, because I want our rep to be about great music and great musicianship, not about Matt Burke being a lunatic haha! I just saw your post about your dad. I'm glad eveything is okay. My family and I were hit nearly head on at about 40miles per hour when I was about 13, and it was horrible. It will probably be a while for him to be able to drive with out being paranoid that every car is going to hit him. I felt that way for about a month or more after it happened.

Growler: It was a really great show!!! I got the DVD & his CD "another days blues" which has "extermination blues" on it. I've not listened to it yet.....can't wait. I got them both signed by Robin, my CD was signed by the singer & Bassist too! Mmmm "Lady Luck" ..i hope she keeps shining her light on me...... I am truly grateful, I've been counting my blessing lately. I may go see Robin Trower again on Wed in AC, NJ at the HOB.....I can't get enough of a good thing and I'm off work the next day. We shall see......

Randybass: I hope you are going to the Bluesfest! Don't miss Robin Trower, he wont be around forever....... none of us will. It will be a great show.

962: Thanks, I LOVE to read but lately haven't had much time. That books seems right up my alley. I will get it. Many, many thanks! Have you seen JOe? I'm behind so excuse my ignorance.....

Bahduh: Hi Mark! I hope the family is well. Seems you are enjoying the Footie......have fun! I'd called Steven a month ago & he was going to call me back the next night....... never did. That was the same story for the last time I spoke with him.......seems I always call at a bad time but he said he was very happy to hear from me. I'll keep trying Mark. Happy 700!!

TomSR: I was there!!! I was half way back but made it front & center for the Encore!!! I had no Idea you was there... Yup!! I posted his setlist. Did you stick around & meet him? I did.....;-))

Keniko: WHAT?!! No way......I got a 2nd row seat for Indigenous at the Keswick in August...I saw they have a new CD but didn't know of the Lineup change......WOW! I hope you and your band are doing well. I've just been working my ass off lately.... ZPZ was amazing!! they will be touring again in the fall. Halloween in NYC at the Madison Square Garden Theater...I think I'll try to go if it's not sold out......FZ was Notorious for his Halloween shows from what I understand. I still need to post my show experience about that......

Hey Peeps just an update on the last week

School is over for the summer. Didn't have a great year, but I only have one left. I think I can keep it together for 9 mos.

The band played Thursday night. We were scheduled for 2 hrs...played for 3. All went very well after the monitor mix got straightened out. Nuttin like playin harmony parts when all you hear is one guitar. We did a good job and got a few more gigs out of the deal. The owner was stoked and there were people comin in that had nowhere to sit. Woo hoo!! Anyway, we play again on July 15 to benefit the National Psoriasis Foundation. Things are looking up.

Take care everyone.

ALRIGHT! ITS THE WANGO THE TANGO! 1 2 3

I'm goin into another dimension here. Been playin Hendrix, Hendrix, Hendrix; Joe, Joe, Joe. Be gettin ready for the 4th of July Slashathon! Got to mellow out. Gave Experience Hendrix a call today to order some stuff for me wife's birthday next month and struck up a conversation with one of the sales ladies and after ordering yet another Band of Gypsys cd, I tell her I play bass and that Billy Cox is unreal. She agrees and asks me if I would like an autographed poster of him as he is at the office all the time! My balls dropped to the floor grasshopper! Well, OK! A poster of a bassist, let alone BC, I'm close to heaven!

SRV You are Lady Luck girl. Your going to see Trower again? Does he sell any posters at the venues? Cant find any good ones on his site or Trowerpower either. Have all my favs except him. Great group huh? There are times when I close my eyes while I've got the Trower DVD playing that the vocalist sounds just like James Dewars. Coooool! Have a great, great time!!!

WATERPROOF SOAP Yeah, the bassist is back. Good to hear you doin better buddy. Rock it and rip some basslines for me.

KENIKO I agree with you about Prince. He is an extremely underrated guitarist, but I think he likes it that way. It seems he wants to be known as an "artist" rather than for his guitar playing ability.

SLANSHROOM Great links man. Loved the Shaolin Rocks and California Dreamin. Interesting piece on the UFO link. Do you think that if the alien initiative observed Shaolin Rocks Live as its first contact with us they would turn around and head home? Ha. Those guys were funny dude.

GUITARMEISTER Good fights huh? Are you ready to rumble? Yeah, I think that the next pay per view event will end up exactly as the last. Dont forget there is another event on Wednesday. Just before Blade. Speaking of Blade and Wesley Snipes. My old girlfriend was in a movie with him called Flight 957 I think it was. If you want to check her out shes the first flight attendant that puts Snipes on his butt. Her name is Cynthia Datcher, although I think they changed her name to Alex Datcher in the credits. At the time I was with her i didnt even know she acted! Anyway, check it out if you have time. One last thing. The last UFC fight I thought was the best. Perfect textbook Bazilian Jiu Jitsu in Ken Florian vs Sam Stout, agreed? Watch out for Matt Hamill. Apparently he didnt tear his bicep tendon.. this boy is dangerous. G

suzie2000.....well sorry if i am getting in your nerves......fact is i say what i think is right and so if yu are offended then i am extremely sorry....anyway how ios school and yes, do yu have to miss school to watch football or ....?????i have been having sleepless nights to be able to watch the games....about 3.30-4 in the morning by the time the last games finish....and yes, work too to attend the next morning.....have beeen making do with 3-3 and half hours sleep....but hey...once in 4 years and so its worth the sacrifice....

marimari....thanks for the info....and yes i am really freaking out with all the football.......it has taken centrestage of my life......i am having a whale of a time.....losing sleep and all.....sometimes i feel like i should place small twigs in between my eyes to keep me awake during office hours.... cheers and have a wonderful day...and yes.....austria are not in the world cup....i saw yu enquiring about it....

alexandre....bro,i am looking at a probable semi finals between Brazil and Semi final,,,,and that is when it is going to be very difficult for me as i support both the teams.....however Brazil is 55-45 ahead in my heart when it comes to support.....fact is i support portugal more than argentina........anyway i hope portugal can get the better of england and then we can have a dream semifinal.....

clarky.........bro,whatever the outcome of the england ecuador game i think ecuador sucked and deserved to lose.....i hate negative football but at times a team has to play according to its strength and if defense is the best offense to some team then so be it....defend and defend till yu reach a tie breaker just like Ukraine yesterday>>>>>>>>>

slanshroom.......sorry to hear about that but frankly i dont see Scotland qualifying for any major tourneys in the near future just like INDIA which really suck big time in Soccer.........i love the scottish league and do not miss the derby between Glasgow Rangers and Celtic....hope yu can cheer for scotland in the near future....HOPE!!!!!!!

ovation.....thank yu for the mails bro....yu have a few yurself....enjoy and yes...enjoy the ghana v brazil match..and spain v france too.....cheers....

lucysorets....i hope yu are getting much better by the day....take care

italy got lucky and well i think luck is part and parcel of a game,,,,,and ukraine...well they played to their strength and that was Chevkovsky.they were always playing for a TB.......he has been one of the best in Europe for the last 10 years or so since his early days at Dynamo Kiev........... frankly even though i support Ukraine and dont like Italy i dont see Ukraine going through......the cunning and shrewd italians will get the better of them tactically....and frankly though i rate Lubinovsky the Ukraine coach very highly i think Lippi will make the killer switches which will harm Ukraine.....

Watch out for Ghana as they will come out with all guns blazing...but the Brazilians are starting to gel as a unit and so perhaps today is the day when they fire from all cylinders..i have a feeling that Ghana might be at the receiving end of Brazilian ire and frustration.......and yes...hope spain can overcome france......though i feel it wont happen as spain will choke........

peace.....
